Description of Work: Treated house and yard. Had to reschedule several times because of availability conflicts. Requested treatments with a specific pesticide to avoid previous health problems for me and my dog. Summer 2014 technician lied about using the requested pesticide and treated with another pesticide after I specifically asked him if he was using the requested product. Owner treated my home after that to make sure the requested product was used. Still had problems with ants after the treatment so the owner had to come back and do it again. It did not seem that the owner really wanted to be the owner of a business due to stated problems and that he was looking for some other company to buy him out so he could dump those problems on them. I have since heard that Mayday had been sold to another company to confirm my suspensions.

Description of Work: This business owner went out of his way to correct an issue created by Angie's List coupons. This came after multiple frustrating and fruitless attempts to contact Angie's List to ask them to fix the problem. Cudos to this owner for follow through and professionalism. I wish I lived in his service area so that I could use his business!

Description of Work: Good company and products work good. The only thing is sometimes when they come out and do the outside, I have seen a nest left after it has been sprayed but they did get rid of the bees. Great to work with and very professional. We have used them for almost a year now. I like them much better than Orcan which we have used before.

Ā + -1 moreThey come on a quarterly basis and as many times as needed in between. I've called them many times to come out between quarterly visits since my house in a new build and there is no problem. They are on time and always pleasant. It is sometimes hard to get ahold of someone to schedule them to come back out. Generally I have to leave a voicemail and several times I had to call a second time. Billy came out this morning and was very friendly and did a great job.

Ā + -1 moreService tech arrived punctually. Found him very polite and professional. Sprayed perimeter of house, treated ant hills and used extension pole to remove wasp nests (clay and paper). There were two he couldn't reach which he pointed out to me. Tech then did inside of house. Each room and the attic. A nice bonus would have been the sweeping up of the knocked nests, but it only took a second for me to do. It took a couple of days for the ant hills to die, but die they did. A dead scorpion was proof of indoor effectiveness. I found communication with this company very easy through email via Angie's List and directly. However, trying to pay bill by phone is difficult. Next time, I will put my CC number on the invoice the tech leaves. There is an auto pay you can set up on their site, though. I have not used it yet. Very pleased with this service. They will be my go to exterminator. Update: used their online form to pay the bill and it was very easy.

Ā + -1 moreThey come quarterly. Since they started the treatments, we have not seen any pests inside or outside our house. After we built a new deck, we noticed some wasps trying to build nests under the railings. Mayday came out the next day after I called, treated the deck, and we have had no wasps since. Mayday always calls the day before to let us know they are coming. The technician is always on time, nonintrusive, polite, and efficient. I would highly recommend this company!
Description of Work: Mayday comes out and treats around the complete exterior of our house. The first time, they treated the inside of the house, but we have not needed that done again.
