Description of Work: Fixed Toilet leak and than toilet was clogged when it never had been before. Maclin tried to claim it was a separate issue and would not come out in a timely manner to fix it. Ended up getting someone else and paying twice!

Description of Work: Provider fixed running toilet. Started running again. Made another appointment to come back and fix. Plumber did not show up. Two phone calls not returned. Toilet is still running. These guys don't know the meaning of customer service!!

Description of Work: Checked the drainage of slow draining bathroom and recommended fixes that I could do myself. They replaced a bad pressure regulator valve in order to get my water pressure within proper operating range. Plummer was great in doing what he said he was going to do and getting it done promptly.

Description of Work: Maclin Plumbers replaced a broken sewer main for me. I chose the provider carefully because it's such an expensive repair. I received excellent service from James and his crew so I feel I chose well. I'm sure other firms could have done the job, but I found that Maclin's professionalism set them apart from other providers I interviewed. I especially appreciated the clear and detailed proposal they submitted, the courtesy everyone extended to me, and their consideration for my property.

+ -1 moreOur garbage disposal stopped working one day. Since we are under AHS home owner warranty, my wife called them this morning. To my surprise, they said that they can come this morning between 10 and 12, and will give me a courtesy call 20 minutes before arrival. They called at 11 and got here around 11:30. I like people being punctual. They said our disposal was jammed and showed me how to unjam it. They were in and out in less than 5 minutes. Quick and efficient.

+ 0 moreI had a water leak in my main line from the meter to the house, I had to replace the whole line, they dug up my yard very nicely, piled up the grass so they could replace it back the way it was, turned out great, you really can't see where they dug up. Also they put a cut off valve at the meter and tied everything into my water softener, could not have ask for better. They came when they said they would and did a great job at a good price.
Description of Work: This company was outstanding, out of 3 other contractors I had interviewed, Jerry was the only one that for sure knew what the problem was, how to fix it and how much it would be. I had a new water line from the meter to the house replace, MacLin Plumbing did use a subcontractor to replace the new line and he did the rest, they also brought my water heater up to code at no charge because this was not spoke of at the time of the estimate. I have a found a honest plumber and will continue using them for all my jobs. Great Job!

+ 0 moreWe noticed the water leak and called American Home Shield who awarded this service to Mac Lin's plumbing. They called us and confirmed the appointment the same day. The service technician came in and confirmed that they heater needs to be replaced. He was very professional and secured a slot the following day between 2 and 4 pm. They came in on time, removed the old heater and replaced it with new one. The quality of work was excellent as they created minimal mess. One small item, they forgot to bring item manual and promised to mail it in.. and we are still waiting. All in all, although they are a bit pricey..... they are professional and courteous and punctual. This is a rarity in the plumbing profession.

+ -1 moreThe guy was friendly but he was not up on new technology. I had one of these touch on touch off faucets and he was having difficulty installing that and was ready to walk away. So I suggested that he call the 1-800 customer service numbers and talk to them. Eventually he did it but he was a little bit not tech savvy. For somebody who has plane plumbing issues I think he will be wonderful. He is a confident plumber but not for new technology. The guy was super nice and took the amount of time needed to get the job done correctly. Just for plumbing problems I might use him in the future.

+ -1 moreIt went great. Superb and conscientious. Afraid to recommend this guy because he might not be available to me in the future. No problems with leaks since he finished the job.
Description of Work: I had a leaky valve under my sink. I accidentally touched it when I was cleaning, then noticed this pink dye coming out. Made an appointment with Maclin Plumbing to come replace the valved. And he actualluy did that and replaced the line leading to the faucet. I was very pleased with the service. He was not the typical plumber. He seemed very bright, could have well have been a software engineer. Maybe he's on to something with this plumbing thing. Anyhow, the price was pre-negotiated through my home warranty company. But, he gave me a quote for getting the rest of the valves in house replaced. And he gave me a reasonable estimate.
