Description of Work: David L. arrived on schedule and did a very thorough and professional job of repairing a couple of noisy ceiling fans.

Description of Work: I had a maintenance agreement with them for my AC unit for maintenance. Also included were vents and they would check to make sure everything was working properly. I've used their service for a couple of years. They are very efficient and professional. They wear boot covers and clean up their messes. Scheduling is fine with them.

Description of Work: Replaced my HVAC. They also put a sensor in the drip pan which is up in the attic. There had been an overflow previously and a damaged ceiling.

Description of Work: I had the complete system A/C and Heater replaced. They started in the morning and had the A/C back on by 5pm. They came back the next morning and finished the rest of the install and were done by about noon. When they were finished they invited me into the attic to see the installed unit. I went up there and it looked very good. They showed me the new thermostat and how to program the settings. This system has humidity control and they programmed that for me at 55%, which recommended. It all went very well. Richard and David were the installers and both were very nice and kept me informed of their progress. They deserve a mention as I thought they did a very good job.

Description of Work: Weeks came out to the house right on time soon after the call was made. They took care of the air-conditioning problem and had my system running in a matter of minutes. I would certainly call on them again in the future.

Description of Work: I felt good about calling Weeks Service company based on the reviews that I saw on Angie's List. But like any business, one employee can make the experience positive or negative. I needed the wires to an outlet that had been sheet rocked over from a remodel to be hooked back up to an outlet box. The wires were exposed and the junction box was directly above the outlet in the attic, which was very easily accessible and just at the top of the attic stairs. He was up in the attic for a very long time and when he finally came down he said he was trying to find the other end of the white wire. The next thing I know he's taking down a ceiling fan in the kitchen because he said he thought it looked like the wire might go into the fan. All the while he's telling me his life story and about how his parents were alcoholics and he has found God. He would literally just stop working to tell me more and more about his life. I had to keep walking out of the room in an attempt to get him to focus on his work. He put the ceiling fan back up (he's now been there 1 1/2 hours at this point and still has no idea where the white wire was). I asked I'm if it was most likely in the junction box which was at the top of the attic opening. He went back into the attic and said yes, he thought that might be it. It was less than 3 ft from where the wires went into the wall from the attic, yet it took him almost 2 hours just to find it and troubleshoot. He then proceeded to hook the wires up to the outlet and kept going back and forth and back and forth up to the attic. Stopping along the way to tell me more about his life. When I first called Weeks, they told me that the $96 service week would be applied to the repair charge if I did have them do the work after the employee had made a diagnosis. I was charged $217 for the outlet to be hooked up (should have taken 30 minutes rather than 3 hours I believe) and in addition to that I was charged the $96 on top of that. There was nothing unique or unusual about this repair and the wire simply needed to be connected back to the junction box where it laid unconnected and the wires connected to the outlet at the wall. $313 is an exorbitant amount for what he did and the amount of time it took him. I figure well over an hour of the time was spent sharing his past miserable life and how he now has God and a wonderful girlfriend. Three hours of my time that I needed to be spending somewhere else and serving as a psychiatrist, I feel like he should have paid me. I'm hopeful this situation is not reflective of Weeks Service Company but rather a bad employee. Won't take my chances to find out the next time however.

Description of Work: Called Weeks Service Company for a Spring Tune Up on my A/C unit. They arrived in the early part of a two hour appointment window. The technician spent over an hour working in my home. He was very well informed and educated me about my unit. He found a leak in my a/c unit, provided a no pressure quote to make the repair. He also made suggestions about improving the air circulation in my home, which in now way profited the Weeks Company.

Description of Work: They inspected and cleaned the A/C and furnace, including the coil and heating elements. I've used them for the past six year (annual maintenance) and have been pleased overall. Some technicians seem to be better than others.

Description of Work: Removed old HVAC system and replaced with all new.

Description of Work: Replaced a bad GFCI plug in guest bath. Tested circuit after replacement. Showed up on time, had needed parts on truck, completed quickly, and explained everything in detail.
