Spoke with phone operator about problem...she hung up. Called back and was transferred to "Jay". Told him about noise from ceiling fan, even held phone near fan to hear noise. He sounded like he could care less. ..and said it would be less expensive to just replace fan with a new one. Said it would cost $96 for house-call and then $130 an hour tacked on to that.....so unprofessional and uncaring.

I called this company a few days ago to come out and give me a quote on a new HVAC system. On their website they list several brands of systems they sell (Daikin, Goodman, American Standard, Lennox, Carrier, Rheem, Coleman, and Trane). Above this list they even state that they sell all brands. I was very specific in that I wanted quotes for four brands; American Standard, Trane, Carrier, and Rheem. The lady taking the call even repeated that back to me after I told her. I set an appointment for today. The tech came out today and I mentioned this to him. He told me I must be mistaken and that they only install Daikin. I told him it was on their web sight. He told me I must be mistaken. I told him that I didn't need his service any longer. I rechecked their web page and I was not mistaken. I called them and asked to speak to a manager. I explained what happened and at first she told me that they serviced all brands. When I mentioned that their web sight said that they sold all brands she told me that 90% of what they sell/install is Daikin and that they can get other brands. I think she was more concerned that I didn't pronounce Daikin correctly. Not exactly top notch service in my book.

Weeks is by far the best company I've ever had the pleasure of working with over the years. To a person, they are professional and polite. The service and installation teams did an amazing job. They moved an A/C from a closet to the attic and replaced another. They went above and beyond what they quoted me. I will always be a loyal weeks customer!!

First technician came out stated fan bearings making noise will need replacement in future, then stated found loose wire in attic and unit started cooling. he charged $112.50 & offered to come out next week to clean unit. That evening unit was not cooling made another call to office a different tech came out and noted on previous service call about fan motor and replaced it cost $312.37. That evening the unit quit cooling, I called the after hours technician. The gentleman came out after 9pm stated it did not believe it was the fan motor and by passed it for the night and would check back in the morning. He felt the circuit board was the problem no charge. The next morning the last gentleman came out and replaced the circuit board and charged $481.14 for the part and no labor so he said. I called the office the later during the week to question the 4 visits and all the charges especially the $112.50 for a loose wire and the $312.37 fan motor for which I don't believe it needed replacing because of a noise that had been there since it was installed. The manager I spoke to stated, "You have an old unit and it probably needs replacing." I noted to him the previous unit was over 30 years old and I replaced the complete unit before I had any problems, I was wanting to get more efficient.I change the filters every month and keep the outside and attic unit clean and free of debris. He offered a refund of $112.50 for the first call. I advise him that the technician needed to spend a little more time evaluating the problem and not state a loose wire in the attic. I have not had any activity in the attic by the unit. I received a check in the mail the following week and then a second check for $112.50. I called and left message for owners wife that issued check to call and no call was returned. I waited over a month and called again, this time I spoke with her and she said owe I voided that check. I paid a total of $793.51 for 4 service calls to re[;ace a circuit board. Oh by the way my neighbor used them also and guess what, they went with another a/c company. I personally feel way too much was paid for this service and I would not use this company again or make a referral.

Pros: same day appointment (for a fee) and polite repairman Cons: COST - they are outrageous ($96 an hour labor and the equipment is grossly overpriced...same thermostat at Lowes is $47 but they charged me $144!!!), do not wear booties and tracked water, dirt and grass all over my house, cheated time (in my opinion...was charged to the minute he walked out the door but he spent the last 25 minutes in his truck writing the invoice and "cooling off") Overall I would never use them again or refer them to anyone but they got the job done Updated: I was contacted by the manager, Mark, who addressed all my concerns posted here. He has offered me a reimbursement for the cleaning and labor charges that I thought were excessive. I am very pleased that he took the time to address with me so quickly and feel that gesture has warranted an update on this review and I would consider using them again.

I called Weeks Service to do an A/C tune up on our AC systems which is original to our 25 year old house and is builder grade. Knowing that it is due to fail anytime now, I wanted a check to see how it is doing before the heat of summer. I mentioned to Angelo, the technician, that we noticed more condensate coming from the back-up drain pipe at the side of the house recently and he verified that the main drain line (to our master bath) was restricted. Vacuum pressure wasn't enough to clear it but he was able to clear it using compressed nitrogen. He also installed a float sensor so that if the drip pan gets full due to another drain line clog it will shut down the compressor. Overall-I was very impressed with Angelo's work. He was punctual, friendly and professional and even gave us a few tips on how to maximize the cooling from our ancient unit. He even gave us his cell # to call if we have any questions. I highly recommend Weeks and especially, Angelo, for A/C servicing.
Description of Work: A/C Tune up: cleaned condenser unit, checked connections, verified clean evaporator coil, added drip pan tablets and verified amps and pressures are acceptable, installed a float sensor and cleaned out a restricted drain line

We had been with another local company for the past 5 years and it came time to get an estimate on a new A/C system so we decided to have Weeks come out for an estimate. Their pricing, professionalism, transparency of exact cost and what to expect were so overwhelmingly better from our previous company that we decided to have them install our system and be our new service company. The morning of the install they installers were right on time and were very respectful. The installation was expected to take 2 full days but half way through the first day, a third installer showed up to help and to our surprise the entire job was done in one day (8:30 am to 6:00 pm). They did a cut in in our bedroom to help with airflow adding a second cold air return and it too looked great! They installers used drop cloths to protect our floors and carpets and cleaned up after themselves before they left. They even call the city to arrange the inspection for you and register the warranties for you! We are very pleased with their work and after I crawled around outside and the attic, I can?t find a single thing out of place or that looks sloppy. These guys are great!

They came out and did a really good job. We’ve had no problems with the furnace. They have a program where they would come out once a year and check it all out to make sure that everything is okay. I would say they are real good. It depends on what type of furnace you want to put in. If you want the cheap thing, I don’t imagine there is somebody you want to call but if you want a good one put in and for them to maintain it; I’d say they are "A" on your list. They were recommended to us by the church. Their price was a little high but we wanted a good one put in. We don’t want a mess of putting another one in a few years down the road.

estimate to fix was the highest of the 5 companies I asked to look. I ended up getting the a/c position adjusted at less than 1/4 the price and it didn't require the major time and expense as per Weeks estimate. also, after having to follow up on the lamp repair more than once (and having first recd it where the 3 way didn't work and having it brought back for that reason), I paid $75 yet now the lamp is leaning and the repair has not "held" up. I am very unhappy with the expense of that repair and yet there is still something wrong with the lamp's stability. I am unhappy with the over blown estimate on the a/c as well.
Description of Work: originally hired to check out my electrical/heating issues. Upon going into attic, electrician noticed water standing in a/c unit. Had someone from their company who handles a/c come look. They gave proposal to fix. They also took a lamp I was having problems with to fix.

Weeks' guys were totally professional. Complicated job took 4 days. They used drop cloths to protect my floor and cleaned up after themselves every evening. They explained what they were doing and gave me progress updates throughout the day. They balanced the air flow throughout the house and eliminated hot/cold zones. They pointed out evidence of issues from the old unit. They made sure everything was up to code but also did little things like ensuring the drain pipe wouldn't be a trip hazard. It passed city inspection and even earned a "nice job" comment from the inspector. The 12 year warranty on the units are nice, too. We got a 15 SEER Daikin AC and furnace.
Description of Work: Completely rebuilt HVAC system, duct work, electrical, gas, drains, furnace flue. Custom work with a sub plenum and reframed the return where the previous owners had damaged it. Added Air Knight air purification system. The house has a very complicated ceiling line with raised ceilings throughout. Also 6 inches of loose blown in insulation on top of regular fiberglass batts made the working conditions tough.

I called on a Thursday and they had some appointments available the same day, but we were not available, so we scheduled for 7:30 the next morning. They were on time and prepared to repair all of our units. He sealed our windows where moisture was entering and cool air escaping. He cleaned the air filters and made sure that each of the units was draining properly. He advised us as to which of the units would need replacement and which ones he could easily repair for a reasonable cost. We asked him what size and capacity he recommends for each room and we felt confident in creating a strategy to maximize efficiency and minimize cost in the future.

I was out of town for the weekend. I returned home about 7:30 PM on Sunday night to find my house was at 89 degrees and the air conditioner unit was not running. After some fiddling with circuit breakers and the thermostat I knew I had to call for service. I have a maintenance contract I buy each year from Week's Service Company. Even at 7:30 PM on a Sunday night I was able to reach an on-call AC technician. He was at my house in less than 30 minutes and about one hour after making the call my AC was up and running again. The tech was very professional in his work and quick to diagnose the problem and replace a pesky capacitor. All is working well now. I have used Weeks Service Company in the past and would highly recommend them. Yes, I would use them again.

Another technician had told us that the compressor burnt out and we need a new one. I contacted weeks to get an estimate on how much it will cost to get a replacement, the technician came and asked if he can take a look at problem. He opened the compressor (which the other technician never did), checked the compressor and said its not burned. Turns out the problem was that it wasnt starting and just need a new capacitor. Small fix, great relief. Thankyou Weeks

We first had Travis out to install a light timer. He was punctual and very knowledgeable. While he was working he discovered that when we remodeled several years ago, the ceiling fan was incorrectly wired using our entry light's neutral wire. He recommended that we have it rewired correctly as soon as possible and gave us a proposal for that work and the installation of an outside motion security light. I scheduled that work to be done a little over a week later. Justin arrived on time with no idea what he was here for or that he needed a 10' ladder (stated on the proposal). The main office didn't give him a copy of the proposal or even a description of the work expected. So, he had to go back to the office and get a taller ladder. When he returned, he was very professional and got quickly to work. Once he realized how long the work was going to take, he had David join him to get it all done. David was also very professional. However, when Justin told David to install the outside light, there was some miscommunication because he replaced the one over the garage instead of the one on the side of the house. Once the mistake was discovered, he quickly reinstalled the one over the garage and then installed the new one on the side of the house. Unfortunately, now the one over the garage doesn't work correctly. It stays on instead of only coming on with motion. Overall I think they did great work. I just think they need to work on their communication with the main office and each other.

Weeks is the best!!! Before I found Weeks I was ripped off by another AC company. I wish I had found Weeks before I used the other company. I have been using Weeks for about 3 years or more now and they are AWESOME! I do their bi annual maintenance. They come in the spring and clean and check the AC then in the Fall for the Heater. They have never tried to tell me I need stuff I don't. They come in very clean and wear coverings over their shoes and clean up when they are done! Their technicians answer your questions and spend a good bit of time cleaning the systems and running tests. I always need a new filter in the attic and I forget to tell the dispatcher but the techs will run back to the shop and get one with no additional charge and because I buy the annual maintenance I get 10 percent off the parts and the filter!! I totally trust Weeks. They are my all things AC and Heat!! You can trust them to do a great job at a fair price.
