Weeks Service Co

My air conditioner quit working. I called Weeks in the morning and they set up an appointment for that afternoon. The service tech called before he came to let us know when he would be there. The problem was a burned out capacitor, the cheapest thing on the unit. He had the part in the truck and had the unit working in less than a half hour. We bought the annual service package for two maintenance trips per year since the company was so good to work with.

They are excellent. I think their prices are competitive. Their quality is superior and they've got good workmen. They are punctual, they show up when they are supposed to and they do all the right things.

I contacted Weeks based upon the good reports from this site. They are also a NATE-certified company that was listed as approved by Amana for warranty repair on their HVAC units. I spoke with Kim (customer service) regarding what service could be provided and after asking just a few questions about how Weeks operated I realized this is not a company I wanted to have come to my home. I found her repsonses short and unhelpful. I asked basic things such as and quot;if Amana warranties the equipment, would I be charged for only the labor?and quot; According to Amana, that is the case and I just wanted confirmation. I did not appreciate her increasingly terse responses where she dwelled more on how Weeks would have to be and quot;cleaning up the mess from the installer (another company)and quot; rather than helping me with my HVAC problems. I know the previous installer was garbage because they went bankrupt. Plus, the earliest I could get assistance was 13 days from now! When a home's HVAC is not working, waiting two weeks is absurd even for a busy company. Last, when I am contacting a company for a major home appliance or equipment, I want to feel comfortable they are reliable and responsive. I want to identify companies I can use long-term and trust. My experience with Weeks on the phone was enough for me to cancel the appointment I had just made. Kim did not even sound concerned when I changed from a 'yes' to 'no' appointment in the same conversation with her.

Its been a long time, but I remember the staff and company really knew what they were doing, very professional. I thought it was a little expensive, but had nothing to compare it to, and would rather pay a little more for good service. It has been over a year and AC has given me no problems since.

It's a good service and I liked everything about them because they explained what they were doing and why.

They are very professional, arrive on time, uniformed, put beauties on as they go into the house. They work efficiently.

We were told that they did not service our area though we are in southwest Houston. They wished me luck and hung up quickly, before I could ask any other questions such as what areas they do service and recommendations for someone who does service my area.

The 2 gentlemen did a very good detail job and was completed in a very timely manner.

They are good. They are always timely. They call when they say it will be in the morning or afternoon. They will call me if they have another job and when I have an afternoon appointment. I call their office and tell them to come later when something comes up. That is if I have to leave.

They showed up on time. The final cost was very close to the estimate and they cleaned up after themselves. I'd definitely use them again. Very dependable and professional.

I've always been very happy with them. They have an annual rate that I pay. They have done repairs in the past on my heating and air conditioning units or my heat pump, which is two in one. I did get an estimate from them for a new unit but I went with somebody else. I like the fact that they are always very prompt, always very knowledgeable and very courteous. I have no complaints at all. It's a company that I can trust and I do get very quick service.

Weeks provided the lowest estimate out of three bids and provided a firm all inclusive rate. The others were only rough estimates that were not all inclusive. It is nice to know you are getting awesome quality service with no surprises. The crew arrived on time, covered all my carpet with tarps and went to work. They end product was perfect. In Friendswood, AC must be inspected by the city. When the city showed up, the inspector indicted that he never has any problems with the work Weeks does. Based on my experience, I was not surprised by his comments.

Went very well. Weeks employee was very professional and continually worked until the job was complete.

They did a great job on the installation and their response time when I called them last week was within two hours.

They were honest, polite, clean, and well mannered. They did everything that we needed them to do. They fixed one little part that needed to be fixed and didn't tell me that I need to change the compressor or have to buy a new unit.

I am very pleased with the knowledge of the technician.

They were very timely when they came out. They did not get offended because my husband know A/C and stuff and so he was able to give his opinion that kind of thing and they listen to him and said OK and so they knew what we wanted and did it and at the end when they're living they had blown little insulation through the vents and they're already pack up and getting ready to leave but they saw that and they were ready to pull off their vacuum and all that even though their already pack it up to vacuum up and clean up what they had left and we told them it's OK will take care of it but it was the courtesy that they were willing to afford with their work. For the price my husband said that they were within the range. They weren't overly price for anything and it was again done when they said they're going to do it and done correctly.

Sidney did a great job. Weeks responded to my email request rapidly and service call service date was within a couple days of the request. We were wanting to have some lights installed over bathroom vanities but Sidney showed us that the lights would not be bright enough. He took the time to hook up one set to show us what they would look like and we decided to hold off until we found something else. Great job and highly recommend Sidney and Weeks.

Weeks Service Co. are very excellent. They come on time. They come timely in an emergency. Their service representatives are very upfront and they do actually what they say they're going to do.

They were excellent, a good company.

Went with another company for approximately one half the price.

During a recent windstorm the electrical service entrance riser attached to the South side of our house was ripped out of the soffit. We called Weeks Service Company as recommended by Angie's List due to the excellent reviews and the 10% off service work coupon (saved us $431). Weeks sent out their technician, Travis who showed up on-time as scheduled. He was very professional, spent a good amount of time with us explaining what needed to be done. He let us know that our electrical service was out of code and needed to be reconfigured. He gave us an estimate of nearly $5,000. We were not expecting it to need this much work done, so Travis told us about their no-interest financing and helped us apply. As we were discussing the work, we mentioned that our neighbor was about to have an electrical pole installed on the opposite side of our home, at which time he made some calls to find out when that would be scheduled, as it would save us about $1000 to wait until that happened to have our work done. He then proceeded to fix us up temporarily by reattaching our riser to prevent our power from being cut off by Centerpoint, he did this at no charge to us. He called out an electrical specialist to confirm what needed to be done and make sure we were going to be up to code by relocating the service entrance from the new pole. After the specialist came out, Travis wrote us a new quote that was $1000 less than originally quoted and told us to call the office to schedule the work as soon as the new pole was set. Again, Travis showed up on time, as scheduled and spent the day performing the work. He was super-nice and super professional. The work is very professional and we couldn't be happier. We weren't expecting to spend money to have this electrical work done but Travis at least made the experience a good one. We would definitely call Weeks again if the need arises.

It went well overall. The weather was an issue but the service was good. The electrician had to perform alot of manual labor in rainy weather. Had to wait on rain for soil to be returned but came out as soon as it stopped.

Our house was either stuck by lighting or it struck something very close to the house. All the electronics in the house were cooked and the central heat/AV system would not come on. I call Weeks and they sent someone out the next day to investigate the central heat/AC system. The technician showed up on time and was very professional. He showed me the damaged heater/AC components and provided a quote. They were ready the next day and did great job on the installation. They laid down tarps to insure they did not get the carpet dirty. Overall they did a great job and I would highly recommend them. In fact I did call them back out a couple of days later to investigate an electrical problem with some outlets. Again they did a great job correcting the problem. They replaced a breaker in the main electrical panel and a GFI in the bathroom. Again, the technician was very professional.

Contacted the company in reference to my Air Conditioning unit not cooling. Spoke with a call taker who was very professional and informative of the services available and what would save me the most money. I chose to purchase a service plan and scheduled the next available appointment. Technician arrived as scheduled and was very polite and professional. The unit was cleaned and cooling problem was fixed. I was advised of the services performed and problems that were found and corrected. Outstanding service. Nice to see a company that still values customer service.
