The quote was high. He was on time and very professional. The only reason he wasn't selected was because of the pricing.

This builder appeared very competent and familiar with the city codes as they applied to my project, but due to a death in the family was unable to submit a bid in the time frame required.

Ben and his team did an outstanding job reconstructing my leaking shower. The guys were prompt, did a complete job and thoroughly cleaned up each day. I was impressed with Ben's professionalism and attention to detail. He kept me informed on the progress of the project and explained what his guys were doing every step of the way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BEN!

I got them from Angie's List. They did a great job. They did exactly what they said they would do, did it in a timely manner and he was always accessible. He returned my calls promptly which was really nice. He did good work. He made sure everything was done well.

We had several bids and we went with somebody else. They were very nice and prompt. We ended up finding somebody through a friend that gave us a better price. They were great and that's the only reason we didn't use them.

Owner of Longhorn Maintenance came and gave me an estimate. He told me he had a big project his crew was working on, hotel/motel units but he would pull someone to come and do the work I needed done. He was pretty good about keeping me advised when he would be there to do the work, which took a couple of days. He was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. I thought the price was fair.

it's almost impossible to find someone for such a small job but thank goodness Long Horn accepted my job! He did a wonderful, on time, on estimate, quality work at a very fair price. I would gladly hire him anytime!

He was excellent. He was eager to help with additional projects once he was finished with the drywall work. He did some expansion joint repair, installed a new toilet seat and I plan to hire him to help with some exterior painting on my french doors. He was also very prompt.

Very good! From my experience, Ben Franklin is a honest businessman and is a pleasure to work with. He followed through with his word, did quality work, the price was reasonable, and most of his crew spoke english and were very polite. I plan to do future business with him and would recommend him to family and friends.

Overall it was a very poor job done. The hardwood flooring was not installed right after 2 months the flooring in the living room and master bedroom started buckling. I had longhorn come out he said he would take care of it after not hearing from him after 2 weeks I talked to him and he told me I needed to get a flooring expert out to look it over. I did he wrote up a full report we pulled up some of the flooring found no glue and he used a meter to determine moisture in the cement it showed high moisture content. There was no moisture barrier put down and he did not use the proper spacing inbetween the walls. Also when he ripped out the bathtub out of the master bath instead of putting the proper backer board to the ceiling he only put it to where the the tub/shower came out leaving a 1/4 to 1/2 in gap. He put mud along the gap and now I have hump all around my shower. Found out that the personal he was using are not working under the proper licenses. I have not heard from him since I sent him the letter the inspector wrote up. Also I had to get plummer to come out and redo the sink in the kitchen. He also did a bad job on calking around the new windows. He did not finish the job. I bought all materials before hand except a couple of things. For what I paid for I did not get a professional job done after all the money I spent I now have messed up flooring. Since he has not gotten back in touch with me I am going to hand it over to a lawyer and take it to court.

It was a long drawn out process. It went way over budget for the windows. When it came to the final bill, we ended up owing twice as much as we thought it was going to be. I had to call them back to finish the carpet insulation. I could feel the tack strips. They missed a couple of cabinets in the kitchen that should have been painted. They also missed painting the side of the cabinet next to the refrigerator. The quality of the work was not professional.

Start time was delayed due to having to order columns plus the weather was not conducive to working on the original date. Once the columns arrived, the crew completed the work in a timely manner. I am pleased with the finished product - the porch looks terrific. I would use their services again.

This was my first experience with Angie's List and I couldn't be happier with the results. I contacted Longhorn Maintenance, spoke with Mr. Franklin and explained (as best I could), what needed to be done. My Franklin came out the next day while I was at work. He called me with the estimate and discussed with me what needed to be done. I gave him consent to go ahead with the job, but I was concerned that I wasn't going to make it home by the time he was finished in order to pay him. No problem. I felt I'd been transported back in time to Mayberry and the world of Andy Griffith. Mr. Franklin removed and hauled away the old door, bought and installed a new door, repaired the structural damage to the house and left me a bill taped to the door, to please drop him a check in the mail. WOW! The work was done right, the work area was left spotless and I didn't have to take time off from work! Thank you Mr. Franklin and Angie's List.

They did a great job. It was slightly expensive, but the quality of the work was great.

Ben Franlkin came by for the initial estimate and I pointed out what the problems were. He informed me that the work could be done in one visit and that the service call cost would cover the cost of the work. The work was done approximately a week later while I was away. When I came home, I inspected the work and found both fences in excellent condition. The work was professionally done and the yard was in very neat order. I definitely recommend this company for handywork and maintenance jobs. I found Ben to be responsible and professional and plan on using this service again.

They did a great job in every way. They showed up when they said they would, knew what they were doing, worked hard and finished in a timely manner. What a relief to find such a good crew of workers.

His price included the door and the paint. He is always there when I need him. I call him and he responds. He is very good. I don't think that there is anything that he can improve upon. He is very upfront and honest. He is a good man.

Several estimates were given by different companies. I chose Longhorn because of the cost and his knowledge of what it would take to complete the project. All work was done satisfactorily.

The entire project was pleasantly painless for me. Initial contact between Mr. Franklin and myself was by telephone. His came to the house to review the project and provided me an estimate and date of work within two days. Mr. Franklin and crew (two men) were careful to clean as they went, were proficient in their areas of expertise, were on time or when expected, were friendly yet professional. The entire project took 1 and 1/2 days, with the attic work taking the longest. There was no waste of materials and no up-front payment. I am completely satisfied with the work done, the price, and the manner in which the people completed the project.
