 + 0 moreThe shower looks great! The did a good job of stripping off the old caulk and mold without damaging the faux marble. The did a neat job of applying new caulk. The shower is built from pieces of cultured faux marble rather than being a single-piece unit, so there were a lot of seams to re-caulk. We were told the job normally takes about 2 hours, but the repairman spent nearly 3 hours doing the job and did not charge anything extra. I'm very happy with the results.

 + -1 moreThe bathtub & tile was yellow, dingy and just plain ole' ugly. When Grout Works finished the job it look like a new tub and definitely brand new tile. The shower stall was in need of some updating and again, they did an excellent job. The old grout did not match the tile, their color recommendation was perfect. If you need this type of work done, Grout Works are the people to do it.

 + -1 moreI called and talked to the owner and he said he was on a job and would call me the next day. He never called. I called him three more times and left messages and he never returned any of my calls. It was not a big tile job so maybe that is the reason he blew me off. I will never recommend him to anyone for anything!

 + -1 moreIt was my first experience with a grout sealer and it was excellent! John was quick to respond to phone calls, he was on time, courteous, friendly and professional. he was done in the tiem he estimated and cleaned up everythgin after he was done. I would definitely use him again!
Description of Work: Just closed on a newly constructed house with ceramic tile. Grout Works sealed all the grout in family, dining, kitchen, master bath, second bath, and powder room. The job included backsplash in the kitchen, master tub, and master shower. John was quick at returning calls, was on time, explained the process before starting, cleaned all floors, sealed all grout, then cleaned all the floors afterwards. He went on hands and knees with a touchup brush around all areas to make sure the sealant was uniform in color and all areas were covered. he followed up with an email giving details on how to clean and dry the floors and shower areas.

 + -1 moreExcellent experience. Zach did our work. He exhibited high professionalism -- punctual, thorough, and he was patient and helpful as I considered my grout color choices. The tile floor looks brand new (and it is not, 1992!). The repair work in the shower was also well executed. Price was definitely fair. I would use them again for sure.

 + -1 moreSuperb. Anyone needing tile and/or grout work need look no further than Grout Works. John and Jason McGinnis run a top notch organization!
Description of Work: Grout Works was employed to replace 25 broken tiles, stain tiles with small nicks or cracks, re-caulked three toilets and re-caulk a vanity in a guest bath. Their work was superb and my large tile floor area looks brand new. They were also quite creative at solving small problems for which I thought there was no hope! They were prompt, professional, courteous and quite hard working (I don't think they even took time for lunch!). If I could, I'd employ them for all jobs around my home that require the skills of a professional. I did get estimates and/or interacted with two other companies that were rated highly on Angie's List. However, I found it is worth the time to compare (one company even tried to sell me a new floor, saying replacement tiles could not be found. Grout Works, however, knew where to find them!).

 + -1 moreJohn McInnis and his son arrived at the appointed time. After John explained the process to me they went to work immediately and did not take one break (I thought that they should)! They were extremely quiet, friendly and very responsive to my requests about checking with me before they went out the front door (for the safety of my dogs). I am more than pleased with this company and the work they did for me. I am only sorry that I forgot to take a before photo!
Description of Work: I had the tiles/grout around my tub cleaned and sealed. The tiles sparkle and the grout is snow white! They also removed old caulking around the tub and replaced it. The tube/shower looks brand new.

They stained and sealed pretty much all of the tile in our house. Jason and his guys were very courteous and professional. They did a great job. They stand by their work. They also have fantastic customer service. We had some minor concerns after the job and they addressed it very quickly without any hassle. I would recommend Grout Works without reservation to anyone who needs tile work done. Thanks guys!

 + 0 moreThey were very friendly and responsive. Grout Works sent over several guys so that the job would go fast and that they would be able to finish in one day. They prepped the floor and cleaned it, paying special attention to grout lines. They gave me several choices to see what color the grout would be after it was colored. The floor was sealed and my 16 year old tile looks brand new. The grout lines are all uniform. They have a 10 year guarantee and the owner was there to make sure that I was satisfied.

They are coming back next week to re-color and seal it so I know it's gonna look even more incredible.  + 0 moreIt went like NO SURPRISES! I don't like surprises on these type of jobs.the did what the promised, showed up on-time and charged me exactly what they said they would. They'll even cone back in I need them again,
Description of Work: Originally I was getting estimates to replace my entire walk-in shower and all tile around it--along with new glass doors. I had several estimates, one for 12K which basically meant they didn't want the job since it wasn't that big. The other estimates were in the 5K range, which I guess was reasonable to replace everything. So I researched a little more and found Group Works out here and gave them a call. They actually came by my home at 8pm on a Friday evening to take a look at my shower. This showed that they really cared about working with their customers. I received the bid the following Monday and they came out today. They completely re-grouted and sealed the shower, as we as re-grouted all the bathroom floor, kitchen floor, and the entry way. They restored my shower to like 99% of it's original condition, and the floors look great too. I'd highy recommend John McInnis and his crew---Jason, Matt & Zach. Nice work guys--you do great work, on time and under budget.

Our shower has cracks in the tile which he said could be repaired or replaced with another color tile or have the entire shower retiled and could recommend someone. Nonetheless, he was going to figure out the cost and mail us the estimate for the cleaning. He never got back to us and We felt slighted and felt he probably didn't want to do work in the Ingram Mall area of town. We had another bathroom we definitely wanted him to possibly do in the future and must now look somewhere else.

 + -1 moreI called for an estimate and the measurements were taken just a few days later, on 28 May (yes, a holiday). The gentlemen taking the measurements was prompt and quickly did the job . The work was scheduled two days later and performed on 4 June, just one week after the measurements were taken. The tile and grout looked as good as it did the day it was laid, over ten years ago. Everyone that came to my house, including children, noticed the difference. Their work exceeded my expectations and the workers were a joy to have in my home, friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Their ten year guarantee is exceptional and they provided simple cleaning instructions to maintain the new look. I strongly recommend.
Description of Work: Nearly 800 sq feet of ceramic tile was cleaned, grout recolored and sealed in living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, hall, and bathrooms. Furniture was moved and then put back in place. There was also some minor repair work completed on bathroom tile.

 + -1 moreMeasurements were taken, another appointment to pick out the grout stain color, then we scheduled the date for the work to be done. I left Mr. McInnis and his son alone in the house that morning then went back in the afternoon to some pretty awesome tile floors with perfect grout and seal. They treated ALL of the tile: showers, backsplash in the kitchen, etc. And the floors were spotlessly clean. Besides these men being so personable, reliable and professional, there is even one more GREAT thing about this company! After the work is completed you are guaranteed a 10 year warranty on the product and their work. I almost wish I had some more tile so I could hire them again!! They are that great!
Description of Work: My husband and I had recently purchased a new home (new construction). For some reason the contractors around here do not seal the grout in the ceramic tiles so we needed someone to do it before we starting the moving process. I called a couple of companies to receive an estimate but they just gave me a flat rate per square foot over the phone. I wasn't thrilled with their "effort" to get my business. Then I called Grout Works. They immediately asked me when I could meet them at the house so measurements could be taken.

They were on their hands and knees with paint brushes painting the sealant on my tiles. It took them about 3 hours to do all the tiles in my whole house. I will continue to use them in the future if needed.

 + -1 moreA company representative came to the house and gave me an estimate for the work to be done. He was very thorough and professional. A company representative came on time to do the work as requested. He seemed to know what he was doing and to do a good job, but since I have never had this type of work done before, I did not have anything to compare it to. The floor and shower were very clean afterwards. There was an armoire that we were not able to move and he moved it and put small blocks underneath it after cleaning so that the floor would dry and the armoire would not be damaged.
