Jason Grube and his crew did all the work promised in a professional manner. City Tree Service delivered on its promises and did so with the minimum of fuss. The team accomplished much more than we expected--especially since all we had contracted for was the minimal amount guaranteed by the Angie's List coupon. The appearance of our property has been vastly enhanced thanks to the superb job of the City Tree Service team. Mr. Grube offered some excellent suggestions for saving some of our diseased trees and we have made an agreement with him for future work. The work ethic of the City Tree Service crew was noteworthy and did not hesitate to hire them for a much larger project [to be accomplished in May]. We expect nothing less than the same professional service we received on their "introductory" job on our property. Mr. Grube's company is highly recommended.

They were excellent. I was very pleased. There was nothing bad, all was good. They worked very, very hard for the price and they hauled everything away. The cleanup was excellent.

It went very well, we were very pleased with them. They were very professional. They did a very good job. We found a couple of spots that they didn't paint and they were back out the next afternoon to take care of that, so very responsive. They took off all the balm off the back trees plus removed several dead vines and cleaned everything up really nicely.

I bought my house last fall and the trees (one large and one small oak tree)had not be pruned in a while. There was also a mountain cedar stump in my front yard. I saw the deal on Angie's List and asked City Tree Service to come out for an estimate. They came out that week and quoted the deal price of $199 plus $250. I purchased the deal and scheduled my appointment. There was a little confusion about the date and they showed up a little late for the appointment. They did call me let me know and I understand that due to the Angie's List deal they were extremely busy. The crew got to work immediately and did a wonderful job. My trees look so much better and the front yard is stump free! I am extremely happy with the work that was done and the crew. Because of that I requested a quote to move a mature sago palm. I recommend City Tree Service.

The City Tree Service crew arrived at the agreed time. Jason Grube examined all my trees to determine which needed maintenance. One large tree between my neighbor's house and my house displayed signs of damage. We agreed that it needed to be removed. City Tree Service methodically and safely removed the tree. As the tree came down, it was apparent that parts of the tree were hollow. All branches, twigs, etc. were removed from the yard. When the tree was down, a stump grinder was brought to grind the stump and exposed roots. During the grinding process, there was a large amount of mulch generated. Two neighbors lined up for the mulch. Jason and his crew actually loaded the mulch in my neighbor's wheelbarrows and small trailer then transported it to each of the backyards!

I called City Ttree Service earlier this week to see if they could come to my home to cut down some branches from an oak tree. The earliest appointment for the estimate was two weeks out. I asked Jeanette Alvarado (the appointment lady) if there was a list for cancellations. She said there wasn't but said she would see what she could do and call me back. Within minutes, she called back to tell me that they would try to fit me in on Thursday. We had some bad weather Thursday morning and Jeanette said that the weather had caused them to be behind on their schedule and that they would not be able to make it, but would try on Friday. They came and gave me a price and did the work right then and there! I was thrilled! Not only did they cut down the branches, they took away the brush, and completely cleaned our deck of the debris. It was cleaner than when they got there! Jason did a beautiful job and our neighbor was pleased with the results as well. Jason also took the time to talk to me about a problem I was having with another tree. He is an arborist and has great knowledge about trees. I will definitely use his company again. It went fantastic! My trees are absolutely gorgeous and I'm sure it has raised the worth of my property. I will definitely call him for maintenance work in the future. I highly recommend City Tree Service.

I originally gave City Tree Service an "A" rating. Then I resending that rating as I thought they did damage to my home (the siding) and did not own up to the mistake. I had to get in touch with Angie's List customer service to get them to come out and look at the damages. Come to find out they did not do the damages after all. The builder took the blame for the damages t my siding and they are repairing that for me. City Tree Service did a great job on the removal of the tree. They cleaned up after themselves and left the yard very clean. If you need any tree services done, please give City Tree Service a call...they will do right by you.

City Tree Service were very good in communicating with me, letting me know that they had run into a problem with the earlier appointment. And this was done in a timely manner. The work crew was professional and respectful. The work was accomplished much quicker than I had expected, the limbs removed, and ALL debris was removed of blown from my yard.

Jason and his crew did an excellent job trimming and removing the clippings. We were very pleased with his company and will definitely use them again.

The crew provided excellent service. Unfortunately the day we were scheduled for service, a storm hit; the team did want they could before it got unsafe. They returned the next day in the afternoon and work continued on the following day. Our yard has a lot of trees and most of them were due for some work. The crew worked hard, were very polite and patient. My wife was able to coordinate all of the work without needing my support to keep them "honest". The owner did a walk though with me to answer any questions I had since I wasn't present. We will definitely use them again.

They arrived earlier than the set appointment after calling to get my approval. They were careful and cleaned up well. I felt the value for the price I paid was fair. I was pleased with the results.

His team was very professional and careful around my home and deck. They cleaned the area of everything that was removed and repositioned my outdoor furniture. The overall cost was within my budget. I plan to have them return later this spring and plant a new tree. If you want a professional job done for a reasonable price, this is the company to call. It is a small business that puts their heart into their work and it shows!

Very please with work, timeliness, couresy and cleanup. I was contacted for an appointment within 24hrs. 2 further calls were made by the company to verify appointment and let us know when they were on thier way ( at arranged time). Job was assessed and options given to us for ways in dealing with the tree- which had split, fallen on top of a shed and over a neighbor's fence. The price quoted was adhered to and the correct discount given for the Angies list coupon- 2 small trees were added at no charge.Jason made sure the neighbor was consulted and took down a section of the fence - which was put back after the job. All branches were first removed safely before the main tree trunks - with no damage to the shed. The crew worked hard and cleaned up area and front drive well. Everyone was polite and professional.

We purchased the "Angie's Deal" for City Tree Service. Before I had a chance to call the company they called to inquire about a convenient time for our tree service. We set an appointment at that time. The day before the appointment we received a confirmation call confirming the appointment time. Jason Grube and his employees arrived on time, did an excellent job and cleaned the yard when they finished. We were very pleased with their work and will use then again.

I was happy they could come during Spring Break. I hurt my lower back and was unable to do much yard work. They were punctual and fast in their work. I was unsure of how much my purchase would cover in tree trimming. The owner was very polite and showed me what they could do. I wanted some extended work on the border bushes and we compromised on the cost. It took the about 3 hrs of work and they left with all the clippings. I called back as I noticed they missed a spot which they took care of in a few days when they were back in the neighborhood.

I took advantage of that special they had on Angie's List which was 400.00 worth of work for 199.00. I was blown away and totally impressed with what they did. Jason and his crew came and took care of a corner area with 2 oaks. They cleaned them up and now they look just gorgeous! He went ahead and assessed the front and back which has about 28 oak trees. He gave me a breakdown of what they would do to include a lot more than just trimming and sculpting the tree. He's now coming back to do the rest! I highly recommend these guys as they are the experts in their field. We can't wait to see how beautiful they will look!

Jason the owner showed up when he said he was. Jason asked me what i wanted done before he started so we would be one the same page.I pointed out the trees that had limbs and branches close to the roof and asked him to cut and trimmed them. He then instructed his helper john on what needed to be done. They both proceeded with the task at hand. Jason and John not only did what I asked them to do. They went above and beyond the tree trimming. Jason cut and trimmed the neighbors hawkthornes that were hanging over my fence line.John meanwhile trimmed limbs that were close to damaging the roof on my shed and pergola.After all the trimming and cutting was done they picked up and hauled away branches and limbs. They used a power blower to clear all the small stuff off my deck. He did the same with my front porch and driveway. He also swept the street in front of my house as he was leaving.Very pleased with work. Will definitely use him again. I had my trees trimmed many times before, no one has ever done as good a job as City Tree Service.

Jason Grube and his crew arrived late, but I had no problem with that because it was very windy & cold this morning. He arrived at 11:15 AM and completed the job at 2:15 PM. My wife told him what she wanted done, and I discussed the costs of what she wanted. We agreed that I already paid Angie's List $199 and that came with $400 worth of Tree service. With the extra work that my wife wanted, we agreed to add another $200 and that made the total cost of $399. It was a fair price and they did such a great job & had such cheerful dispositions, that we tipped the crew another $100! We will always use City Tree Service for all our Tree Service needs in the future!

Not only did they do this work to my satisfaction, they cut and stacked the usable logs for firewood and discarded the brush part of the limb. While on the roof I asked them to do a cursory exam of the shingles and their status- since the home inspector had not given me an "age of the roof".( The roof appeared to have about 10 more years of life. Hooray!). They noted an area to "watch" and pointed it out to me. This was all new information to me and facts I needed to know about the house I was about to purchase. When you call the office, Jeanette ( owner's wife)answers and goes over and above to get you a commitment via a return phone call within an hour. The owner is knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and kind in assessing and suggesting what needs to be done and what could enhance the value of your property. All the workers seemed to like what they were doing, got along well and performed as a finely-oiled team. This company provides service that shows concern for the needs of its customers, does this in a timely manner, and charges reasonable rates for it outstanding and satisfying service. Of course I am going to use them again in the near future to further trim up the trees in the yard. When a company goes over-and-beyond to provide the kind of service they characteristically do,, why wouldn't anyone want to call them???

I called and made an appointment for an estimate as the owner was scheduled for surgery and that had an effect on his schedule. The day I expected him for an estimate (his surgery was the next day) he showed up with his crew and insisted they would be able to complete the job that afternoon. This was certainly 'going the extra mile' as they had already completed another job the same day! They even called to make sure everything was ok after completing the job. Overall, I would use them again.
