I was out of town so the work was scoped and performed with authorization over the phone. The original request was to replace the faucet with a new one I purchased from Home Depot. When the plumbers arrived, they quoted $550 to install the new faucet set. This was way too high so I asked if they could simply replace the Moen cartridge and ensure no leaks. They said yes and would call me back with details. They called back and said it would be $226 to replace the cartridge. I knew the part was $22 from Home Depot so I asked why it would be so high. They began listing charges such as "service call fee (their shop is only 4 miles away)", "labor" "water shutoff fee" and "parts". I have never heard of a plumber charging "water shutoff" fee. I mean they are plumbers, that is what they do. That is like a truck driver charging a "steering fee". As I was out of town and we needed the shower operational, I authorized the repairs. I do not think that a repair should be nine-times the cost of the part. I do not believe I will be using Heaton again.

It was an emergency call and he responded quickly on a Saturday morning. He got the parts and fixed the pipe and the faucet in our bathroom.

Came out quickly and pool heater was hooked up and working in no time. Told me about coupon to print off and I saved $45. Fast and friendly. Would use again.

Mike is professional, courteous and very kind to explain what he is doing. He has not tried to "pressure sell" other services. Great to work with.

Mr. Heaton provided an initial bid on the telephone. After surveying the job, he prepared a written quote and coordinated the timing of the work with our tenant. The crew did a fine job.

We had a bad install of a tankless water heater by John Moore plumbing. Our tankless was showing problems after just 2 years. Mike came out and identified the problem. John Moore had capped off a condensation line which basically ruined our system over the 2 years --- he was able to get the water heater co to honor their warranty (even with the bad install) and then reinstall the new heater correctly. Mike always arrived on time and was always pleasant, professional and most importantly honest. He didn't try to sell us anything else anything new....no price gouging....on the mark pricing. He knows his trade and performs it well. Finding a good plumber has been challenging, but I think we found one FINALLY with Mike and Heaton Plumbing.

Very professional and meticulous at his craft. Excellent work. He replaced some galvanized pipes in kitchen. Was able to come and fix clogged drain after we had water flood in the utility room and was quick to respond when we explained we had out of town guests coming and could not use kitchen sink, dishwasher, etc. Very personable, fair in his work and trustworthy on repairs that are necessary. Would recommend him and will be using him for all our future plumbing needs.

They did a good job, precleaning and the installed the faucet, it doesn't leak. In fact I have a cleaner that I now knew he is a special cleaner on granite that cleans up water mineral deposit, so he explained me what to use at home, what not to use at home. I would use them again.

He did a good job cleaning of the deposits on the kitchen counter before he installed it after he had removed the old leaking faucet.
