Description of Work: We bought the service from Angies list over a month ago agreeing that we would be returning to set an appointment...When back in Austin, called angies list and Carpet solutions and aged on a time on 2pm Sat the 12th.....Angies list confirmed the time and nothing was heard from Carpet Solutions.....Called Carpet Solutions and Angies list at 4pm and could not leave a message at Carpet Solutions.....Angies List agreed to get in touch with Carpet Solutions and let us know the outcome....We have not heard a time or a reason that they were a "no show"....I have a receipt for a Visa Card and have had no communication from either and it is 9:00pm Monday the 14th....We have family arriving tomorrow at 5:00 for a week and we were forced to mop the floors ourselves....I will be interesting to see the next communication and the reason for the lack of communication and no service.......

Description of Work: I originally scheduled for September 7. I was called on September 6 by Claude Odell's wife to say that he was sick and could not come. She said that I should call him to reschedule, which I did. The reschedule was for September 11 @ 3:30. He never showed up. No communication from him of any kind. He just did not show up. My husband and I had moved furniture to get ready for him and spent the afternoon waiting. Really poor and unprofessional service.

Description of Work: Mr Carpet Solutions was very thorough and worked quickly. He did everything we asked him to do and treated the carpet with a pet solution because we have 3 dogs. He was very pleasant to work with. We certainly will use Carpet Solutions again and recommend him to our friends.

We had difficulty scheduling, and I feel I was working around his schedule more than he was accommodating mine. On the day of the appointment, he did not call or show up.

+ -1 morePerfect! Brandon is the sole owner/operator of this business. He cares about his work and his customer's satisfaction. It shows. Brandon and I walked the house beforehand and identified things that could and could not be treated. For instance my teenage daughter spilled paint on the floor in her room and nail polish or something in the bathroom. Needless to say, these are not things that can be steam cleaned. Expectations are important and Brandon set them well with me. He arrived on time and completed the job with a final inspection from me. I would hire him again without a second thought!

+ -1 moreThe communication was really bad. He knew I had family coming into town and I needed the work done, he said he would be here Friday at five. They never showed up at all and I never received a call or email ahead of time. I called and called and had no response, Angie's List eventually got a hold of them and they told Angie's List that they had a family emergency. It would have been nice to have some heads up that they were not even going to show.

We foster dogs and have our carpets cleaned frequently. Brandon knew exactly what to do to treat pet stains. Our carpets now look and feel brand new. We couldn't be happier with the quality of his service, his quick work, and his friendly demeanor. We will DEFINITELY use Carpet Solutions again!!!
