02 Kool Refrigeration & A/C

Saturday evening the AC went out. Tried to find someone who could come out with no success. Found O2 Cool. They responded to the request immediatel by phone and agreed to come out. The work was performed on the aging AC unit fast and at a very resonable price. They are my go-to from now when I need service. When the existing unit is replaced, they will be doing it.

If I could rate them a 5+ I would. Our air conditioning stopped working on a Friday night with a house full of guest expected on Saturday evening. We have American Home Shield and they could not get anyone out until Monday. We tried several companies we had used in the past and no one works on the weekend. I decided to to try HomeAdvisor. They asked the question if I needed service immediately? I answered yes. No sooner had I sent in the service request and the phone rang. He had two other service calls but he was out to house in early afternoon and the problems. He could have charge us a large service and we would have gladly paid it because we were desperate. He also took the time to explain about air conditioner and the different manufactures. I know he will be our first call in the future. We are planning on moving in a few years to build a new home and I have add him to my list of contractors to call.

My air conditioner was not working , I called 02KR and they came out the same day and fixed my problem, believe me I could not be happier on a hot day to have service so fast. Kudos to 02Kool Refrigeration.

The owner immediately responded to my home advisor request and kept in constant contact regarding scheduling! He did a thorough check of the AC unit and took time to explain everything to me! I plan on using this company for any future HVAC needs!!

We are pleased as punch. Chris called a day ahead and was able to send out James to fix the A/C that same day. Courteous, knowlegale, fast and affordable repair. Who Hoo!

Customer service excellent. A human answered the phone for my first phone call. Chris was working in a nearby town and would come out to see why my heat pump failed in a few hours. He arrived. A no nonsense guy, he identified the problem quickly. He stated our 12-17 year old heat pump needed to be replaced. We had been told that last year. Our unit was becoming a recurring problem so we decided to accept the replacement recommendation. Here is where we got in trouble. His crew came out and disconnected our unit and began installing a new one. At this point I was told that the new unit was not a heat pump. It was a different kind of air/heat unit. A heat pump would cost over $1500 more. I panicked since I know nothing about this topic. I over reacted and accused the installer of a "bait and switch". They stopped work and were very upset (maybe as much as I was) We saw that we had not asked for clarification, model, type and any other info about the new unit before work began. We were convinced that this was not a deliberate scam. Chris explained that he evaluated what we needed and offered what he thought we should have. Neither one of us mentioned the words, "heat pump" at that time. I just assumed replace would install a heat pump. Take note-ASSUME NOTHING-get everything in writing before work begins. I think Chris and the o2 Kool Refrigeration & A/C company is a good company. I trusted Chris and saw he had a hard working accomplished crew. Our unit is working real well and we are grateful for the prompt service in a high demand time.

My AC system went out on a weekend called lots of other companies and they couldnt come but I needed my AC fixed because I have epilepsy and when I called o2 kool refrigeration and AC they didn't turn me down and they came the same day price was reasonable and very good customer service I would recommend this company to anyone.

The owner of 02 Kool called right after I made the appointment and asked if I would like him to come that day. I was ecstatic. He came out and checked everything out, fixed some wires and didn't charge me a penny. I'll definitely call him when I need service again.

Chris was amazing! He came the same day my AC broke and fixed the problem in 15 minutes. Friendly and knowledgeable. 5 stars!!

Chris was able to make it out same day, diagnosed the problem in a few minutes and got our AC system back up and running. He also checked pressures and levels to make sure no other repairs were needed. Very professional and helpful!

good & prompt service

Our ac was not cooling so i called another company that we usually use. They did not answer in the evening and did not have an answer machine. I called again in the morning and no answer again. I called 02Kool and Refrigeration and AC and they answered and said that they would be out in the afternoon and would call when they were about 30 minutes out. I received the call and they were out at the time they said they would be. They replaced the part that needed replacing and got it up and running but the unit was about 23 years old. Chris said that it should be good for now but we might concider replacing the unit because of the age and condition of the unit. (The compressor was rusting out). He said it was up to us that he didnt want to pressure us. If we decided to replace the unit there would be no charge for the repair or service call that day. We decided to go ahead and replace the unit and he left...without getting paid anything. We set up a day for the unit to be replaced and again he said he would give us a call when he was on the way out. Got the call and they were out and replaced the unit. They were all very friendly and they protected the floors as they were carrying things in and out. Was VERY satisfied with their work and service. Would definately call them again and recommend them.

Response time was within an hour and on Sunday. Customer service and products top of the line.

I can't speak enough about Chris and his crew. James was awesome from the initial meeting to the completed work. O2 Kool will always be my go to A/C company. They are fair, quick and efficient.

After working until 11:30pm Friday night, I returned home to no A/C. I checked HomeAdvisor early Saturday morning hoping someone would be available. 02 Kool answered and fit me in by noon. They found the problem, replaced a part and I had air by 1pm. They explained everything and were friendly and fast. I highly recommend this company.

This was such an unexpectedly pleasant experience. The customer service was great, and Chris did a great job upon arrival. He had our problem repaired in minutes and extended an amazing deal for the service. I cannot recommend this company enough, and I will definitely utilize O2 Kool for all of my future AC needs.

I was impressed with Chris and crew's customer service, punctuality, work ethics and speed of service. Their knowledge and willingness to share their knowledge was praiseworthy. My unit motor was failing but James replaced the motor to tide me over until the whole system was replaced. The whole crew's professionalism yet friendly attitude was noteworthy. I am very satisfied with their work and highly recommend them.
