My AC stopped suddenly so I called 02 cool and JC came out and checked out the system completely did the standard maintenance and discovered that a Gecko had got into the control panel and committed suicide by electrocution so he cleaned up the carcass And hit the switch AC unit came right on.

The technician (JC) braved Georgetown floods to get to my home in Sth AUSTIN. Quickly diagnosed and fixed problem free of charge! Also ran through some options for replacing my ac unit which is 29 years old and will probably have to be replaced pretty soon. He spelled out all the options for me and gave me cost estimates for each. When I need a new unit I’m definitely calling these people back!

I've used 2 home warranty outfits (American Home Shield and First American) for 13+ years, and have had nothing but issues with this system. Today I didn't use a warranty company and went direct with O2Kool, and they diagnosed the cause of symptom that's been plaguing me for years. Once or twice every year I needed a recharge. Turns out, I have mixed parts, 410a compressor and RJ22 coils/valve, the rj22 coils can't handle the higher pressure of 410a. No warranty backed tech visit ever pointed that out, and only once were the coils replaced (don't know if it was rj22 prior or not). JC @ O2kool nailed it (un-prempted he discovered the mix rated parts)

Came out and did a free inspection. Turned out to be an extremely simple repair, they explained everything to us and quickly got our A/C up and running again. Next time things start heating up, we'll be sure that we call them.

Installed AC. Had to return 3 times to finish to my satisfaction.

The first two times they came out, they made electrical repairs and did not charge. By the 3rd trip, they determined the electrical problem resulted from a fault in my A/C system and replaced the entire system for a very reasonable price. I am very pleased with their work.

Knowledgeable and professional

The service and advise provided from O2Kool is right to the point. They added two pounds of old Freon and the chraged price is most reasonable compared with my old AC repair from my other old house. They did not try to sell anything that is not necessary, since I am a pretty DIY guy and know AC and regular home maintenance pretty well. Would suggest any AC need, use their service.

I chose this company because of positive the reviews and the amount of reviews. The technician, JC, came out came out was very courteous and friendly. He repair was fairly quick while making sure both heat and air conditioning worked after he left. He did a great job! I would recommend him.

JC arrived promptly. He was friendly and courteous and finished the job quickly. The service fee was a bit too high based on my past experience with the same time of repair. If it were not for the price I would have given them 5 stars all across the board.

Executive summary: JC the service manager evaluated my house and system and without a laptop computer gave me a quote to replace my entire AC including ducts for 70% less than competitors. He selected a unit that gave me the most bang for my buck. The crew was professional and got everything including the ducts installed in a little more than half a day. I highly recommend O2Kool. Details: Of course we talked to several companies. Typically they would look at the house and attic, and chit chat a good bit. Then would pull out a laptop and fiddle with it for half an hour. After an excruciating time, they would produce a couple of ridiculously high quotes. If I didn't say it, they would say that's more than I want to pay. Then they would knock that down by about 30% to produce a very high quote. If you find yourself in this situation, call O2KOOL immediately! The key is don't let them sell you a unit higher than the minimum required efficiency (SEER rating). The price goes up fast the higher the SEER. If you are replacing an old unit, a 14 SEER will be a big improvement.
