They claimed and charged me for two pounds of Freon but there wasn't any in it and also labor and said that it wouldn't work and gave a quote to replace the unit. And the other one that was supposed to be serviced he didn't give me the pound of freon.

The Tech was ontime and pleasant. As far as I know he did the job requested, occasionally letting me know what he was doing. The invoice notes that the a/c is cooling fine. He said it didn't need any freon and his marks on the invoice checklist indicate that all is working well with the system pulling 8.6 Amps and 115 volts - Frankly, I have no idea if these are good, adequate or great numbers...;-)The only real quirky thing was at the end he tried to sell me some metal tips to be installed on the ends of the freon lines for something like 2 for $30. He only had one information sheet and mentioned that it's a safety feature limiting anyone's access to try 'huffing' the freon from the outside unit of the a/c system. He also mentioned that only a qualified/certified a/c tech would be able to remove the tips. I simply let him know that I prefer not to make 'on the spot' decisions about anything even at that 'low' price. Plus, now was not a time for me to stray from my alloted househould expenditures. I figure it was a low-level, off the books way for him to make a little extra cash... Whatever, no sale here!

Metro Express Services showed up two hours after the three hour window they had given me. When they did show up they did not bring the proper materials with them to make the repairs I had requested and said it was to close to 5 o'clock to do the repairs so they rescheduled with me. I had used them in the past and I have not had any previous issues with them. After this last visit they have totally lost my business.

For the first couple of years, they did quite well and would notify me before they came. When I had someone else come out to service my unit, they noticed that the unit was leaking, which was something that MES never notified me about.

I really liked the salesman, he was very thorough and the crew came out and installed the system was very professional.

He appeared late, had been drinking. Instead of my air, he went in my attic, loosened my hose so it would leak, and called me up, told me I need a new heat air conditioner. Then he sad I needed 2 units of freon, which I doubted, and kept putting pressure on me to buy. Even put on report that I refused. After he left I called someone else. You could easily see that he had not touched my air conditioner. He serviced it and would not charge me. I wrote a letter to BBB. I got a letter from the company saying they had done nothing wrong, and offered me a free check up. I refused. I checked BBB later, and they did not even have a record of a complaint.

I went on Angie's list, selected several companies, interviewed them and selected Metro. I was impressed with the professionalism of the salesperson and the answers he provided to my questions. He indicated that the company would send out 4 persons to do the install. He called me the day before to remind me. The supervisor of the job called me the day of install to let me know they were coming. They arrived on time and divided their efforts between the two units (air conditioning and heat pump). They promised 4 persons - 5 did the work (that's a good thing). They finished the work in one day, as promised by the salesperson. I was impressed with the way they performed their work.

The technician called us to let us know he was on his way to our rental property and he arrived at the designated time. He offered, via telephone, the option of installing a new standard heater or hooking up the propane tank which was already on the property. We opted for hooking up the propane tank and he was very efficient if performing the job then they took a credit card over the phone with no fuss. I must also remark on how reasonable they were in their pricing. We will definitely be calling them again.

With the exception of a minor installation problem, everything went great. Follow up todate has been great.

Wasted half a day of my life, wish I could charge a service fee for waiting around for them

initially the install was on 4/26 - which they did install the air/heating unit, but was very unhappy with the dryer vent system they used - basically was one you could get at a home supply store - and they were not able to install air-return due to limited space in the wall upstairs. however when I informed Darrell of the issues - they were resolved on 4/30, and overall I was very pleased with their work.

They did the work within a day. They are very responsive.

My 13 year old air conditioner just stopped cooling last June. I had one company come out to inspect. They added freon. Two days later the system stopped cooling again. I called M.E.S. A representative came out the same day, inspected and found coil damage. I was impressed with his knowledge and with him showing me the actual damage which the other company had not done. He explained their process for installation and financing. I went the six month same as cash route. The next morning two workmen came out and worked seemingly tirelessly to remove the old system and install a new one. They were very professional. They arrived at about 8A.M and were done by 4P.M. The company offered free maintenance, spring and fall for the first two years and called early in the season to schedule maintenance. I was very impressed.

They were very nice and professional. They also told us that the furnace another company had put in was far too small for our house. This was good advice and they didn't try to sell us a new furnace. We thought their price was very fair. They even offered to finance it, but we didn't do that.
