We were adopting a new dog and needed a fence on the left side of our property. Darren came out right away, gave us an estimate, and the work was underway! His crew is amazing and very respectful. Had a few issues but in the end the fence is beautiful! I appreciate this company very much!

The overall poor communication from this company and lack of follow-through on what we were promised would be taken care of, made this experience and process extremely stressful and frustrating. According to the signed contract the completion of the patio, install of stone edging, and staining the concrete would take 4 days. The work began back in mid-May 2020, and nearly 4 months later we are still awaiting issues with the work to be resolved. We feel that we have been more than patient with frequent delays, workers not showing up, and non-responses. Not once did we ever rush the process, but we did ask detailed questions on multiple occasions that either were partially answered or took sometimes 2 weeks to get a reply but no resolution. Additionally, on multiple occasions, other larger jobsâ were mentioned by the owner, which means our situation was not a priority and that was the case the entire time. There was an issue with the original stain on the concrete, which we were told by the owner that he had never seen this happen before. The issue with the stain arose after we had paid the contracted price in full, and we still have a cracked and hollow section of the stonework that needs to be corrected. There were many excuses or reasons along the way as to why things were delayed, but honestly, none of them was our problem. We even provided additional time for them to get things in order, and were out of town a full 8 days and were under the impression things would be taken care of during that time. This would mean a full month to prepare and plan to take care of the issues was available and we believed based on text messages this was good to go. Two days before we were scheduled to be back in town, we received a text message that the best option at that point was to refund us the money we paid for the stain. Basically meaning we would be left with an incomplete job to figure out someone else to correct, and a contract we had fully paid for being unfulfilled. The refund option was not sufficient for us, and we were finally told that the main worker had ghosted the owner and could not get anyone out to finish the job. Eventually, there was another crew brought out to correct the stain issue, but when Darren came to our house that day, he was unwilling to listen to options the crew had suggested or pretty much anything I had to say for that matter. It was disrespectful and unprofessional in how we were being treated in our own backyard. The crew knew nothing about the cracked and hollow stone and again we were told it would be taken care of but the owner needed more time. We followed up on that issue, and after two weeks of radio silence were told over text that there is not anything wrong with the stone being hollow because it sounded hollow did not mean it was bad. There are cracks in the mortar, which is a known issue to the owner and we were told it would be fixed. Now it is of no concern and is now being told he will have to work it. Sadly this has been the norm throughout the entire 3-4 months and has added unnecessary stress and what comes off as personal tension in what is supposed to be a professional transaction. Overall, we fully regret ever hiring this company to begin with and do not recommend the business, as it is not worth the time and especially money.

Darren came out to do an estimate on the day I sent in the request. The fence he and his crew built exceeded my expectations. I also appreciated how they hauled away the old fence. I will hire CenTex Fencing and Outdoor Living again.

Darren was on time and monitored the project very closely. It ultimately turned out much better than anticipated. Price was very competitive as well. I do plan to hire him and his team for future projects.

Darren and his team went beyond expectations! I gave him an idea of what I wanted for a patio cover and he took it from there. They were on time, he stopped by often to monitor progress, and his price were very competitive. I'd definitely recommend his team to anyone one and I myself plan to hire him for future projects.

The price was the best of three bids. They are professional, responsive and efficient. They made a fence for us and it looks great.

As far as the quality of work I am very pleased but the fence was supposed to have the posts on the inside but they were installed on the outside, one of the corners was supposed to have an L shape to go around a tree but they put a diagonal piece in and right up against the tree and even trimmed part of the fence top to make it fit. Lastly they forgot to install 3 post caps (metal post) they dropped off 3 so I could put them on which I didn t mind but they did not match they rest. I would use Centex again but I would make sure I stayed on top of the installation because there was a communication breakdown between the salesman and the installers. I did ask the installers several questions but I feel there was a communication breakdown there also...all in all I m happy but I could have been happier.
