Jerry came out to look at the toilet. It was a valve that needed to be replaced which he did. While he was here, he discovered a crack in one of my sprinkler system control pipes that an actual sprinkler system company did not. (A neighbor asked if he was here to fix the leak on my driveway from this system, so he asked if he could just look at the controller area.) While they do not do sprinkler repairs, because this was a control pipe, he had the necessary materials to replace it. He even showed me how to winterize my own system so I don't have to hire someone else. Jerry is a fantastic representation of The Katy Plumbing Co. I would call them first every time!

We have used the Katy Plumbing Company several times and every time they exceeded our expectations. At 10:00 pm water started to leak in from the bathroom ceiling. We called them, they came promptly and found that the hot water heater had sprung a leak. They replaced the water heater that night. They wore " shoe covers" and covered the whole of carpets with drop cloths. They took real professional pride in their work.They also could not have been more polite or proper and the price was fair.

What an amazing company. Professional courteous and competent. Hard to find nowadays.

After having two different plumbing companies across 45 days, the leak was still there and yes I was charged by both. Katy Plumbing came out on the day I called and had the leak found and repaired in under 45 min. on a scale of 1-10 I give them a 100.

I made the appointment on a Monday by phone for Wednesday, I was told the plumber would show up between 10am and 1pm. 1 pm comes and I've heard nothing from Katy Plumbing so I call to find out what is the issue. Apparently they've lost my appointment along with all of my information so they have to take it all down again. Fortunately, a plumber is finishing a job and can be at my home shortly. Approximately 1:55, a plumber arrives, I show him what I need to have done and he goes to the truck to work up an estimate. Meanwhile, my neighbor from across the street runs over to tell me about how this company ripped him off to the tune of $7k recently and he tells me to beware. I call my husband with the recent development and we decide on reasonable fees for these services. The estimate comes in, $289 for the ice maker (this is a stand alone model) to connect the drain to the existing drain under my sink, $350 to seat the toilet, and $495 for the washer faucet. I decline everything but the icemaker because for those prices, we can do it ourselves and I REALLY wanted my ice maker asap. About 10 minutes into the process, the plumber calls me down and explains that he needs a longer pipe under the sink to make the connection plus a shorter strainer basket in the sink to fit it. That will be an extra $200. I told him that's fine, just get me my ice maker working today. He hooks it all up, I use the coupon on their website, and pay $464 to connect an icemaker, sounds crazy I know but I really like ice. I ask "so is it working now?" and the plumber says he didn't know because he didn't test it. So I hit the "on" button and I hear the water flow. I realize it's gonna take at least 45 min to get some ice and he leaves. 2 hours later, I see water coming out from under the icemaker. I look around to see if I can tell where it's coming from, is it the machine, or is it the plumbing job? I cannot tell so I turn it off and ask my husband to take a look when he arrives home from work. Did I mention this was Valentines Day and he was taking me out to dinner? We come home from dinner and he pulls the ice maker out from under the cabinet to inspect where all this water is coming from, it's all over the floor, the drywall and the cabinet. What he discovered is that Katy Plumbing took the vent hose and connected it to the drain hose and put this Frankenstein contraption on the vent port only of the ice maker, not the drain. So water that drains out of the ice maker just goes all over inside the cabinet. I called Katy Plumbing that night and they offer to send me an on call tech to fix it but by then, my husband has figured out how to properly connect it so we didn't need them. The next day, he calls Forest Johnson at Katy Plumbing about the problem we experienced. Forest has to investigate, well after a day of investigation, my husband calls him back and they agreed to refund the ice maker connection part of the bill for $289. So I ended up paying $175 for the new strainer basket and drain pipe under the sink. I really feel like all of these Angie's List recommendations let me down. Now, not only my neighbor had a horrible experience with Katy Plumbing, I did too. By the way, 3 days later, I have yet to see the credit hit my credit card for the mistake.

I had a problem with sewer gas coming from one of our toilets. We called our warrantee company and they sent out a plumber. He told off the toilet and put a new thicker wax seal down and put it back on. If anything the smell got worse. I had him back and all he would say was the toilet is fine and he couldn't do anything else. It was obvious he didn't want to take the toilet off again as the screws are in the back on that model making them hard to get to. The warrantee company just said they don't cover smells and the toilet was fine. Meanwhile, it has been weeks with a bathroom I can't use!!! I then heard about The Katy Plumbing Company on Nextdoor and called them. They got Mark and Ryan out to look at it. They took off the toilet again and said the seal the other plumber put down had fallen into the pipe in the floor so sewer gas was getting out. It was a one piece toilet that has the screws in the back and very hard to work on and with the way the pipe in the floor was set up, very hard to get in the right place when putting down. We already had a new toilet in a box upstairs waiting to be put in another bathroom so Mark put that one on instead. Now we are all set!! They even fixed a problem I was having both my kitchen faucet!! Frankly, my husband is glad we switched toilets as he never liked the old one. If only the other plumber had explained the problems he was having, he could have put on the other toilet. Instead, he just left me with no help at all!! I plan on calling The Katy Plumbing Company with any other plumbing problems. You do get what you pay for!!!! Thanks again Mark and Ryan

I have been using The Katy Plumbing Company for at least the last 5 years and they have been excellent. The staff in the office and their technicians are always friendly, courteous and professional. The technicians always show up on time and are available to answer any questions I have. I highly recommend The Katy Plumbing Company.

Each experience we have had with these guys has been great! Pricing always seems fair too. We have had Jacob both times to handle our issues and he has been thorough, explains things well whenever we have questions, has never tried to up-sell us and has been very professional, highly recommend this company :)

Joe was awesome! He explained everything that needed to be done, presented the cost, and followed through on the work. No surprises like you might get with other plumbing companies! I plan to use this plumbing company again and ask for Joe. Great local company!

Joe was amazing. The remote was really stuck in there so he had to try all manner of things to get it out, all while kindly putting up with my 3 year old's incessant questions. Very friendly and super efficient service and we'll definitely call him again. (hopefully NOT for the same problem in future!!!) He's a lifesaver!!

Katy Plumbing replied to our Angie's List message promtly. The tech came out to give us a quote and discussed our needs. It was a fair price so we scheduled the work. This was a turn key project for the new water heater, installation, the electrician to do the wiring and the city inspection. The electrician arrived first and relocated the cut off box, runing conduit to the new water heater location. Then Katy Plumbing arrived soon after with the new water heater and performed a flawless install. They installed new water lines with insulation from the existing entry point to the new location. The new water heater was placed upon a new stand exactly where we wanted it placed. We are very happy with our Katy Plumbing experience.

Just moved into new used home; garbage disposal stopped working and I had some other concerns. Serviceman had maintenance offer that gave me 20% off my service call and did a full home inspection in which he fixed some problems. I was very happy with the service I received and will use them again.

Terrible! Dispatchers lied to us over the phone that they carried our part in stock. Nope! The plumber arrived and tried to blame it on our water heater brand and tried to convince us we needed a new water heater instead (NOPE, we only needed a $125 part!). After waiting almost a week for their "overnight" delivery from UPS to arrive, they FINALLY tried to call UPS to track it down. 6 days now without hot water and these guys continue to lie! Lazaro (the actual plumber) tried to blame it again on our water heater brand (American) when they actually sent the part as scheduled. It was Katy Plumbing who didn't follow up with UPS in a timely manner to get out part! We went with CINCO RANCH PLUMBING instead! Brett and his son, John were amazing.

Jose of The Katy Plumbing Company was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable and gave me a reasonable quote. On the day of the repair, it was discovered that the water leak was actually under the slab of our house. Jose requoted the job (again, very reasonable considering the work involved) and came back and completed the job. I am very happy with the work done. I highly recommend The Katy Plumbing Company.

Excellent work. I had to reschedule multiple times with Katy Plumbing due to various problems related to flooding and access and they were always very understanding. Once they were onsite both Dallas and Aaron were great; they explained everything in detail and went above and beyond what they had to do. I would happily refer them to anyone and will continue to use them.

It was like $700 including the cost of the toilet. It’s not cheap, but it’s fair. They’re very good. Yes, I would use them again.
