The plumber arrived earlier than his "window ", which I was appreciative of. Based on my description of the problem he noted the area of the disposal that had corroded. Told me it needed to be replaced and explained why it wasn't repairable. My thought was, "I don't have time to shop for a replacement ". Fortunately, Katy Plumbing keeps disposals stocked on their trucks.problem saved and in a timely manner.

Fast, prompt, on time, courteous, professional, and high quality. They probably are not the cheapest, but you can rely on them to get the job done right the first time.

When my DIY attempt to fix a leaky toilet failed, Katy Plumbing swooped in and fixed the toilet and updated the plumbing inside. I gave a "B" because after he left the chain fell off a couple of times and i had to go in and crimp the chain on. No big deal though.

We had this quoted from them in Aug last year and decided to hold off. Rang them again in April 2015 and they referenced the old quote in their system. The scope of the job had changed slightly, so Forrest came out to quote it the next day. We discussed the changes and he provided a very competitive quote for the water softener. The price for the Carbon filter was $1800 vs $500 in the old quote. He spoke to the office and they agreed to honor the originally quoted price. Forrest arrived the next day and installation was fully completed. On his original installation one of the cylinders was not vertical, so I asked him to correct it and he did. He showed me ow the system worked before he left and cleaned up the worksite. I asked for instruction manuals and he didn't have any, which is about the only downside. Overall, we got exactly what we wanted, for the agreed price and it was very efficiently and properly installed. A good experience.

I had called on the previous Friday knowing that I would need their services the next coming Wednesday to inspect our plumbing when the foundation company finished their work and before the tunnels were filled back up. I told the office person that I needed an inspection and hydrostatic testing done. When they showed up on Wednesday they said they didn't know why they were there and stated that they couldn't do the testing that day because they didn't have the equipment. So I had them fix the 2 leaks and scheduled them to come back the next day to do the testing which they charged me $795 to do. When they came back the next day they did only the camera inspection and said that there were too many areas of separation to do a hydrostatic pressure test and that it would be a waste of money. The charge that day was another $795. I was told by Bryan that he would write up a couple of different bids for what it would cost me to get it repaired or replace the whole system and send them to me via email on Friday. Friday came and went with no such emails. I called the office Friday afternoon and left a message about this. I called the office again on Monday to tell them I still had not received any bids. Since the completion of my foundation repair is currently on hold I had no choice but to find another company to do business with. The new company had to re-repair one of the leaks that they said that they repaired on the first day that they were here.

It turnes out my garbage disposal was leaking. He had a new garbage disposal in his truck. It was a nice brand. He installed it that day, within three hours.

They came out on a sat. on short notice, replaced the two water heaters that day, and added a safety shut off valve. They were very knowledgeable of their business and competent.

We have never had a bad expierence with any of the techs with Katy Plumbing. Today James did an excellent job, very neat and offered tips on several different plumbing topics.

Our house is only four years old and this was the second time our hot water heater went out. Our heater went out over the super bowl weekend so we had been without water for two days before we could get someone over. We had the hot water heater repaired exactly one year prior by a well known plumber service in this area. I found The Katy Plumbing Company by doing some research on Angie;s List first. This company is the only company that the amazing reviews were consistent. I called this company early Monday morning, and they were very busy and said they could not get to us that day. I explained to them that we are an elderly couple, ill, and really needed the hot water. The receptionist was very understanding, and made an exception for us, which I am eternally grateful. The receptionist called me and told me she would be sending me a photo of the person that was coming to do the repairs. (I never received the photo). The repairman arrived within 30 minutes of her call. He introduced himself, we explained the problem to include the work we had done just one year previous. The repairman's named is Dennis. Dennis went into the attic, came back down and told us exactly what was wrong with the hot water tank. We were also able to determine that the previous repair company lied 2 us and took us for a lot of money. Please stay away from the yellow pages, go to Angie's List you will be s much happier. We are new to this area, so when the hot water heater went out last year, we used the yellow pages and selected a named we had seen advertised so much on T.V. (We have decided to sue this previous company, principal only). We also had a leak in our master bathroom toilet which had been there for a month and we just tolerated because we were afraid 2 call another plumber. We discussed this problem with Dennis. He asked if he could look at the area, and give us a quote along with repairing it that day. We said of course. Daniel repaired the problem which relieved so much stress for our family. He discussed the problem, told us what was required to repair the problem, we agreed and the repair was done. He also checked all the plumbing inside and outside the house. He noticed small problems with the other two toilets and fixed them as well. He was adopted before he left our home. One of the really important things to me as the female of the house is how so many company repair persons just waltz into your home with their boots/shoes on with no regard for your carpet, or in my case expensive throw rugs from around the world. Dennis walked in with covers on his shoes. That showed respect for my home and I really appreciated it more than I can say. In closing, if you need any plumbing work done, take it from me ( a very tough task master) do not hire anyone until you have given this company a chance. Larry E. B. and Delores

Katy Plumbing did a fantastic job! They quickly responded via email and set up an appointment a few days later. Mark came to do the work at the time promised and was very courteous and professional. The work was completed efficiently and was of very high quality. We would Katy Plumbing Co again in a heart beat!

Experience was excellent. Technician arrived on time, was extremely knowledgeable and walked me through the new regulations for water heaters, gave me options for water heaters including tankless water heaters and associated pricing. Cost was a big factor for me and that was the only reason I did not go with Katy Plumbing, who were more expensive than some other quotes that I received.

It was all good. It is working fine.

Katy Plumbing showed up on time and called to let me know they would be there within a certain time. Their work was very professional and did a very good job. I would use again and actually have another job scheduled with them to replace the garbage disposal and clear a drain on 2/6/2015. I thought the price was a little high but it has been a number of years since I had to replace a hot water heater. Otherwise they did an excellent job.

They are very reasonable, have a lot of integrity, very clean and neat. They didn't even leave a mess when they left. I think they are top notch. They do quality work.

Both experiences were great. The employees that showed up were very professional, clean cut, and knowledgeable. I had no discomfort at all allowing them into the house with just me and my daughter home. Scheduling was easy and expedient. They showed up on time and worked quickly. I would recommend them to anyone.

I first had another plumbing company out to look at the problem. It was the company that the builder used when building the house. Their plumber did not seem very knowlegable. He ended up calling his brother, another plumber, and over the phone had the idea that the wall had to be cut open so that the valve could be replaced. I did not want to do this unless it was truly necessary. Bae ed on Angie's List reviews I called the Katy Plumbing Company. They immediately scheduled me an appointment for the next day. Daniel arrived at the beginning of the appointment window and was extreme professional. We discussed the issue and he ventured that it was most likely the cartridge and he would replace It. What Daniel removed the cartridge he immediately checked inside of the pipe for any obstruction and found that the pipe was also clogged with what appeared to be old caulk. The previous company did not even look inside of the pipe. Daniel removed the caulk, flushed the pipe to clear any remains and replaced the cartridge and the tub is working again just fine. I will certainly use the Katy Plumbing Company again for any plumbing needs and I will request Daniel as my plumber.

This was first class service from initial contact to completion. Phone was answered promptly and rep understood the problem. Scheduling was easy and received follow up call when tech was on his way. Sorry that I don't remember who I talked to on the phone, but she was terrific! Technician Jose was on time and discovered leak quickly and started repair. As a project manager who deals with contractors everyday, I could not have been more impressed with Katy Plumbing. Thank you and keep up the great service!

We are,as suggested, waiting for more rain fall to find the real cause of leak. He will then return to fix it.

Appointment setting was easy and efficient; scheduling at a time that was convenient for me was no problem. The technician arrived on time; tested the old garbage disposal and determined that it needed to be replaced. They had the parts on hand. The garbage disposal was installed in no time! Great Service and the office called me a few weeks after just to ensure that i was happy and satisfied with the job.

The Plumber explained everything and then pointed out a leak in my water supply line to the house. Was actually early for the appointment. Very professional - explained everything that needed to be done and completed the job in minimal time. Pricing seemed to be a bit steep but you get what you pay for. Would use this contractor again.

I called Katy Plumbing after the first plumbing outfit messed up royally trying to come out and do the job (the driver was without his license and wallet and would not be allowed into our gated neighborhood....what contractor leaves home without his wallet)? Katy Plumbing was very nice on the phone and came out exactly when they said they would. They sent a picture of the fellow who was going to show up at my door. He came in and told me exactly what he was going to do, how long it was going to take, and how much. He was spot on with everything and even finished ahead of schedule. Top-notch customer service and I will definitely use them again when necessary, and recommend them to others. They were absolutely fantastic.

Company was responsive and friendly on the phone. The technician arrived promptly and was polite. The job took 2 1/2 hours and the labor charge was approximately $600! Over $200 an hour. Seriously?
