James Smith, master plumber with The Katy Plumbing Company, came in, gave an estimate, and completed the job (made more difficult by my prior efforts). While James knew what needed to be done, how to do, had all the correct tools on hand and not at the truck, it still took longer than estimated to get the nicked cartridge out. Importantly, the estimate was honored. I feel we got a good deal on the job. I very highly recommend The Katy Plumbing Company, and will use them again.

Thanks for getting someone here yesterday in this time of great need. Plumber Daniel did a super good job and a delightful asset to my day. My husband and I had been up since 3:00 AM worried with that gas leak. CENTERPOINT ENERGY showed up and turned the gas off and back on after your representative Plumber Daniel fixed the scary gas leak. Praise God!

Katy Plumbing determined that the leak was NOT in my line but the line adjacent to it belonging to my neighbor. They did not charge me for this and alerted my neighbors.

On November 4th, they sent me a letter saying they had cancelled all billing and that I had paid in full. I was therefore very happy with their service and how they handled themselves. They verified that everything was void and cancelled and now I feel better. They fixed all the problems very quickly and satisfied this customer!

Katy Plumbing arrived promptly as it just so happened they had a cancellation. The men were in control of the issue and got the job done thoroughly and at a reasonable rate. It was really great!

Excellent and very fast response. Cordial and very efficient service. Our attic was inundated with water because there was a leaking from the water heater. It was an emergency. We called them and their response was very fast. The technician was very efficient and polite. They repaired and solve the problem immediately. We know we can always count with Katy Plumbing. This was an emergency they came out I think it was memorial day. We called another company, they came out before the other company and they were very helpful they got us situated for the night and they were here the next morning with all the equipment that we needed and put in our water heater.

I called in as a new customer this morning. I spoke with Mandy who was able to give me an appointment for tomorrow, but said if a cancellation came up she would offer me the slot. She called later to say James had finished a job early and could be here in 20 minutes...yay! James was friendly and helpful. He went into the attic for a few minutes and gave me his opinion it was possibly environmental issues (not enough air circulation) which had caused the pilot light to go out. He suggested my options were to contact the roofer who had replaced the roof and wait to see if that fixed the problem, as he had managed to get the pilot light lit again. He explained and wrote down his reasoning as to why and how this could cause the problem. Other option was to go ahead and change out the coupling to rule that out. He went up and did a double check before he left and the pilot light was out again. We discussed it and I decided to go ahead with a new thermal coupling. There was no sales pitch or pressure to have the work done. He stayed in the attic to keep an eye on it for another 20 minutes after the repair to be certain the pilot light wasn't going out again. I would definitely use this company in the future for plumbing jobs. I am so well impressed by the whole experience.

The drain is in upstairs bath which houses the A/C overflow hose, This was the first question I was asked when I called in for service. I was given a 2 hour appt. window and told I would receive a phone call prior to arrival. Phone call was rec'd 10 minutes before my estimated window start time with the name of the person who would be coming. Nick assessed my problems, gave me an estimate, and offered a service agreement to save some money on items that I may want to address at some point. I chose the service agreement & he then assessed the whole house. He kindly pointed some out positives & items that were just fine and but also politely showed me as couple of things I to be aware of in the future. In fact, I opted to have him correct the leaking exterior hose bibs that I had been ignoring for too long. Nick is a very professional, knowledgeable nice young man.

Service was provided efficiently and pleasantly without any disruption. Will definitely use Katy Plumbing again.

Trey was delightful, honest and listened to all my concerns, only recommending things when I specifically asked him to. There was no "hard sell", the savings membership agreement was a great deal, the job was completed timely and neatly - even our dog loved Trey. Thanks for a top notch job and all your attention to detail in getting the job done. I appreciated especially that he pointed out how the plumbing in our house was 3 inch, but taken to 4 inches just below the floor level, and how the company that laid our tile previously had not bothered to caulk under the toilets when they removed them and laid the tile. We were extremely lucky that the new toilets covered the entire area. We will recommend and use Katy Plumbing again and again. Nice to know a good plumbing company that does not take you to the cleaners!! Thanks Trey!!!

I love Katy Plumbing. This is the second time I've used them. Their plumbers are very professional, honest and trustworthy. The first time out they installed two water heaters at a significant lower rate than that quoted by a 'national' company and with much better equipment than that offered by the local home improvement store. They did a fantastic job!!! This go round, I called them for a clogged sink and they quickly worked me into their end-of-day schedule despite the fact that they had no availability. The ladies that deal with customers are great ambassadors for the company as well..so friendly and helpful. Glad I found this company through the referral of Bill Anderson Air.. another fantastic local company.

Kurt was prompt (on a Sunday!) and quickly cleared a blockage in our exterior home sewer line overflow pipe, but then went the extra mile and used a camera to determine that a larger problem was afoot. He found that the main sewer line, which terminates in our backyard, was fully blocked with debris where it joined our home line. Kurt opened the manhole cover, accessed the junction and cleared a huge amount of debris out of the main line. By doing this, our home line finally drained fully. We found him to be knowledgeable, skilled and professional. We would highly recommend this company to others, they even gave our kids rubber duckies as a gift. :)

Daniel was very prompt and professional. He explained what he would do for us and also explained what would happen if he were unable to clear the toilet of the object. This allowed us to make a very informed decision, before having him proceed. We did have him try to dislodge the object from the toilet, which thank goodness, he was able to do. So, we did not have to have any major work done. Yes, I would recommend this business to friends and family.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE Very Professional Company ~ Fixed a leaking shower for us in about an Hour. Noticed some brown tint in the water when we turned everything back on. We took a look at the water heaters and did some research, no pressure to buy bit did a work up for new water heaters and/or join tankless. We will definitely work with The Katy Plumbing Company Again !
