Arrived at scheduled time. diagnosed problem and recommended repairs. returned next day with motor and completed repairs.

I had a pretty big leak in my pool that was causing a pretty quick loss of water. I had Texas Leaks come out and give an assessment of what would be causing the loss of water. They were able to pinpoint it pretty quickly to the spa section of my pool and after discussing options with me we decided to go underneath the concrete to identify and fix the leak as opposed to just capping the flow to the spa. Very quick and professional work done, pipe was repaired and water level has been very consistent the last couple of days since the repair has been made. Great service and excellent communication throughout.

David showed up on time, worked hard with his helper, stayed past his scheduled completion time and got everything done as we agreed. Office communicated via email and phone. David kept me informed all day long as he reached decision points or needed my feedback. Was very concerned that I was satisfied with all his work.

After having my pool resurfaced I started losing A LOT of water. I contacted these guys and explained the situation. They came the very next day as I was losing so much water. They quickly identified the problem but still proceeded to check to spend an extra 2 hours checking EVERYTHING just to make sure there were no other leaks. They gave me a lot of free advice and minor equipment (poxy putty so I can plug future holes, a basket etc.) at no extra charge. They initially quoted me a price of 350 but with the Angie's list discount they were going to charge 300. After seeing how small my pool was they further reduced their price to 275 and i was completely prepaired to pay 300. These guys were amazing and I would recomend them to anyone. I'm a first time home buyer and I'd even say they are the most professional/economical/etc. trades men I have dealt with.

We had some settlement issues with the house in the past year and it appears to have had an effect on the pool as well. There was separation from the skimmer and the pool wall which was causing undo strain on the pump. The pump started to leak as well which was causing me to have to fill the pool every other day or the pump wouldn't operate. I finally called David in a fit of panic when the pump wouldnt' turn on at all one day. He made time to come out that morning and fixed it all in under an hour. I was extremely impressed with their professional manner and the speed of their work. I would definitely (and will) call on them in the future. Thank you!

This leak was not an emergency, and David was able to come within a couple of days. He arrived on time and got down to work. .All possible leak areas were tested (by diving underwater) and the culprit was located: A broken return line within the pool wall (the worst place possible). This would require replacing the return line through the pool wall..This major repair could have been performed while he was still on location, but we elected to wait and consider a more extensive renovation to fix other pool issues. David reviewed the entire pool and system and generated a quote for all work we requested and needed. .Throughout the entire leak detection process and renovation discussion, all thoughts and ideas were clearly presented. Ask any question, you'll get answers. .David was generous enough to leave one of his plugs in the return line, so that we could continue circulating the pool without water loss, until we decided on our repair options.

The crew arrived on time and began draining the pool. Repairs began immediately on the broken return line, broken skimmer, and backwash valve. David pressure tested these repairs to ensure they were leak free. .A multi-colored LED light was installed along with new underground conduit (replacing old steel conduit). .Roland headed up the other pool repairs. Tiles & coping were removed & replaced. Multiple, long cracks in the pool were discussed by the team and a laborious plan was put into place deal with those. Continual long rains during the week hampered progress but work was performed whenever possible and no 'shortcuts' were taken. .The pool was acid washed, cleaned, and bond coated. The plastering crew arrived early one morning and worked for several hours around rain showers to create a beautiful final finish. .While the pool was re-filled with water, the rainbow rock decking was repaired. The pool equipment was re-started and all systems are go! .Throughout the process, both David and Roland continually kept us up to date, answered all questions, and kept quality of the work as top priority as any true craftsman would. Other team members were easy to talk to and worked professionally. .Our bottom line is this: If you call Texas Leak Detection for an analysis and quote, go right ahead and put them on the repair job. There's a lot of experience within the company, and you'll be proud of the results. We were pleased with the pricing, attention to detail, and the experience of the entire crew.

I originally gave this company a negative rating because despite several phone and email requests I could not get a response. Well, we finally got a response when my husband called. Despite my initial impression my husband had this company come out to do some repairs on our pool. Well, I couldn't be happier. David and his son came out and the entire experience was very pleasant. David explained everything we asked...and I asked a lot of questions. It is obvious that he is very knowledgeable and experienced. He noticed a few additional leaks in our pool and fixed those small leaks, free of charge. The work was done very well and we are very pleased with the services performed. I felt he was honest, informative and I could trust the quality of his work. I would recommend this company. They don't have subcontractors. They do all their work themselves, which I assume is why the response was not what I would normally expect...that being said, I would continue to call because he really is worth the wait.

Excellent. David was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. As indicated above, they located and repaired the pool leaks within a few hours. Likewise, the pricing on the pump was very competitive and when they returned to install, they did another excellent job. I would highly recommend them.

I called three companies before him and they didn't know where the leak was. He did a good job troubleshooting and referred me to someone that could fix the leak.

Arrived at time specified. Replaced pump as quoted. Two days after replacement, noted that there was a leak at one fitting that was replaced. Called and reported the leak. Technician was out to repair within an hour or so. Will definitely use them again.

I called Texas Leak Detection early Monday morning with a pool emergency. When I turned on my filter it was blowing debris into the pool. In a normal week, waiting for repair would be ok. In this case, I had a pending pool party this weekend that required immediate repair. As luck would have it, David answered when I called and was able to stop by my house on the way to another customer site. A quick inspection revealed that the manifold was crushed and several DE filter grids were damaged. David inspected the overall filter installation and suggested moving the filter away from the house as the filter was literally touching the house. After some quick plumbing work, the unit was moved away from the house to make further maintenance work easier. David and team left so that they could move to their other customer site and purchase the materials needed to complete my repairs. They came back later that afternoon and completed the repairs and treated the pool water. Today, they returned to clean the pool and verify everything was working properly (which it was). Overall, a great experience and I look forward to working with them again. Woody

David answered as soon as I callled and was able to come out the very next day. He was punctual and thorough. He took the time to explain everything we needed to know. Getting the inspection report took quite a few back and forth emails, but Waynette who works in the office came through with exactly what we needed. I think it was just a miscommunication at the onset that had to be resolved.I would recommend them.

David and his worker were AMAZING!!! Two of the nicest guys we ever met. We just bought our home and it was a foreclosure, so we didn't know exactly what was wrong with the pool. They were very thorough and explained every single step of what they were doing. They were at our pool for hours and it seems like everything is working properly. The guy that inspected our pool told us that we would need a new filter, but David was so HONEST and said although it was on its last leg, it didn't need to be changed right away and we could save ourselves the money for right now. He could have just as easily told us we needed to change it and we would have given him our money. We will definitely be using them again!!!

I have a large pool and a rather large rock waterfall. They applied sealant on the deck coping and the stone. It has only been a few weeks, but it seems fine so far. The real test would be to see how it looks in a year and if the sealant has prevented anymore flaking away of the flagstone. Update: Four months after the work we noticed that the flagstone was really coming apart in chunks now and not flaking. We called TLD and Dave came out and acknowledged that the sealant did not work. He offered to replace the flagstone at more or less cost when I was ready to do it this year. I have been trying to reach him on and off for the past 8 weeks and finally someone came out to look at what we wanted to do. The long and short of it, was the individual did not seem interested and gave us an off the cuff estimate of $10,000 to replace the flagstone. This has been very disappointing. We are now speaking to the original builder of the pool to see what they can replace the flagstone with. The flagstone has been a disaster, which is not fault of TLD, but I wish they had known that the sealant would not have worked, as the problem has gotten worse.

Then showed up on time with a large truck with all the equiptment and supplies they needed to get the job done. It did not take them long at all to find the leaks and double check that there were no other leaks. The repair went fast and everything was cleaned up at the end. Excellent job.

They didn't initially find any leak and it took three trips, but they eventually found it and corrected it. They guaranteed their work and the leak continued so they had to come back till the problem was resolved.

Provider said they would be at my home 4-5 pm on 3/23. Did not show up and did not call. Very disappointing.

I would like to be able to give this company the same glowing reports that everyone else has given them. I want to emphasize that I think David and his crew know their business and do high quality work. They are nice and very professional. Unfortunately, in our case, all of those good qualities were overshadowed by a lack of reliability and poor communication. The company that does our pool maintenance informed me that that thought we had a leak in the pool on Friday, Feburary 18th, 2011. They do not do leak detection. Based upon the reports in Angies list, I contacted Texas Leak Detection early the next morning. David agreed to come look at our pool on the 25th as we were leaving town on the 26th. They failed to keep our appointment on the 25th and did not call to say that they weren't coming. When I called them, they agreed to come the next morning. They did arrive on time and perfomed some minor repairs but were unable to identify the location of the leak. David felt that the leak was likely to be in our waterfall system. He asked us to not run the waterfalls for a week and monitor the pool level and promised to return on March 5th. Again they did not keep our appointment and did not call. When I called later that day, they told me that they had been called to handle and emergency in another part of town but agreed to come on Monday, March 7th. Monday came and, for the third time, they did not keep an appointment and did not call. I called David later in the day on Monday and he agreed have someone at our house on Wednesday, March 9th. A very nice young man did come on Wednesday and apparently spent some time looking for the leak. He was unable to locate the source of the problem and did not take the check that I had left. However, I have heard nothing from the company since then and they have not responded to three phone messages. I certainly don't think that I have unreasonable expections. I fully understand that a small leak in my pool is less important than a catastrophic leak in another pool but I do think it is common courtesy to call when one cannot keep an appointment. I can only assume that this company has either accepted more work than they can reasonably handle or they are just so poorly organized that they can't keep their appointments straight. Either way, I feel that I should not have to work this hard to give someone my business and I have decided to contact a different provider.

The best experience I have ever had a with a pool service company. Practical approach and I will be using them again in the future. He was professional, courteous and I will be using them to service my DE filter and chlorinator very soon!
