Very well. Don and Matt were both very friendly, courteous, punctual and knowledgeable. Although the price for the toilet seemed high, I didn't have the opportunity to compare prices, so I don't actually know for sure. They actually threw in the faucet repair and flushing the hot water heater, so that made me feel a lot better.

We were charged $49 for them to come out to the house. When the plumber got here, he gave us an estimate of $300 to run a snake down a drain line. We got all sorts of excuses as to how he did not set the prices, standard prices for using sewer snake, etc.. When I spoke to the person on the phone about scheduling the work, she did not give an indication as to how much it would be.

It was EXCELLENT!! When I called for an emergency repair, they arrived 30 min after the fall. I wasn't home from work at the time, however, they repaired the leak and waited for me to come home for payment. They were super friendly and explained the problem/issue that was repaired. The following day the leak returned and they were very prompt in repairing the issue. I would recommend the company ten times over! EXCELLENT customer service!

The job went well did not take long at all about 30 minutes from start to finish. My only issue is the bill. Yes, they did ask me if I wanted it fixed or replaced but replacement cost was way more than I could handle at the time so said to repair. Works just fine like it did when was new. However I got up set when found out that the part that was replaced ranges in cost from $12 up to $30. Yes, the repairman was good and very polite but do not think was worth that much of a mark up. Called to confirm that I was really charged the right price and was told that a lot goes into the repair. Such as insurance on the truck, gas, training, cost that pertain to the building. And that they check and review the unit to make sure all is at its working best, well that I know did not happen since I was up in the attic with the guy while he worked. Yes, he looked at it but only looked at did not get up and close to examine it example the top all sides only area up close was where the part was that he replaced. Yes, understand that as well but still 1 h*** of a mark up. I stated would not use again but thats because the option of maybe was not there. I may use again but will make sure that I know the cost of the part first so that I can make a better informed choice before saying yes next time.

We called Met Plumbing to replace our leaking kitchen faucet and sprayer, and the sink strainer and garbage disposal splash guard/sink flange so that all the colors would match (previously had gold-colored, wanted to switch to silver-colored). I was pleased with the work, but not with the price or the customer service. The first 30 minutes were spent looking at a few other pieces of work we were thinking of having done, and pricing the work to be done that day. The estimate, just to replace the kitchen faucet/sprayer/sink strainer/garbage disposal piece, was $624, which at the time struck me as extremely steep. However, they charge $49 to come out and give an estimate (they waive it if you have the work done), and I didn't want to lose that; plus, not knowing anything about plumbing, I thought this must be an unusually laborious job for such a high price. However, it only took 2 hours to completely finish the work and do the cleanup, payment, etc., so altogether, including the first 30 minutes, the visit was 2.5 hours. We provided all the parts, so it was just labor. So at $624, that comes to $250/hour! I was really shocked, so afterwards I called their office to check whether the price was correct. The person who answered the phone connected me with the manager, who said he would talk to the owner and get back with me the next day. I never heard from him again. It's a shame, because we have several other plumbing jobs that need to be done, and I think the plumber did good, if over-priced, work, but at those prices there's no way we'll call them again.

The technician would not replace the pilot tube citing that it was against building code regulations. Instead, he said that we needed to either rebuild the ENTIRE water heater or replace it. He quoted me $800 for a rebuild and $3800 for a replacement! I called building code enforcement with the City and they said that there weren't any regulations restricting the replacement of maintenance parts on a water heater. This company LIES and MISLEADS customers and lets them believe that they need more work than what is necessary. I called another technician, explained my problem and they replaced the pilot tube without issue. Why would MET Plumbing even let me schedule a service specifically citing a pilot tube replacement and then come out and tell me that they couldn't do it. Then, they offer a complete rebuild or replacement as the only alternative. How can they PREY UPON PEOPLE like that?

Service tech was on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate. Repair was quick and had water flowing to my house again in 45 min from the time he showed up. I would definitely use these guys again for another job in the future.

Excellent communication with the servicing plumber, Steven Havelka, from before arrival, through diagnosis and explaining the work prior to starting and after completion. The central office had computer/scheduling problem, resulting in significant delay from initial appointment time, but once Steven received the dispatch, he called me and arrived in less than 30min.

Beware of price gouging! Service technician came out and informed us what part had gone out on our water heater. He informed us the part was under warranty and he would get it from the manufacturer but the installation of that part was to be $649 (in a written estimate). We contacted the manufacturer directly. They confirmed the part was under warranty and recommended ARS Rescue Rooter to come out and replace the part. We had them come out. They replaced the part on both our water heaters in less than 40 min. (20 min a heater) and did not charge us anything for the installation. So basically MET wanted to charge us $649 in just labor for a 20 min project - that works out to a rate of nearly $2000 per hour. I guess it's great work if you can get it :(

Excellent work! The main water line from the street to the water softener sprung a lead at an elbow this morning. As such, we had to shut off the water to the house. I called MET Plumbing around 9 AM and they had a plumber out to the house a bit after noon. He understood exactly what to do and replaced the elbow and joining lines efficiently. He was very professional and clean. We were very happy they were able to come out to the house on the weekend. A job well done!

The punctuality and the professionalism of the workers were good.

They chose the easy and expensive way to solve the problem - replacing with new hardware.They had no interest in finding the fixing the problem. They simply wanted to replace the faucet in the utility room. I wanted them to fix handle which got stuck. I had the same problem with the control handle for the faucet in my wet bar. They suggested to replace the whole unit. Fortunately they could not get a replacement that day. They told me they had to order it. Anyway, after they left, I was able to make the handle work.

The plumber was professional, efficient, competent and helpful. He wore booties on his shoes before he came in the house and he cleaned up after he was finished.

The plumber was friendly professional and most of all was the first one in a number of years that knew what the problem was and how to fix it! And did so. The price was reasonable for the work performed. THe office staff was courteous. They seem to be on top of their game.

The bathroom sinks in our 3rd floor townhouse mater bath were backing up. I tried to it clear myself with an auger but was not able to negotiate a turn in the pipe and just ended up having the auger pop out the other sink. I looked up plumbers on Angie's list and saw the positive reviews for MET plumbing and was able to get ahold of someone when I called, which I was unable to do with several other plumbing companies. The operator gave me a window of between 1-5 when someone would be out when I called at about 10:30. About 12:30 I received a call that a unit was in the area and available and he arrived around 12:45. Caleb was the techinican that came out. He was dressed professionally, corteous, and had a fantastic attitude. I expalined the situation to him and he quickly thought of a couple of options - either needed to cut through the wall below the bathroom vanity between the sinks to access the line or enter from the attic through a vent line. He explained to me what a vent line is and how my AC unit draining cold water into the bathroom sink pipes was likely leading to a build up of algae. After getting access to the attic he found that he would be able to access the vent line and prevent the need to cut through the sheetrock in our bathroom. He expressed confindence in being able to knock it out in no time and proceeded to do just that, clearing the line in aobut 15 minutes. When he came in the house he put on booties to keep from tracking around dirt and cleaned up any of the insulaiton debris that dropped during his time in the attic. He explained the problem clearly to me and gave me suggestions on how to prevent this in the future by dropping a cup of bleach followed by hot water down the bathroom drains a couple of times a year in order to prevent the build up of algae caused by the cold water draining from the AC. He also described an annual maintenance plan offered by MET at a very reasonalbe price of $129 which given the professionalism I saw in Caleb I was happy to sign up for. I highly reccomend MET and Caleb.

Great customer service from a responsiveness stand point. Wrote an estimate immediately pushing a service plan (i.e. $48 service call, $99 service plan waving service call fee). Service plans generally benefit the seller of the plan, not the customer. I needed a professional opinion, and I thought they were a little pricy. Time on the job was short but cost $326 - $25 Angie's List coupon. Simply had toilet removed and reinstalled. I'd use them again if I was in a pinch.

Technicians were very professional and careful to explain the work prior to authorization.

I had one guest toilet that needed the flush valve mechanism removed and replaced. I had guests coming and didn't gave time to fix it myself. Way too much money for the work.

Called Sun. pm./am Mon. I requested a master plumber who showed. stopped water from spraying. He ordered and replaced heater on next day. He re routed some pipe that previous person was too lazy to do correctly which was blocking access to heater. The work area area was VERY small, awkward, and 5ft off the floor. .Large heater removed and replaced. They did a few small extras at no charge. Very different that other service people. A little sheetrock damage was repaired and painted by MET even though I didn't report until almost a yr later. Very nice workers, owner, and office staff. Have had no problems since and have NOT discovered anything overlooked, also different than other companies. I don't want to be on BAND OF NEIGHBORS. Please take me off.
