Excellent! MET was the 3rd plumbing company to look at this problem. First two were also A rated companies in Angie's List. Paul and assistant Brit were first to come with two people and first to actually find the leak. Price asked was good they did the work promptly. They took great care to protect floors and counter tops in kitchen and to cut smallest possible holes in ceiling to make the repair. They cleaned everything up and were very nice. Also I should add that first of all I spoke with Maria on the phone and she was very clear and easy to understand and made the appointment right away.

When the man came out, after waiting all afternoon, he said that they would charge from $650 to $1,000 in order to replace it. We told him to go home. We went to Home Depot, bought a disposal for $108, and called a plummer to install it, and the total was $232. We have found that the companies you recommend are the highest priced services on the market.

I was overcharged and do not know if the job was done.

Everything went great. Representative, Paul, showed up on time and looked at all 3 issues. He presented us with the options and let us choose how to handle it. Some of the items weren't dire issues so we chose what was important and he fixed it quickly. Overall I am very impressed. He was very nice and knowledgeable. We will be calling Met plumbing when we are ready to upgrade the remaining items. Thank you!

It's 1-year-old house. Called to fix simple stuff on the inspection. (I was selling the house). They spent probably about an hour or so and charged $563. When I asked them about how much theycharge per hour, they replied we don't charge by the hour, instead, by the scope of the work. I was even more shocked because the job they did could have been handled by almost any adult.

I was selling my 2015 model home and hired this company to take care of the plumbing items on the inspection report. There were a few things to be looked at. First, they said there's a $49 dollars travel fee. I said OK. After emailing the inspection report (it's basically like telling the company, please fix the items on the list) they charged me a diagnosis fee of $129. I had not asked for any diagnostics from them. The home was inspected already. Why and what would you diagnose anyway? And on the top of the fee, they charged me $434 for the work they completed I described above. I wasn't home so I don't know how much time they spent on the work but I guess you can estimate it looking at the work description. When I asked them how much they would charge per hour, they said we don't charge per hour, we charge based on the type of the work that's done. Please look at the work description and tell me if it looks familiar or not? It's a simple, typical plumbing work. I did not see the work after completed. So I don't know how the work was done.

I said that is ok i am not going to pay an extra 300$ to have the camera hooked up. They did not call me for the initial appointment, i had to call them. When they arrived they had the little boots on to make sure my carpet didn't get wet or dirty, i liked that. Most people don't ask. they did it without asking, very nice. However, I did not like the extra charge.

Met plumbing did an excellent job on replacing the valve for our fireplace. They took our safety, and their responsibility to insure that the job was done correctly, very seriously. Don even took the time to call my husband and explain the procedure and cost. Prices and time to complete the job were fully explained. We were informed that this would not include any sheet-rock repairs. I am please to report that they took extra care in their removal of the valve door and surrounding sheet-rock that damage was minimal. I might even be able to repair and paint it myself! One more note, when the gas company came to turn back on the gas, the technician was impressed with the work and the minor amount of sheet-rock damage it took to complete the repair. I was also very pleased with the office and their informing me on when the technician would arrive.

Front desk was great. The technician that showed up however told me that the gas valve was bad and it would cost $800+. Then informed me that the water heater is old and needs to be replaced. That would cost $2400+. Recommended a Navien tankless which would cost $5000+. I told him will let you know later what I need to get done. Tech left and said office would call. Office called and I asked the lady to explain how the technician knew that the gas valve had gone bad when the ignitor was not even firing to light the gas. She said she would have a supervisor call. That was supposed to be 5 days back. No calls yet. The water heater fired up without any issues after I cleaned up the contacts. Would not recommend this company.

Guys were on time, friendly, professional, and cleaned up well when done. However $350 for thirty minutes of work to snake a clogged shower drain seems excessive.

I first called an unnamed "A" provider found from Angie's List, who came by and gave a free estimate of over $500. I told him I would have to get other quotes. He revised his quote to $388, and I told him I would let him know. Then I called MET Plumbing, another "A" provider on Angie's List, and he came by within an hour. He quoted only $268, so I gave him the OK to proceed. He was done and gone within an hour, having performed excellent work and installing new parts which he had on his truck. He (Don D.) was quick, professional, and reasonably priced--we are very pleased!!

They were trying to charge excessive fees. They were trying to charge me $301 when I had already prepaid for the service. They were also trying to charge me an excessive fee of $600. That really got me. I am a contractor as well and so I know costs. They were trying to charge me $653 for a toilet pool clean out. Typically, they were trying to charge me almost $1000 to clean out two drains. They would not give me pricing over the phone. They came up with that pricing when they came on-sight. For the camera work, they said the camera was not working very well. It was a very unclear shot, they put it there and it was in and out in 5 minutes. They didn't really determine if there was a break or anything like that. They were on time.

On May 1, 2016 I purchased the $59.00 special on Angie's List which claims to cover $100 towards plumbing work.? When Kalub arrived he said that it would cost $344.00 to snake my bathroom sink and $232.00 to put a new p-trap.? I told him the price seemed excessive and asked him what the $100.00 credit from my Angie's List package covered.? He said that was already credited and included in his price.? WOW!!!?? WOW!!!? He actually quoted a higher prices which included a 1-year preventative warranty on parts and labor (PVC).? I?m wondering what type of warranty I would need on a $5.00 PVC P-trap?? I told him that I could easily put a new p-trap back on or utilize the same one.? It's a simple-basic install, nothing out of the ordinary.?? I asked him to please snake the pipe to make sure it's not clogged, but he refused.? The plumber stated he would need to do all the work or nothing at all.? I asked him several times to please snake the pipe and that I would pay for it, but I got no where with this guy. I have a 2-story home.? The restroom upstairs rarely gets any use at all.? Over the weekend I went upstairs and noticed that there was about an inch of water backed up on both vanity sinks which are about 3' ft apart and utilize the same drain pipe.? I removed the p-trap from one of the sinks and inserted a 25 ft snake. I told the plumber that there is a good chance that the pipe is already unclogged and that water does not backup on the other sink.? However, he did not even bother to turn the water on to see for him self.? He insisted that he would need to put a new p-trap on first ($232.00) before he can test.? He was not even willing to test with the old p-trap which is perfectly fine.? The old p-trap was not the problem and was NOT leaking.

It went well, we hit a snag during the installation when Steven discovered that the garbage disposal had to be replaced, we weren't prepared for this but they worked with us and installed a Pro 750 garbage disposal for a reasonable price. It was such a pleasure working with Steven. We had to call them for a leak underneath the sink about a weak later and they sent someone down same-day to get it fixed. Working with the installers was great but the lady answering calls/scheduling at the office needs a little improvement regarding customer service. Overall this was a good experience and will work with the company again.

Two employees, very friendly and well- trained. Knew immediately the issue and stayed to make sure water was heating again.

John and Joseph did an excellent job cleaning out my kitchen sink pipes. They removed and cleaned/flushed out the pipes and made sure everything was working perfectly. They were very helpful in answering all my questions. This was the first time that I called Met Plumbing and I'm glad I used Angie's List to find them. I think their pricing was very reasonable and competitively priced. Before doing any work John explained their pricing from minimum charge to maximum (worst case) charge. I was able to use the $25.00 coupon from Angie's List too - $184.00-$25.00 = $164.00. I did check out other companies on Angie's List and feel that Met Plumbing was the right company to chose to fix my plumbing problem.

We have used MET Plumbing three times over the last several years to do work at my mother’s house in Houston, and each time they have done an excellent job. They replaced an in-attic water heater, and repaired a leaking upstairs shower pan. This last time we had to have a broken cast-iron sewer line replaced. The house is 50 years old and the main sewer line under the slab had rusted through and had collapsed. Repair of a broken sewer line under a slab foundation is a major job. Byron Avelar was the lead plumber and he was excellent. We thought we just had a stopped up toilet, but Byron showed me with his video endoscope (snake camera) where the problem was located. I had visions of jackhammers in the house, but Byron explained that they would tunnel under the slab to make the repairs. It was quite amazing to see the process. They had to tunnel 25 feet to reach the problem area. It was a very expensive repair, but Bryon made my mother and myself very comfortable. Since the process would take several days, I could not be there the entire time since I don’t live in Houston. Bryon sent me before and after pictures of the repair work and kept me in the loop for each step of the process. He also reassured my mother. She thought Bryon was wonderful. I highly recommend MET Plumbing. Whether it is just a water heater or a major repair, they really do excellent work.

estimate was higher than competition, but also like competition could not bid on entire job since they do not offer tile repair, left it to me to find a tile guy who could repair the tile damage they would cause and no one from their list has called back, verbal estimates from tile guys indicated cost to replace tile more than to replace valve, we wanted a single all inclusive price and went with a simple valve core replacement that made the shower at least stop leaking

Repair of buried propane line, damaged in trenching work. Very professional work. Am also grateful for his willingness to discuss other related issues to typical installations.

It was all clear. They checked and there was no clog in there. When he came in, he saw that there was something where I had to pay him $300 extra. He could have put a little bit better description of the "Big Deal" to clarify it.

Installation and functionality went well, I'm very pleased!
