We have used this company before and were very satisfied then with the cost and quality of service. This time it was even better. The service was very prompt and friendly. The plumbers arrived an hour sooner than expected and were very professional. They explained everything they were doing and what they believed was causing the leak. The problem had resolved itself by the time they arrived. They did not even charge us a trip charge and gave us a couple of recommendations on replacing the old pipes and general cost for both. Our home is almost 40 years old and needs the pipes replaced. We are going to follow up with their recommendation in January or February. They are awesome!

It took a crew of two all day to do both tasks. They cleaned up, but do not repair any wall cuts they make. I thought they were very professional, and did a good job but they are very expensive. I would het more bids next time.

They came on time and worked on the project with no delays. There was no hot water within the estimated time and they came back the next day. .The resolution was that the breaker was not completely closed after the service. They fixed that issue.

Although the listing for MET Plumbing states that they include emergency/24 hour service, they were unable to respond to my emergency on Labor Day. They were willing to come first thing the following morning, but since my entire house sewer was blocked, I needed service immediately. I would consider using MET Plumbing for non-emergency service.

Not well. We purchased the coupon for $59.00 to get over $100.00 worth of plumbing service. The plumber went to my home and then called me to get approval for the job and told me how much he was going to charge. He was going to charge over $350.00 plus parts just to rebuild a toilet. He told me he could not fix the toilet that day because he needed to get the parts for it. He would have to schedule another service appointment. I would then be charged again for the additional service appointment plus the $350.00, plus parts. He told me that the leaky faucet was going to be around the same charge even though he did not yet know what was wrong with it. I told him that his quote was the most outrageous quote I have ever been presented with and was completely out of line. I told him I was appalled at his quote and then asked "you must be a master plumber to charge this kind of rate". He said no, that he was a journeyman and that master plumbers are only for people that own the plumbing company. I asked the journeyman how he could justify such an outrageous bid and he told me that it costs a lot of money to run a plumbing company. This was our first experience with Angie's List and we are not impressed at all. We are requesting our money back from the coupon we purchased, as this company was misleading and presented an unfair and inflated quote.

Scheduling...flawless. Called 15 minutes before scheduled window and said they were coming. Arrived on time ,clean and professional guys. Very nice and knowledgeable. I'm not going to lie,I had some sticker shock. My choices were to replace the whole control unit or the entire water heater. Note-he did NOT try the big up sale for new units but he did not quote a price for just fixing what was broken either. At the end of the day I was ok with that because I already knew what the reliability of that particular system was. 2 identical failures 2 months apart on 2 separate units. They drained the tank and replaced the units. The whole thing took about 3 hours total and that was because they had to go get the parts. Overall, with the 2-yr warranty on the control system and the professionalism of the guys doing the work I feel comfortable with the transaction. It wasn't cheap, but everything was quoted up front and there were no attempts to push add-ons which I am happy about. Would use them again but might compare prices first. Great response time though. Quality company.

MY husband and I were very pleased...the providers of the project were clean, neat, and gentlemen. The service was provided quickly and they answered questions about future service. I was impressed with their knowledge of all things water and plumbing and water heaters, water softeners, etc.

MET did a good job. I picked the Angie's List deal for $189 for drain cleaning and camera inspection. What is not listed is there is an additional $49 trip charge on top of the 189. I was a little taken back by that - IMHO the deals should be an inclusive cost. The tech David was very professional and helpful. He cleared the line all the way back to the sewer, and ran the camera inspection again while I was watching - he explained everything clearly on the condition of the lines, what to look for, and offered some ideas to keep things good and clean. A+ in my book. While he was here, he quoted costs for replacing the water heaters and an option on a water softener. Roughly speaking, 40 gal water heaters are about $2200 each to replace (i have two), or $5500 for one of the new tankless ones that replaces both. Water softener with carbon filter is another $4500. I will get some other estimates to see how these compare with others before proceeding. I can say that I feel confident that they do good professional work and would use them again.

I purchased the deal, they called the following day to schedule. When I spoke with them they stated there would be a $40 charge for someone to come out there. I thought about it and decided it was pointless. The deal would have broken even and did not state the additional $40 charge. I have cancelled my appointment and am requesting a refund.

Don came quickly to fix the faucet (4 days after diagnosis and I received the part). He was courteous and even tested my water for softness. The work took less than 20 minutes start to finish. I've found my plumber for life!!

It went great, Don was very informative and let us know the pricing for best and worst case scenario of our repair. I called at 3:45 pm and they were here in less than an hour. I was impressed by the response time. Overall this was a great experience.

It went very well. He was wearing a badge and introduced himself when I answered the door. He went right to work, unclogged the bathtub for us and checked the other plumbing that are connected to that bathtub. He gave me some tips on how to prevent future clogs. We would use them again.

The plumber immediately tried to upsell me with some service about checking the gas to make sure it was flowing properly. When I told him no multiple times that I was not interested he came back with a price of $215 to turn the valve and relight the pilot light. I told him that that was ridiculous and he came down to $175 which still seemed outrageous. I then had another professional come out to due the exact same service and the charged me $75. I joined Angie's list to try and avoid ridiculous price gauging since I am a single female home owner. I am truly disappointed by this interaction.

I'm really glad I found these guys. I've had my share of plumbers over the years and have finally found the company I'm going to stick with. They are a little more expensive than most, but when I added it all up, factored in the return trips the other guys had to make because they didn't fix it the first time, and the time I had to take off in order to get something fixed, it evened out. These guys show up on time, they know what they're doing, they do a thorough, polished job and they clean up after themselves. We just bought a house that has a few issues with older pipes and they've been out several times already and I've been pleased with the results every time. Even my husband was happy to pay them. I cannot adequately convey in words how HUGE that is.

Called at 10:00am and they came so quickly with in the hour. They called 30mins before to let me know they were coming. A nice plumber john showed up and looked around to find the problem. He was very knowledgable and told me the best and worse case scenario and cost. He worked hard to fix the stoppage problem and help prevent unnecessary costs. He explained about issues he found and said that it is not a problem now but maybe in the future. He did not high pressure sale me on things I did not need. Just did top knotch work at a fair price. With impeccable service ?. I even bought the service agreement because they were so good. Many times we get a plumber and they make up prices as they go. Not john or Met plumbing they have a spiral book that has set prices, pictures, and descriptions so it is not to the whim of the plumber. This is why I felt comfortable and happy with John the plumber that I would refer them to all my friends.

Work was performed quickly, and everything looked great afterwards.

He called 20 minutes before arriving. After arriving and understanding my problem, he quickly and efficiently located two spots where my drain line was plugged. He staked the 2 spots, dug a hole, and there was the drain line. He was very courteous and very knowledgable about the camera and the locator.

Our water heater began leaking the Saturday night before Mother's Day. We called MET, and they tried to get someone out to us that night but were not able. They assured me that someone would be out first thing Sunday morning, which was Mother's Day. Sure enough, we got a call at 7:30 that the plumber was on his way. We had a new, quality water heater installed well before lunch. MET provided outstanding service and responsiveness.

Best experience I've ever had with a plumber, hands down. I had originally called one of the big-name plumbing chains, and after they failed to show for the appointment TWO DAYS IN A ROW I fired them and found MET here on Angie's List. My experience went like this: 9:30AM -- I called MET and was told they would have someone out between 10:00 and 2:00 10:45AM -- Plumber arrives at my home, checks out the toilet, gives me a quote, and I sign off on it. 11:20AM -- Plumber is DONE, I have paid for the services, and he is gone. So, just to make that perfectly clear: from the moment I called them to the point where the plumber was done and gone was just under two hours!!! That is remarkable. I'm sure my experience may have been a rare combination of perfect timing, location, and scheduling, but I can't imagine it going any better, especially after the other company had failed to show for two consecutive days. Will absolutely be using MET for my future plumbing needs.

On 5/6/14 I waited from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with cell phone in pocket not to miss the courtesy call -- at 2:08 p.m. I received a call to let me know the plumber had been "delayed" but I was "next up" -- I asked for how much longer it would be IE: 30 minutes or hours? I was told there was no way to know for certain, but it could be another 2 hours or more.... I said I would wait another hour -- but at that point I would consider the appointment canceled. .... No one showed (or called) in an hour.... poor first (and last) impression -- the customer's time is valuable too.

Everything went fine. The guys were great. Definitely knew what they were doing.

MET Plumbing was a pleasure to deal with. On the day of the estimate, Byron was late so we called his office, they looked up the GPS tracker on his truck and they told me he was in front of my house. When we looked out the window, he was waiting in his truck. There was another plumbing company giving us an estimate and he waited until they left before he came to the door. NOW THAT'S PROFESSIONALISM!! He insisted on wearing booties in the house and did a thorough inspection of the plumbing system. He estimated it would take 4 days but in the end it only took 3. I had gotten many estimates and they were one of the highest but they had the best warranty. They were very willing to negotiate on the price even though they still ended up being much higher than the cheapest bid but because of their warranty and because of Byron, we ultimately decided to use MET. Our next project (which we have already begun) is to gut the master bath and install a water softener. Byron will definitely be back to tackle this project.
