Description of Work: I was very pleased with the service I received from Katy Blinds. Delia was a delight to work with, and was very professional. She initially came over to my home to give me a quote, and go over the different blinds/shutter options. We chose to have shutters installed on 2 large windows in our master bedroom. If I remember correctly, there was about a 4-6 week wait for the shutters to be made/delivered, but I was made aware of this timeline at the beginning, so I had no problem with that. Perhaps the only thing I had an issue with, is when the shutters were ready to be installed, the Katy Blinds office called me, and gave me only one installation appointment time - I would have preferred several to choose from as my husband and I both work full time, and we don't have anyone nearby that can be at the house while they are installing these shutters, so I had to take off a half-day from work. The installers installed the shutters quickly and efficiently, and these shutters have held up nicely, even with a Chow-mix in the house who loves to mess up blinds in order to look out the window - while she still likes to paw at the shutters sometimes, they have held up great! They are a durable product, and I will go back to Katy Blinds for any future purchase.

John worked around our schedule and came out, on time, and quoted us a competitive price and delivery on two wood shutters. He brought samples of the different styles and sizes available which made choosing the right one for us easier. The delivery was several days earlier than promised and his installers were in and out in less than 15 minutes. It was what the kitchen needed to finish it off. They looked great and I will not hesitate to recommend or use Katy Blinds & Shutters for our future needs.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, THE KIND OF PEOPLE YOU LIKE TO HAVE INTO YOUR HOME. I DEALT WITH THREE PEOPLE THERE. I LIKED ALL OF THEM. ONE OF THE BLINDS BROKE AND THEY IMMEDIATELY SENT A REPAIRMAN TO FIX IT. HE COULDN'T FIX IT SATISFACTORILY, SO THE COMPANY REPLACED IT. I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE. I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE COMPANY THROUGH MY SISTER WHO HAD A SIMILAR POSITIVE EXPERIENCE.
Description of Work: WE MOVED TO A HOME WITH WORN-OUT MINI-BLINDS, KATY BLINDS AND SHUTTERS; REPLACED ALL THE MINI-BLINDS WITH 2-INCH BLINDS.
