Brazos Valley Services did a good service. I scheduled it about two weeks out. So the delay was not in their part, it was mine. I just paid the price for the big deal.

I was very pleased with Brazos Valley. I have an old A/C furnace that is on its last legs and it stopped working this summer. I was convinced that i would have to replace the entire unit for thousands of dollars. They could have told me the whole system was shot and I would have believed them. Instead, they were able to replace a broken part, repair the system and get the system working again promptly for just over $300. I called them around 1:30, they said they would be there between 5 & 7. They called me when the technician was on his way, and he was there when promised. He was very thourough and I had a working A/C by 6:30. He talked to me about replacing my unit and offered the maintenance contract., but it was very low key and professional, not a hard sell which I appreciated. When my system does go (and it will), they will be one of the first places I call. I do not know that they are the cheapest company, but they are honest, reliable, and professional.

The service went well overall. They had to switch my appointment time due to an emergency, but still came out the same day. They send an email with a photo of the technician that will be coming out to your home, which is a nice added safety measure. They offer an ongoing maintenance plan that you can pay for annually or monthly and the tech also recommended a surge protector for our A/C breaker. Prices were given for both but we did not feel pressued by him to purchase either item/service. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again when the need arises!

These folks were professional in every aspect of their work. They scheduled a date with reasonable time window, called to confirm prior to the service date, and called to inform me the technician was in transit to my home. Upon arrival the technician performed the agreed upon service with proficiency while taking care to protect my home's interior when transitioning from the outside A/C unit to the interior unit.

To me an AC tune-up is a complete cleaning of the system and checking refrigerant levels. Here were the extract charges: Clean coil: $250 Clean and Repair (not replace), condensation pan: $130 My wire from the AC didn't have power pulled through, so they said need new wire pulled. Cost $195 So: $575 What I did: smallest spool of AC wire, $21.95 AC Coil cleaner, the easy version. $12.95. Rubber paint, for condensation pan, stuff is cool so I bought the big can. $8.95. Needed screwdriver, both kind; wired brush for pan, dust vac for pan, wire strippers for wiring. Coil clean 30 minutes, sweaty hot. Pan fix 60 minutes, scrub, vacuum, clean with alcohol , taped stuff off so it would get the paint on it. Wire fix a couple hours, didn't actually have to run one because it was there(i was angry about that), I don't recommend this one for the novice, you could electrocute yourself. But if you work with electric stuff, there is a schematic on the cover, easy to figure out but still took a meter and a couple hours, because whoever put it to get there years back, didn't follow the schematic. :)

Provider arrived on time and proceeded to test the units for any issues. Provider was very thorough on his explanation of what was being done as well as what I should do to maintain the units myself. Impressed with the amount of knowledge they were willing to share as well as how comfortable I felt that I was not being "taken for a ride" as I have with some other providers.

I had a very pleasant experience with Brazos Valley Services. From the first call to schedule the appointment I was very pleased with the service. I was not charged any more than I was told and received some great advice on my a/c system. I will definitely use this company again.

Signed contract on a Sunday and system was installed on Monday. Overall experience has been very good. The technicians they have sent out are all very polite and professional. The Aprilaire 8600 controller had a problem and caused the fan to run continuously. Provider is in the process of replacing the controller - or maybe upgrading at a small cost to a Nest learning thermostat. The price seemed a little high ($11K included the entire system and attic insulation). It's possible that we may have been able to get it a bit less expensively through another provider, but BVS has a "complete system replacement" guarantee if the compressor fails in 10 years, and the warranty is supposedly transferrable if we sell the house before then. So, hopefully, the extra cost is justifiable; too early to tell.

Tech arrived on time after calling. Tech performed A/C tune-up and inspection work. Tech gave detailed evaluation in writing.

It went very well. We have already called them back for another cleaning well. He was very courteous, knowledgable and did a good job so far. They were very professional, went above and beyond. They checked things out and really cleaned them.

I was impressed with the person they sent out. He was very thorough and of course he said, I had a lot of things that needed to be done but he did take pictures of my unit at the attic and he did take pictures to show me what he was talking about. They were very professional. They arrived on time and spent quite a bit of time in checking the units out. The prices they gave me where quite high.

The guy seems really nice and helpful.

They confirmed the appointment several times and sent a photo of the serviceman before he came. He was right on time. He did an excellent job - he was very thorough - inspected the ducting, checked the ratings - took pictures of the problems - washed the AC - and wrote up a report for what would eventually be needed to He was here for about an hour! There was no follow up with the company though... We would consider replacing our 13 year old unit. I thought they would check up on how it went and did we want to discuss replacing he system or the ducting.

Technician (Brad) e-mailed us in advance with his credential, arrived on time and did very good and punctual job addressing all our concerns.

He was very nice and explained everything to me. There was no pressure to purchase any of their plans. He answered all of my questions. As it turns out, my ac was fine and required no additional maintenance.

George was on time. Called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He is very friendly and would highly recommend to others.

They were here on time, and they were very thorough in what they did. Very efficient, and they presented me with all my options without any additional sales pressure.

I think the AC check up was a very educational experience for me.

I was impressed with all aspects of my experience: from setting up the appointment to the final report from the service tech who arrived on time. I was e-mailed a confirmation of my appointment with a picture of the Tech, they called to confirm the day before, and the day of to let me know when he would be arriving. The service tech was professional, clean and well spoken - he was there to do his job. I would highly recommend and will use Brazos Valley Services in the future.

Dave arrived on time @8:30am. Performed the chemical wash on outdoor condensor coil. He came in and gave my husband some programming instructions on the thermostat. He left by about 10am. He left me some pricing information on upgrading my service club membership. BVS does one thing that impresses me a lot. They send out e-mail confirmations of your appointments and it includes your service personnel's picture. I think that is great so you know who to expect. If that person changes they call and let you know. Thanks Dave and Brazos Valley Services for always being there when we need you with your EXCELLENT service!

Based on the overall experience, I will be calling them again.
