Description of Work: I used Baron's to clean out my dryer vent. He quoted me $165 on the phone but since my cleaning was not that bad and easier to get to than he thought, he only charged me. $139. Plus, since I mentioned you he gave me a $10 discount. I only paid $129. He was a very pleasant person, very accurant and will use him again. Thanks Angie for the referral.

Description of Work: Chimney Sweep

Description of Work: Our chimney chase (the outside covering of the chimney) was unstable and had been for the six years we've lived in our house. We had several people come look at it, but the solutions they proposed were not aesthetically pleasing. Although this was not a job that Ted Knight could do himself, he contracted someone and they did an excellent job. He oversaw the entire operation and we are very pleased with the results, the promptness with which the project was completed, and the professionalism of all workers involved.

Description of Work: I called Ted to repair a piece of material between my firebox and the brick fireplace that was falling down. He came to take a look, gave me a fair price for the repair as well as cleaning out the chimney and got to work! He even showed me how to use the flu (little tricky and I hadn't thought to look) I will definitely call him back for additional work.

Description of Work: We recently purchased an older home that has 2 fireplaces neither of which are operable. I had Baron give me an assessment of what it would take to restore each to functionality. They were very responsive: called me back right away; made an appointment for that afternoon; arrived on time. Ted gave me a written estimate of what it would take to repair one fireplace and advised that the other was probably not able to be put back into service for any reasonable cost. We have not decided just what we will do yet but if I decide to rehab that fireplace I will have Baron's do the work.
