Ted helped clean my dryer vent that was so clogged no air was exiting. I had an improper exterior vent cover and a very old bird nest stuck in the line. I noticed right after he left that my dryer was working so much better it now dries on 1 cycle vs the 3-4 cycle before the maintenance. Ted had a very honest sales approach and I'm glad I went with him. The competitors were going to use air only and the clog was so drastic that would not have helped at all. I feel thanks to Ted my energy bill will decrease and I'll recoup the cleaning cost in a few months, but the time I'll save drying my clothes is what I'm most excited about.

Perfect. Barons cleaned my Chimney, installed a Chimney cap, and installed gas logs last year. Such great service. This year he came back and checked to make sure everything was working properly. I would highly recommend this company.

For years, our fireplace would smell musty after a rain. Then the chimney cap broke and blew off. There was not a way to secure a new cap. We had several bids, and all said that the flue was cracked and the concrete chimney cap was crumbling. The entire center of the chimney needed to be removed and replaced, and a cap installed. Ted did a good job of explaining the damage and the repairs that would be done. The work was done professionally and on time, with good clean up afterward. In addition, Ted added a free fireplace cleaning and refurbishing, which was needed after so many years of water leaking into the chimney and fireplace. We were definitely satisfied with the job.

All went well he explained the service he preformed and the current condition of my fireplace and chimney.

He was professional/respectful and seemed very knowledgeable. The process took about an hour. I will use this company again for any chimney needs I have in the future.

This was one of the best if not the best experience I have ever had with home repairs. A few years ago, we had the chimney leak repaired by them only due to lack of funds. They just did the full repair. On time. On budget. Quick. Courteous. Professional.

Mr. Knight returned call promptly and came on time. I thought I had serious chimney problems as the house is almost 50 years old. After looking into the chimney he said I just needed a chimney cap which he installed immediately and quickly. He didn't try to upsell me which I appreciated very much.

Could not have gone any better. I highly recommend Baron's! I just recently purchased our first home so I did not have a lot of knowledge when it comes to chimney's/fireplaces. Ted was extremely pleasant, answered a lot of questions, explained everything that he was doing, and left the house spotless. I felt very comfortable with him in our home. He does not try to up-sale you on things you do not need. He mentioned that we potentially will need to have an extender added, but we should wait till we use the fireplace to make that decision. Very impressed with Ted and the company.

It went very well. He was extremely efficient and professional. He came in, did his job, answered our questions - all very politely - and left. One thing I really appreciated was when we asked about the iron (or whatever) plates on the bottom of the firebox... he told us ours were fine, they did not need to be replaced. He didn't try to get us to pay for things we didn't need. I liked him and will use them again.

He was excellent. I got one estimate that was between $7,000-$10,000. Baron's Chimney Service does the work from the outside so he doesn't tear up the mantel so his estimate was only $4,000. He explained everything, and showed me pictures from other jobs hes actually done and my husband and I decided to go with him because he was obviously very knowledgeable. I knew the supplier he was getting the fire place from and when he put it all back together you would never know it was done. I have had people say my God what did they do, because they take individual bricks from outside of your fire place. They have enough room to replace the firebox and then they have someone, rather small man who goes up in the chimney and links everything together and then comes out of the top.

The team were excellent, approachable, explained everything and were very helpful. I will definitely used them again :-)

Two people came out to do the work. I wasn't there. My husband was. The experience was great. They came out and found the problem and fixed it. I felt they did good work.

Ted was prompt in arrival, getting to work quickly. Repair was diagnosed and fixed so fast. Really pleased with the service. Came a second time to inspect the chimney due to an home adjuster inspection. Found that repair was still in good working order and the inspector was incorrect. That meant we didn't have to pay for another repair. I highly recommend Hume for quick competent service at a reasonable price.

Ted was very easy to work with and his prices were very reasonable. We ran into one glitch when his supplier ran out of inventory on the burners/logs. However, Ted was up front with us and gave us options to wait, switch to another style or switch to another vendor (he supplied options). We were happy with his price so we waited for him. It turned out very well and we are quite happy with the results.
