The overall experience was great. They came when they said they would, they were friendly and curteous, and made every effort to keep the work area clean. The work was performed quickly and he even accepted my Angie's List coupon. Overall I am very satisfied. This was the second time I have used this company and will coninue to use them again in the future for all my chimney needs.

Lord's Chimney are very professional and they went the extra mile to help us. They did a very good job. I called them because our fireplace was not working at all. It was a Friday, December 21st, and our children were coming to visit us for Christmas and we wanted the fireplace to work and I notice the fireplace was not working only a few days before. They came on that Friday 21st in the afternoon and fixed the gas leak but the remote control receiver was dead. It was not possible to repair it (he tried very patiently to fix it), and the holidays were approaching. Because the technician did not have a new spare receiver box in his van, and it was almost 7pm, he promised that he will come on the next day to bring the new receiver and install it so the fireplace will be working when our children arrived at our home on Saturday afternoon. True to their word, the technician arrived at our home on Saturday 22nd at 10am and installed the new receiver. Both techinicians were very polite and professional. We were very happy with their service and we could see that they have made and extra effort to fix our fireplace for Christmas. I will totally recommend them.

Arrived even a bit ahead of schedule. Placed down canvass to contain soot. Cleaned foreplace and interior chimney. Inspected the chimney and recommended minor repairs which were performed while on site.

They showed up on time and got right to work, working on the chimney and the dryer vent. He made a small repair to the fireplace. The only concern was the flue, which I wanted to know how to work. He left the damper mechanism open, so I wouldn't have to worry with it. I was interested in replacing the damper mechanism to make it easier to use, but he didn't' really go into that with me. It would have been helpful if he could have taken the time to discuss this with me. Overall, though, I was happy with their work and how quickly and efficiently they worked; they also cleaned up the area after they were done!

I saw the coupon for a $99 cleaning (along with very positive reviews) and had Baron's Chimney Service come in today to clean my chimney. I've never used the fireplace since I've been here, but I believe the previous owners had. Ted called shortly before the scheduled time to say he was close by, which is always appreciated. The service was quick, professional and clean. Since I had never used the fireplace, he instructed me on a couple of things to make sure I used the fireplace properly and safely. Additional services were offered (gas log installation) at a reasonable price but it was not pushed at all - again, much appreciated. I will certainly use Baron's again in the future.

Called yesterday and Ted asked if I was available at 10:30 today. Showed up promptly, did complete cleaning and repair work and even disposed of the old screen. Made suggestions as to where to go to get a new screen and left my den immaculate!!!

We called and reached him immediately. He came out to inspect the issue and gave us a quote the same day. Services were scheduled within 2 business days, the other company we called was booked for 2+ weeks. He arrived on the date of appointment, after calling to check if we were home and to let me know he would be about 30 minutes late. He arrived as expected, performed the work, and we are happy with the result.

Wonderful service! I called Ted on a Wednesday to schedule an estimate. He came out that day and took a look and gave me an estimate. I booked him to come that Friday to do the repairs. He was right on time, very professional and did a wonderful job for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this company.

My chimney cap came off (along with many other damages) during Hurricane IKE. The contractor who installed a new roof put it back on. They tried to tell me that my fireplace was ok, but I didn't want to use it until it was inspected by a company who specialized in chimney inspection and repair. Due to a number of other repairs, etc. I had not gotten it inspected yet, so after reading reviews on Angie's list, I called Baron's Chimney Service and talked with Ted Knight. He came out on a Saturday within a couple of days of my call. He was on time and very professional. He inspected and cleaned my chimney. During the inspection, he found an area inside the chimney that he said could be a fire hazard and showed me what he had found. Then he inspected the chimney cap discovering that the contractor who was supposed to have secured it had only set it on top of the chimney unsecured. He gave me a price to repair the area inside the chimney and secure the cap along with the cleaning and inspecting. I told him to go ahead with the repairs which he did the same day. Mr Knight protected the area around the chimney before he cleaned and repaired it. After completion, he cleaned up everything and left my house cleaner than anyone else doing repairs ever had. This company is at the top of my list of contractors for responsiveness, punctuality, professionalism, communication, and cleanliness. A + in my book!!

BARON'S CHIMNEY SERVICE made a special trip out to our residence on a Saturday to sweep and inspect our two chimneys. He spent a few hours inspecting and fixing our chimneys. We we very satisfied with his work and also the fact that he was willing to accommodate us on a weekend.

The work was done efficiently, and the job sites were left very clean. He was professional and friendly.

The Baron's employee, Ted D. Knight, even arrived AHEAD of his scheduled service call time! A real "can do" type of person! Didn't wine and complain about the location of our chimney on our roof like the Lords Chimney employees had! Got his ladder down, and went to assessing the problem...and suggesting a workable, appropriate solution. Left to secure needed supplies. Returned to cut, fit, and install the "fix" to our problem. End of story! And only charged us $80.00 to do it. That sounded a whole lot better to us........than the estimate from Lords for $2520.00.....to solve the same problem.

Ted was on time and came in an urgent time, had to go for past and explained what he was doing and why, this is small closet with stretched weaker dryer, but Ted managed the dryer vent to a safest outlet he made. This was is who to call situation more than one problem to deal with.

I liked the fellow who came out and he did a great job. Got up on the roof and inspected everything just as I had expected he would do. He was very mindful of ash/dust and his vacuum did a great job at eliminating the stuff in the air and on the furniture. Absolutely no mess at all was there when he was gone !

He was easy to contact, easy to set an appointment, and came at the appointed time. He was quick and efficient. This is the second time I have used him to clean out the ashes.

A YOUNG PERSON CAME TO DO THE WORK. THERE ARE GLOBS OF CEMENT LEFT BEHIND ON THE BRICK. THE OWNER DID OFFER TO COME CLEAN IT UP, BUT IT HAS HARDENED AND I ASKED HIM JUST NOT TO COME BACK.
