Description of Work: Chimney inspection and swerping

Description of Work: My fireplace was in bad shape from previous owner. I felt it was a safety risk and wanted it checked out. Good thing I got in touch with Ted. New damper, new flue, new back wall...this is because the previous owners, instead of repairing the broken flue, they stuffed towels and concrete into the chimney. The back wall was cracked and holding water - and who knows what else. When Ted lifted off the gas logs, we discovered a yellow rubber hose connected to the gas pipe UNDER the logs. Rubber can melt, right? After so much work, my now wood-burning fireplace works great, looks great and most of all, it is SAFE.

Description of Work: Installed an remote starter for my gas fireplace as well as cleaning and general upkeep. Came early and prepared, and did a super job. Plan to use for my regular maintenance and checks going forward.

Description of Work: Great, professional service. The service was quick and efficient even though I added the re-installation of my gas logs to my wish list after my initial contact with them. Very pleased with all aspects of the work done.

Description of Work: Ted power washed our chimney , replaced chimney cap, and added new mortar where needed. About 5 minutes after he left we had a downpour and I watched all the mortar disappear. I called Ted and he returned the following day to replace mortar. He will return to seal chimney when it finally dries out!

Description of Work: Did inspection and cleaning. Actually had called because we need new chimney cap, upon cleaning, he found problem with firebox. Was very professional in he gave us our options, price to fix and worked with us on price. If we don't do the one option, will be calling him to come back and fix it all.

Description of Work: The fireplace insert had become dislodged from the inside of the chimney and dropped. Brickwork had to be removed from the chimney, fireplace removed and new one installed. Flucap on chimney replaced and flashing repaired. All this including rebricking the outside of the house was done in one day with no added charges. They were very polite, covered the furniture and carpet,cleaned up and disposed of all trash. They were great!!
