ALLIED SPRINKLER & REPAIR

I called them today (after receiving no response from my email) and stated I would like to have someone come out and look at my system as I needed some repairs and wanted some changes. I was told "We don't do estimates" unless it is a complete installation. I see other reviews that say they do good work and good prices, but I need some idea of what I am going to charged before I turn someone loose in my yard! Guess I will move on down the list.

Owner came out to do an estimate which he explained in detail. He had an excellent price and really gave me the most information. He said he could come back the next week to complete the service. He did. Guys were prompt and clean. Service was great and orderly. I could not ask for a better job done.

Excellent communication. They gave me a print out of my yard and where the sprinkler heads would be installed. They arrived early the day of the install, and worked all day. They tested the system, and explained the system control box. They answered all my questions. They gave me a book on my new system. They could not have done better. And I continue to get e-mails concerning my sprinkler system and care during the changing seasons.

Although they did charge a $35 service call, and $85/hour, a husband wife team does the repair work for Allied, and they are very efficient, and did a lot of work in the one hour they were here. Rodney is the brother of the owner, and really knows his work. They were one of the few companies that returned my call for repair work, as others must be busy installing new systems. They scheduled promptly, and came out within a few days. All repairs were completed satisfactorily, and I would use them again, and recommend them highly.

Rodney and Kim Rockwell are a husband and wife team that KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING! I was so impressed with the speed in which they found and corrected the NUMEROUS problems in our sprinkler system. They are very knowledgeable as well as friendly and courteous and they take care to clean up behind themselves as well. I highly recommend them!!!

Very nice and professional, worked very hard in cold wet weather. System works great now. Very pleased!

Service took about 2 hours and efficiently done.

They did a great job in locating the leak and adjusting all heads.

They arrived early that morning and were finished approximately 2:30 pm. The system was tested thoroughly after installed and was modified when Mr. Rockwell noticed certain sprinkler heads would not completely cover a certain area. After the completed installation, our lawn looked very good.

Guys are easy to deal with.

They fixed the leak and other problems I had. I thought this was going to cost arround $400 but only cost me $158 and they were great to talk to.

After waiting for over a week for this service, a husband an wife team showed up. After explaining what i needed done, he started to tell me that he did not have time to do the job for he ONLY check out systems and he felt that i had to redo all of my irrigation system and this was without even taking a good look at it. With his negative attitude and poor customer service, i had to ask him to leave. If it wasn't for his kind wife that kept trying to reiterate what he said in a more professional way, i would have asked him to leave my property after 2 min of being there. All this guy wants is an easy day job.

They were prompt for their initial visit and gave me an instant written quote. They were on time for scheduled work date and the workers were efficient and polite. There was a supervisor on the job at all times.

It was excellent. I wish all contracts went this smoothly.

These guys are great. They found and fixed the leak in only about 40 minutes. One of the glues PVC unions had come unglued and they replaced all of the unions.

I had given them a good review previously. When they came out this time to do some work, the experience was not pleasant at all. The gentlemen that came out and did the work was not very nice to his help. The two helpers were very kind and respectful to me. He replaced the sprinkler head in about 10 minutes, but was I charged for an hour's work - which I was unaware of when I called them. When I asked him about it, he was pretty condescending/dismissive about it and more or less told me that they did not need my business.

It was a great experience. They came on time and they fixed everything. As far as I can tell, I haven’t had any problems and everything seems to be working well.

They arrived 15 minutes into their 1 hour arrival window which was great. They took their time and explained everything as they went. They did a fantastic job!

Allied does a great job. I've always had a great experience with them. During peak season in the summer, it may take a few days for them to get to you, but they always come according to an agreed date / time and finish the job to satisfaction.

We needed a review of our existing sprinkler system. It took a couple of weeks to get an appointment but it was not an emergency situation. Allied came out to give a quote on a Sunday and during the holiday weekend. Instead of just doing a quote and rescheduling he brought 2 people with him and was ready to do the work right then. It took about 2 hours and they replaced and redirected most of the heads in the front yard and a few in the back. We are now getting coverage throughout our whole yard. It costs us about $400 for parts and labor. We have a large corner lot. I would recommend this company.

I got their name from Angies List. They did a good job and repaired it. They were an hour late in getting here but they did call to let me know that they would be late. I feel that it was incredibly overpriced. They were here for about half an hour at the most but they charged me for an hour's worth of labor.

I interviewed 9 irrigation specialists. we went with Allied Sprinkler because Mr. Rockwell was straightforward and no nonsense with the bid. he didn't try to sell me anything i didn't need. after he completed the installation, he walked me to each spray head, identified them, showed me how to operate them, and also gave me a sprinkler head adjustment tool because he wanted to save me some trouble of ordering the thing online. :o) that's just plain thoughtful. since then, whenever i have the littlest issue, he would come out as scheduled or call if he's not going to make it. he came out during a pouring thunderstorm once to repair a sprinkler head because he learned that i was in a time sensitive situation (selling the house). The only issue we had was the amount of scrap/litter from parts that were left in our yard afterwards. we did let it slide because it was in the middle of july and the heat was just too much to expect everyone to be lucid in our opinion...but it maybe that we're lenient...who knows... All in all, His work ethics and high standards are what set him apart for me. he's going to probably do the new sprinkler for our new house in a few months.

It was hard work in extremely hot weather and Andy and his wife worked through it and replaced the valve successfully.

They were very thorough in not only replacing the valve but with checking my entire 12-zone sprinkler system. And they made adjustments and repairs without really charging me for it. If you are looking for high-quality professionals that can do intelligent design and only install the best parts with full warranties I would recommend you use these guys, They are not cheap. In my experience if you are going for cheap non-licensed guys you will pay in the long run with the replacement of plant materials due to inadequate watering coverage, it is not worth it.

All went as well and as represented.
