Excellent bid process. The bid was in the ballpark, clear, and brochures were provided to explain the system Started and finished job on time. Excellent training on the system. Installation of the control unit was done very well.. In summary, the job was done very well and with quality work.

I called on 3 separate occasions and they didn't pick up the phone. I left 3 voicemails stating what i wanted done but i never got a phone call back.

Good .. we had one issue but owner agreed to make it right. The issue went away when my auto mechanic fiddle with the computer system and he did it at no cost. We have used the mechanic for years and referred business to him!

The system was promptly and professionally installed. Jim followed up with a complete explanation of how to use the system. We are very pleased.

I called them after I had paid for an Angie's List "big deal" with Fairbanks. I had paid the first company $59 for an inspection and reprogramming. I had also wanted them to repair a small leak in the back yard while they were there. Short of it, they had found 3 small leaks in the back and one large one in the front. The guy had repaired the smaller ones first after I had instructed him not to until we knew how much the large one in the front would cost to repair. Well he repaired the 3 back ones to the cost of an additional $106. But the quote for the large front one was an additional $464. I contacted Allied Sprinkler and Repair and they had the problem fixed, straightened out a few heads in the front, reprogrammed the system and showed me how to reprogram in about 45 minutes. I was very pleased and will contact them again with any problems. My next door neighbor came home when they were finishing up and got their card. I was very pleased!

We recently purchased a home in the Katy area and noticed the sprinkler system was not working properly. I called Allied and the earliest appointment he had available was two weeks - his schedule is very busy this time of year. Allied's team of Kim & Rodney arrived a little early which was great for me. They did a wonderful job going through the whole system, finding problems, then taking care of them right away. After they replaced the broken heads, they went through and adjusted all of the sprinkler heads to make sure the spray was correct for the area. They were at our place about an hour. We were impressed with their workmanship and how friendly they were. We will use them again if the need arises.

The proposal was 10 zones for $5000. The lot is only 75 X 120 with 3 flower beds, so 10 zones seemed like overkill. Also, $5000 was substantially more than I was expecting. When I mentioned it, changes were made to bring the estimate down to $4200, still more than I was expecting based on past sprinkler installs. I ended up getting estimates for $3350, $3850, $3600, and $2750. For $2750 I got 7 zones installed for nearly half of the original estimate, and my lawn is still being properly watered with the cheaper bid. I am sure allied does a fine job as many of the reviews here suggest, but I felt my estimate was higher than what I would consider reasonable, so I am writing this review when work was not performed.

After finding them on Angie's List, I gave them a try and was very happy with the service. I called regarding a leak on my system and he ended up inspecting the entire unit on the side of the house and said the pipes were not up to code and the main part was not working properly, which explains the strange leak I kept feeling. He checked all my sprinkler heads on his own without me asking and cleaned two for me. Very nice and very honest. He didn't charge me for all the parts, which he didn't have to do and he did it all within an hour! I'm already recommending him to my neighbors....

A pair, one woman and one man, arrived to inspect the leak. He was gruff and difficult. He was not at all sensitive to the concern I had for damage to plants near the leak area, replying something like - you want it fixed don't ya? He was eager to pack up, as if he was doing me a favor. There was no professionalism at all. I tried sending a message to the company through their website, but the e-mail was undeliverable. I don't think I'm dealing with the owners of the company. I would be happy to elaborate in a conversation with the owner. I can't believe that this company has all A ratings.

I can not say enough good things about Allied Sprinkler and Repair. First of all, we got several bids. Jimmie was the only person who explained exactly what he was putting in, where, why, how, and went into detail about the system and why it was the best. He didn't try to sell us something we didn't need. Other companies just said here's your bid. He didn't ask about Angie's List coupons before he did the bid to where he could up his price. He came out within a week after we excepted his bid. The other companies were going to be 3 weeks to a month out. He showed up exactly when he said he would the day of the job. His crew did a great job on our lawn and put it back exactly the way they found it. Jimmie even replaced the copper pipe to our water meter with PVC pipe and didn't even charge it for us! NOBODY DOES THAT ANYMORE!! Thank you Jimmie! He was very nice, professional, and wants to make sure your job is perfected!! I would highly recommend them for your home. His warranty is longer than the other companies too. I appreciate Jimmie taking his time to explain everything to us instead of trying to get in as many bids as he could in one day. Would absolutely use him again and will use him later on for the lighting of our home.

Jimmie and his crew showed up at promptly 9:00 (as they had promised) and spent the day setting piping in place. My backyard is split up a bit, so there were 8 zones to install. They worked diligently all day and finished at 5:00. The system works great and I know I'll be very happy I decided to do this once Houston's heat kicks in this summer. I was very impressed that the owner, Jimmie, was here and worked every bit as hard as the rest of his crew. I would definitely recommend Allied Sprinkler & Repair for any irrigation work.

It took all of about 20 mins to take care of the situation. Rodney, his wife , and son were friendly, professional, and went straight to their work and corrected the problem. They were very fair. I will recommend them and will use them again.

I first contacted him on July 3, 2013. He arrived on July 4, 2013 to give an estimate. Installation took place on July 17 and 18, 2013. HIs crew worked quickly and efficiently. His price was very reasonable according to my brother-in-law who installs sprinkler systems in Oklahoma. Jimmie is good to follow up. We are very happy with our system and highly recommend Allied Sprinkler & Repair.

Although we had a delay due to weather. they kept in touch and came out as promised. the owner was there during the whole job and they finished as promised. They have a very professional crew that knew what they had to do, got it done and cleaned up after themselves. the final price was as quoted and no attempt to up sell. I would recommend Allied Sprinkler to all my friends and family. and would definitely hire them again.

Jimmie set an appointment within a couple of days of request, promptly arrived for the job, and completed the work himself without cutting corners for a reasonable price. How could it be better?

They found where my husband had not turned on a valve all the way, thus preventing the system from working correctly. They remedied that and checked the rest of the system and found it OK.

We were in an emergency situation where the line was broken and there was no way to turn off the water because we had a broken valve. I called a few different top rated Angie's List companies to see if they were immediately available to repair these problems. Allied was able to come out to the house in an hour, fix all of the problems in a few hours (including some maintenance we had put off) and do it for a very reasonable fee. I highly recommended Allied for your sprinkler needs. They did great work for us in a stressful time.

Jim is very professional and for the most part prompt. He came out to see the work first and was on time and then he was to come out the following midweek but we did not hear from him until the end of the week to set up an appointment for the following week, this is the only slight negative I have to say of this company. He and his employees which also were professional at all times did a great job and solved what has been an ongoing problem on the sprinkler system for years. Jim found the issue and corrected it and they were very thorough in testing the entire system and repairing or adjusting where needed. I am very happy to have found them and will continue to use them in the future. Thank you for being determined to find and fix our sprinkler issues. We appreciate you. Our old control unit for the sprinkler system was almost 9 years old, and it had gotten to the point we could not turn the system off when it rained. I made the appointment, they told me when they would be here, then called when they were on their way. The husband / wife team introduced themselves, checked out the system, and described the 2 options and prices available on the rain sensor. When the work was completed, they took the time to show me how the new controls worked, the easiest way to open the new control box, explain what to expect from the rain sensor, and walk me through the different zones so that I could write each one down in the new control box. They also suggested a surge protector, which we purchased elsewhere, to protect the warranty on the control system. Very courteous and professional.

The crew called an hour before arrival to confirm I would be home. A 2 person crew arrived on time and had my working sprinkler heads adjusted plus replacing 2 broken sprinkler heads in less than an hour. After all the work was done they informed me of how I could improve the system, if I wanted to, in the future. No pressure to upgrade at all just suggestions. I will use them for all of my future sprinkler system needs.

I was looking for a good person to look at sprinkler issue I was having. I called Jim and he gave me some suggestions for the problems which I checked. Turns out it was a loose wire and he told me how to fix it and everything worked great. He was happy to help despite the fact he didn't even come out. He even recommended a store to replacing the failing part if I wanted to do that on my own. I think good, honest people like Jim are the BEST people to do business with and I will recommend everyone I can and know he isn't going to rip anyone off.

I initially contacted Jim (Allied Sprinkler) to obtain a quote and compared his quote with 2 other Sprinkler companies serving the greater Houston area. Jim had the most competitive price and offered the best warranty program out of all 3. Jim installed the entire system in one day! He left no mess and once he was finished he gave me a thorough walk through of all the sprinkler zones, what to do when there is threat of a pipe freeze, and how to program the rain-bird control panel. He is also extremely knowledgeable about the best times to program your sprinkler throughout the seasons and times of day. He has always been available to me if I had any questions and always returns a call promptly. Just the other day I ran over one of my sprinkler heads trying to back out of the driveway and he was kind enough to come out and replace the part without charging me. I highly recommend Jim. You just won't find that level of service at a great price elsewhere.

Allied arrived on time, replace the valves, raised and straightened the heads. They inspected the entire system. It all took about a hour. It was a very good experience working with Allied. The price was very reasonable for what was done.

I was impressed with the experience from beginning to end. Rusty quoted me a very fair price, got all the necessary city permits, they scheduled the job and showed up on time and did a great job installing the sprinkler system. The cleanup was impeccable and Rusty showed us how to use the system. I would definetly recommend Allied Sprinkler to anyone looking to install a sprinkler system.
