Wonderfully. Rodney and Kim (Rodney is brother to Jim Rockwell, owner of Allied S&P) came on time on Saturday. They reviewed each part of the system and checked for leaks (none - the problem was bad system design that prompted over-watering in one area and under-watering in an adjacent area because both were on the same cycle - this we aren't fixing - yet). They then want around examining each area and sprinkler head for appropriateness to each area and then set up my timer for the right time for each area on the new heads based on how much water each head-type throws - so several heads were swapped out and nozzles adjusted to fit to the area/watering time for the system as originally installed. They recommended looking at splitting off the areas into new cycles where a watering time for the cycle would not work for the entire area as originally installed, but also showed how to work around the problem by hand-watering. Just great as I have struggled with watering times for 6 months after buying this house, killing off mucho St. Augustine grass in the process. I now understand the outlines of watering time for my yard. Now I can be more self-sufficient. Could not recommend them more highly.

After finding Allied Sprinkler repairs on Angie''s List, I called and left a message for a call back. Jim (owner) called promptly back and appt was made. He called back following day when he needed to cancel and I rescheduled appointment for following day. The appointment was kept and he arrived on time as scheduled. On day of repairs, he arrived at scheduled appointment time. He repaired everything as assessed as needed in a very timely manner. He also explained thoroughly the new programmable control panel. My husband and I had excepted that a new sprinkler system would need to be installed since our system was 15+ years old. We anticipated $5,000. + for an installation of a new one. So I was very surprised when Jim (owner) suggested that he assess sprinkler and to see if it could be repaired before moving on to a new one. Jim's assessment was that it could be repaired! My system is working beautifully and we are so pleased to have Chosen such a reputable and fairly priced company to work with. Jim and his crew left my yard in prefect condition without any evidence that anyone had been working in my yard. Thank You Allied!!!!!

The owner showed up on time and he got his crew to work right away. They repaired and replaced the broken heads, balanced the entire yard coverage, replaced faulty rain auto shut off, added heads and appraised system. They were professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I could not be happier and would recommend them to anyone. I thought the price was also very fair.

The owner was very knowledgeable and great to work with. They were are very prompt, worked diligently all day, and did an outstanding job of cleaning up and explaining the new system. They fully explained and walked me through the work they had completed. Outstanding quality work, excellent product and warranty at a fair price. I highly recommend Allied.

On the first visit, one valve was replaced and two were repaired. Two weeks later the repaired valves leaked again plus a fourth. The second trip out was prompt and they had everything they needed on the truck. They didn't charge me the standard service call fee on the second trip, just labor and parts.

All work was completed to our total satisfaction. The crew showed up on time and started on the job right away. The owner and his workers were very courteous and would definitely contact the company again if we have any additional sprinkler repair needs. The cost of the repair services were very reasonable.

My sprinkler system had little to no pressure. I called Allied and they were able to come out the same day. I was very impressed with the whole process. Jim (the owner) and his team performed a complete diagnosis on the entire system until they identified why I had little to no pressure. They found a large screw had fallen into one of the drain zone pipes underground in the backyard, dug it up, and replaced. You could tell they knew exactly what they were doing. After they removed true screw and replaced, they tested the entire system to make sure all zones were functioning properly and replaced a few bad heads. They were extremely knowledgeable and were at the house for almost 2.5 hours. I would have never been able to troubleshoot this particular problem and resolve on my own.

Allied called within the prearranged appointment time and said they would arrive in 12 minutes. Right on schedule they showed up. It took only a minute or two (literally) to find the valves using an electronic device that scanned the ground as he walked, and started beeping when it got near the valve. it was where I would never have guessed it to be (although he knew right away about where to look). They then proceeded to fix the problem with the valve, since it was just a simple part replacement. They had a special tool that suctioned the water out of the hole while they worked. They were super professional, efficient, quick, and fixed it right the first time. I will definitely use Allied again if the need arises!

The field workers were great and communicated the issues well. They tightened one valve, rebuilt another and replaced a third. About 7 days later another valve failed and they returned to replace it and didn't charge me a second service call.

Service was well worth the cost. They called before the appointment and after the appointment to see if everything ok.

Jim and a crew of 5 arrived perfeclty on time. He first explained me how would he proceed and then methodically started his inspection. I am a mehanical engineer and i can tell he is very knowledgable and experienced. Within 30-40 min his team found and fixed the broken pipe, very impressive. Also, i was not expecting it but they checked all the system , straighten and replaced a couple of heads. On top of the effectiveness and quality of work, the cost was very reasonable to me. Highly recommended.

Jim arrived with a four man crew and a truck and trailer full of parts and tools. We discussed the leak location plus controls and zone layout. Then Jim started the sprinkler system and began checking each sprinkler. He then flagged each individual sprinkler that needed work. Each person went to his assigned duties very quickly and the work went smoothly. It was clear that all were experienced. The entire effort was completed in under an hour and the system works better than it has in a long time. They did arrive a little late, but that is the nature of someone who stays busy and stays on an effort until it is successfully completed. Choosing this organization is a good decision -- highly recommended. It can take a little time to get an appointment, but it is worth the wait. They will come back next week to add a below ground drain.

It went great, they were on time and did a good job. They are efficient and professional I will be calling them without hesitation next time there is work to do on my sprinklers that I can't take care of myself.

A husband and wife team came together. They got right to work when they came (which was within the 2 hours they projected). They went over the whole system and sorted out the two issues. They then cleared the rest of the system finding no other problems. She checked the individual nozzles and adjusted them while he ran the program at the box. They talked me through what I had (I moved into a house with a Rain Bird system in place) and what they were doing. There appear to be nozzles on my property that do not run with my system, including the one that was leaking (it had previously been capped but the cap was broken and so it began continuously spraying though the system was off). When I asked if I needed the irrigation from the nozzles that did not appear to be on my system, they did not try to sell me additional setup but told me I had enough going to cover the property. The cost for a hour's time the parts and work seems very reasonable, and with that they answered all my questions including about the proper schedule for my home environment in Houston. I was very pleased.

The entire experience was great. Mr. Rockwell responded immediately when I initially called. I did try other companies listed on Angie's list, but they did not answer or call back. Mr. Rockwell worked with me and scheduled me as soon as he could. Within less than a week, Rodney and Kim came out to repair the puncture pipes. Rodney answered all my questions and did not hesitate to provided candid feed back. For instance he strongly recommended not to have the yard irrigated with a machine again. He explained that it appear that the pipes were installed to shallow. He pointed out a anther area where the sprinkler pipes were exposed. Both Rodney and Kim worked very well together. Later he explained that Kim is his wife (very sweet lady). I was very impressed, she worked better than most men I know. I was worried with how much I was going to be charge for this repair. It was multiple punctures on over lapped pipes. The location of punctures was next to one of the largest trees on my properly (lots of roots). I was pleasantly surprised that the cost was very reasonable for the job. Will I call Allied again? I sure will. In addition I would recommend them to anyone. Rodney and Kim thank you very much. Jim Rockwell and crew installed a Rainbird sprinkler system at my home. They were professional, on time, and reasonably priced. In fact, my yard required an additional zone, but Jim held to the price he quoted for 5 zones - nice. They laid the lines out in the yard in a way that did not tear the entire yard up, and they cleaned up afterwards. Everything went smooth and as promised. I would definitely use them again.

First of all, I want to say that I rated a B on responsiveness only because I had to wait a couple of weeks before they could come out to give me an estimate, and anoyther couple of weeks to get the work completed. However, they were very busy which is understandable at this time of year. They arrived early, worked very diligently throughout the day. Finished up about 7pm that evening. Jimmy took the time to show us how to operate the system with no regard of the time and answered any questions we had. He said to call him in about a month and he would come back and check the system out entirely to make sure everything was working properly. He did that just a couple of days after I called him about it. Excellent contractor. Would definetely recommend him.

I called and left a message regarding an estimate for an underground irrigation system for front, back and both sides of my yard in early April. Allied had an Angie's List coupon. The owner, Jim, called me back the same day and scheduled an appt to come out 4 days later for the estimate. He called me shortly before our scheduled appt to let me know he was on his way, he arrived on time and provided the estimate, less the Angie's List coupon, at the end of our appt. He also provided information on the proposed system, references and explained he is a longtime small business owner. I called Jim again in late April to request a revised estimate, which he provided over the phone, after I noticed how much my neighbor's irrigation system waters one side of my yard. After that discussion, we scheduled the installation for his next available appt, May 21. I called him the afternoon of May 20 because the utility line locator hadn't been out yet to mark the utility lines (which they did mark late in the day) and Jim assured me that wouldn't delay the installation. He and his crew arrived on time as scheduled. Jim needed to leave a couple times during the course of the installation and his crew did a great job on the installation whether he was present or not. The entire crew and Jim were courteous and professional. It was an extremely hot day but they all worked diligently throughout the day to complete my installation the same day. A few additional sprinkler heads were installed at no extra charge. Once installed, Jim programmed my system, ran a test to show me where each station watered and where the sprinkler heads were located, educated me on how to change settings on the controller, showed me the main cutoff and how to drain the system to avoid freeze damage and answered the many questions I had on my new system. He asked for a copy of my survey in order to provide a diagram of the irrigation system which he would email within 2 weeks. Because he is extremely busy as a small business owner who personally supervises his crew, it took longer than that to get the revised survey and it required a revisit by Jim. Some sprinkler heads weren't diagrammed on the survey, because I couldn't be home to run the system when Jim was able to come back out. It was a really good experience and I'm very happy I chose Allied.

I called and set up an appointment over the phone. The 2 person team arrived 10 minutes early. We talked about my concerns and they dove in and looked at the entire system. Three sprinkler heads needed to be replaced. My control unit was acting intermittenty (at best) so I decided to replace the unit. All work was completed within an hour. The team working on my system was great.
