It's very easy to sum up our overall experience with Don and his team at DJs Custom Cabinets – they are simply the best home improvement contractor we’ve ever hired in 37 years of home ownership. Don built us new custom kitchen and family room cabinets, and there aren’t enough superlatives to describe the quality of the materials and craftsmanship of his work. He quoted us a fair price and delivered on time. An absolute pleasure to work with, Don is a consummate professional. He was always punctual for appointments and extremely responsive to communications - including patiently and thoroughly answering our many questions. His install team was also outstanding, and we couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen.

This was truly one of the best experiences with a contractor I’ve ever had. Don provided me with a very competitive quote, spent time going through all my questions, and delivered exactly what I was envisioning for my custom cabinets. I could not be more happy with the results. I’ve seen several reviews commenting on Don being a great communicator. This was outstanding…during my project Don was in the hospital for a heart procedure yet he was still contacting me immediately before and after and was my house two days later doing the install. Unbelievable! His crew was also great—very professional and careful. I will use Don again for future projects and have no hesitation recommending him to anyone looking for custom cabinets. DJ’s custom cabinets were amazing to work with! Don was very timely and responsive with communication, explained everything clearly, and did his best to work with our timeline. A few things came up along the way and Don was very quick to help us find solutions. A few weeks after the cabinets were installed, we realized a shelf was missing. We had painters scheduled for the next morning. Don answered my message immediately and had the shelf built and delivered it to us within a few hours! He is honest and trustworthy. The cabinets are absolutely beautiful and we couldn’t be happier with it! Our dream kitchen! We will definitely be calling Don again for future projects!

There are not enough good things I can say about DJ’s Custom Cabinets. After just 1 conversation with Don, I immediately knew I wanted to work with him. His customer service is impeccable. He was always quick to respond to my messages and is extremely polite. Don took his time to ensure I was getting exactly what I had envisioned for my home office. Don was amazing. After weeks of trying to find someone who would return my calls, Don called me back immediately. He continued to return all of my calls and texts and keep me updated throughout the project. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I was looking for. DJ’s Custom Cabinets was excellent from start to finish. They were prompt in responsiveness, able to execute our vision while offering recommendations, worked well with third party electrician, provided superior quality and even surprised us with extra features like desk drawers to hide keyboard and provided both legal size as well as normal size options in file drawers. Don and team, including installers were friendly and honest. Quality craftsmanship. We recommend this company without hesitation.

A big thank you to D J’s Custom Cabinets for the most perfect workmanship and service I have ever received!!! Tiny bedroom in need of a wow factor of space saving and functional storage. D.J.’s did it and it included soft closing drawer glides and adjustable shelving to boot! I have one excited young lady loving her bedroom makeover progress. My recommendation of D J’s Custom Cabinets includes prompt initial response time to my initial call and scheduled appointment, prompt quote time as promised, good pricing, delivery schedule, completion and installation as promised with text messaging updates along the entire process. The cabinets were delivered without any damages to our home or the cabinets. All employees were courteous as well. If you are needing cabinet work done, nothing compares to the care and expertise I just received. Can’t stop our happy dancing after today’s delivery and installation.

I’ve used Don to build, and install, custom built work in the three homes I’ve lived in. Over 10 years ago, I contacted Don to build a custom kitchen island that I designed. He built it and worked hand-in-hand with my granite guy to make sure the island was built and installed to my specifications. This time, I designed a full wall desk and book case. He built it exactly as I designed. His install team did a great job installing. Note: Don does not paint/stain the work. He finishes it to paint/stain grade. I can’t recommend Don Dockery enough. Remember: you get what you pay for.

From the bid, to the drafting of the design concept , to construction a d then installation everything was exceptional. All questions we had were answered immediately and professionally. But the absolute best part was walking into our new kitchen and seeing such gorgeous cabinets. The final product was simply breath taking. The craftsmanship is incredible! So happy with the decision to have custom cabinets built. Worth every dollar!

I ordered very high end custom cabinets with luxury wood, luxury finishes, and luxury detailing and Don absolutely nailed it!! No detail was left untouched or unthought of. I had the cabinets built to an un-standard dimension, with some un-standard details and literally they are perfection. Don built panel fronts for our custom fridge and freezer and they hide completely away! I can't recommend him highly enough for any of your cabinetry needs. Don was absolutely fabulous! He listened very carefully when discussing the various particulars of this cabinet, which were important to us. He also went far beyond the "call of duty" when making this cabinet and even suggested changes, which created more work for him plus more time spent on the cabinet (without raising the price). His pride in his workmanship was evidenced in the result of his product. He was very reasonable in his pricing and kept in close communication with us throughout this process. I hired Don because of the good reviews he had on the Internet and am so blessed to have found someone of his quality.
