DJ's Custom Cabinets

As part of our front office renovation I wanted to include a built-in bookcase in the design. After asking around for recommendations on custom cabinet makers, I decided to contact DJ’s Custom Cabinets for a quote. I spoke with Don and explained to him what I was wanting. He came by to take measurements and spent about an hour talking through the design and what would look/fit best in the space we were working with. Don made sure I approved of the layout and dimensions before starting construction – I believe his words were “I want you to be happy with the final product.” I’m not sure I have ever heard a contractor say that out loud! Communication was excellent and when it was time to install, Don and his team were promptly on-site the day and time he said they would be there. Installation was a breeze and everyone involved was professional, courteous, and had a good attitude. You can tell Don and his team are a well-oiled machine and that they have been in the business for a long time. I’m sure my bookcase project was a small job for DJ’s, but they took the time and care to make sure it was done right; it turned out exactly how I envisioned and I am beyond pleased with the final product!

Honest gentleman that installed quality custom cabinets In a timely fashion. I intended to get multiple quotes for a project and DJ was my first call. He came out and gave us some great ideas and a quick quote with multiple options. I was so impressed and assured after speaking to him that I didn't bother getting a second quote. Can't say enough good things about him or his cabinets.

Our first time to buy custom cabinets. Didn’t know where to start but I am an Engineer with 25 years in a STEM field - I know what a quality construction and process looks like. I cannot express how much we love the work Don, Steve, craftsmen, and install team did on our kitchen. Don and team conducted 2 site reviews to include a detailed measurement and CAD laydown. We had the opportunity to review, make changes, and make custom requests. Don’s been doing this for more than 20 years and he and Steve will help you with the 2-dozen details that you may not of thought about yet. He invited my wife and I to his fabrication building and showed us the cabinets during assembly. His carpentry process is pure-quality! Every cabinet is handmade, hand sanded, and hand assembled. Delivery and installation was flawless - Don, the owner was on site directing things. Don is moderately priced but worth every penny!

We had DJ's cabinets put in a Red Oak entertainment center in our media room in 2006. Don and his crew did an outstanding job. It’s ao beautiful unit. Over the years, we upgraded our TV unit from 70" to 75". Don modified the original frame to incorporate the new size. Again, outstanding work and frame matched beautifully with the 2006 unit. We have asked Don to now upgrade our wet bar cabinets with added shelves in the media room to match the look of the Entertainment Center he previously built for us. We were preparing to list our house and needed to replace a vanity in our guest bedroom. We were on a short timeline, but Don and his team graciously agreed to help. We had Don make our kitchen cabinets 5 years ago and we still love them! We just had him build our master bathroom cabinets and they are beautiful! I had requested a built-in fold away ironing board in a tower linen cabinet drawer. I shipped it to him and he installed it while building the cabinets. I am thrilled with it! He’s so easy to work with, professional, and makes quality cabinets..just a really great guy! We highly recommend him!

Looked around at several cabinet builders for the remodel I was doing for my kitchen. A few things stood out in the whole process The initial price was in line with other builders but what stood out was he uses plywood boxes not higher grade particle. My walls were just studs. When the cabinets were installed it was a great fit which was a relief due to all the moving parts. He understood what I was asking made suggestions without being pushy. I am pleased with his suggestions and think it looks great. The install seemed to go pretty smoothly, the crew showed care to maintain quality. The cabinets turned out well, fit well. The sink fit perfectly into cabinet. Love the soft close drawers and doors. I will use them again for the master bath and closet when it's time for that. I highly recommend them.

I requested DJ cabinets to review my cabinet plans for suggestions and quote. I met Don at his shop and he reviewed my plans, offered suggestions, price point options, showed me the projects they were currently working on. Items that were standard in his build however increased price in the other bids I got were the slow close components and the solid frame of the box part of the cabinet. Don explained the different wood options that would most likely meet my hopeful outcome ( clean lines and continuous wood grains) Don gave me a quote and a expected install date. He met both of those. DJ custom cabinets kept me informed thru the build process, asking and confirming questions., The cabinets were beautiful Don and his install crew take great pride in every aspect of the cabinet build, they appreciate a happy customer and it tells as they truly are a joy to work with and produce a fantastic cabinet for a very competitive price. It's been great to see how proud a contractor is of his workmanship and makes me feel we made a great decision using DJs Custom Cabinets.

I am thrilled with our new, custom Shaker cabinets! Don, and his crew, was great to work with. We are remodeling ourselves without a builder contractor, and Don worked easily with our other trades in the house and with our layman cabinet drawings to start his measurements/CAD drawings. He still met our timeline and that was after adding an additional room that got sprung on us last minute! The install went professionally and on time as well :) I can’t wait to see the final product when we paint and stain. Highly recommend.

DJ's worked with me to create a built in office. It turned out beyond my hopes - fully customized to my needs. DJ's was responsive, worked with my wish list, and built a solid well made desk and wall system. Great communication too!

Don and team did phenomenal work. They built and installed a beautiful bookshelf and huge sliding barn-style door at the top of our staircase. It looks absolutely amazing. Don and his team handled everything extremely professionally, did all the initial measurements quickly and completed the build on everything super quick, the install was exactly on time and perfectly done. They took our initial ideas and brought it to life. I will certainly be using them again for future projects and I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for cabinet / wood work.

Fantastic! Don’s wood-work is incredible. Even more impressive was his professionalism, responsivenes and attention to detail. When we had even the smallest question or input on our project, Don would immediately reply to address the issue. The entire team does amazing work. Draftsman Clayton is remarkably talented with a keen eye for design. Beau, Nick, Clay and Michael did a great job on installation day. Thank you to the entire DJ’s Custom Cabinet team for all your excellent work and for being so easy to do business with. They will be the first company we call when we remodel our next room with more cabinets and shelving.
