Service went well with no issues.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for Tempo Mechanical Services. I thought they were a bit more expensive than I had anticipated. I told them that and they said they would call Angie's List and have them refund the $50. The work was good, there was no problem with it.

All of Temp's technicians are highly trained, knowledgeable, neat, courteous and everything you would hope for. On 5/3/13 my last service day the technician not only was on time, he found the problem immediately, had a part on his truck and completed the job in a most reasonable time frame. They always answer questions and spend time explaining things you are concerned about.

Having had a tune-up of my 3 systems by another recommended company on Angie's list I had a quote for a new evap coil that was leaking - which apparently shouldn't have happened on a 5 year old system that isn't used very much. Having had a quote from the servicing company to repair it I called Tempo to get their pricing, imagining that it would be more competitive ad they originally supplied the system. in fact it was very expensive - almost double. My contacts on the phone were not very courteous and didn't instil much confidence.

They provided us with the best hypo-allergenic air filters you can get. They are affordable and they provide you with a detailed report of everything. They do a very good job.

The service turned out well. They are always on time and call ahead of time. They have great communication and do a good job overall.

The service was fantastic. They have great customer service and are curteous. I have been happy with their work.

They have been pretty honest and straight forward. Their service has been good so far.

As we entered the hottest part of the Texas summer, both our upstairs and downstairs AC systems went out. My parents used Tempo in the past and were very pleased, so I gave them a call. I made an appointment and Tempo sent Anthony to look at our systems and provide some options and quotes. Anthony was punctual, professional, and friendly. He showed us many issues with our current system and provided several options at different price points. Once we made our selections, we set up an appointment with Tempo for the following week to install the units. Just like Anthony the team was professional and punctual. The kept our home clean and did a great job. We almost certainly could have found a less expensive contractor, but I also believe sometimes you get what you pay for. Our systems are working great and are much more efficient that our previous units. I believe they were also installed better than the previous system and the duct work is more efficient. Tempo has also followed-up with free appointments to be sure systems are operating properly. I think Tempo really knows what they are doing. If you want a quality job, this is a company you can count on.

They were excellent. They were prompt and they were very efficient about what they did. They were very ethical when performing their work. They were very thorough.

They came out same day, installed new water heater and plumbed it to code (which it was not). Technician was very pleasant, patient and personable. He tolerated a house of of guests, little children running around.

Everything went well. No additional services were needed or recommended.

Requested a service call to fix my broken AC/Heating. The service technician was very professional and polite, he arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the root cause to a broken thermostat. It was an easy fix and I requested that he install a new thermo. He went to the van to get one and made a few phone calls to get exact pricing on the service, he then returned with a quote - $460.00! I obviously declined and went down to the Homedepot where I bought one for $19.99, the instructions enclosed were easy enough to follow and soon my heating was working again. I didn't know it would be that easy. Come to think of it, I don't know why Tempo quoted me such an exhorbitant figure, before doing the job myself I would probably have paid them upto $100.

Service call was performed the same day. Problem was identified and recommendations provided. The work was performed as agreed to in a timely manner.

He came just hours after I called and had all the parts needed and even offered choices. He worked quickly and cleaned up after himself. He gave me suggestions to keep my system running and cleaned, respectfully without forcing more services on me. He discussed the cost with me before performing the services. He was very kind and professional.

Tempo Mechanical Services were very very good. They are very efficient and clean. They replaced our entire HVAC system. They were hear within day of our call, they came out a week later for a walk through. They were just great. They were clean. The city came out for our permit and they also said everything was cleanly done. Normally when they have to tromp through your house with tools and equipment they will get the carpets and floor dirty, but Tempo Mechanical Services did not. They were very clean. They were extremely good. I would certainly use them again in the future.

The payment is on a monthly basis. They would check the unit before we change over to AC and then they would check it before we switch over to the heating part of it. I signed up for that plan and that plan is pricier than the other plans that I have dealt it, but we need this one checked more than the other ones so it kind of balances out.

They are very knowledgable. Their workers are nice people. They do a very good job.

The gentleman was nice and knowledgeable. He was determined to make sure he fixed it. He handled my frustrations well and got done what needed to get done. He was careful and made sure I understood what he was charging me for. He didn't try to gouge me, but was fair in what he charged me for. They were fairly responsive. I found them on Angie's List. I thought the price was very fair. I don't need to use them again because I replaced the entire system and have a warranty with someone else.

He was very knowledgeable...he answered a lot of my questions. He was very good at explaining everything. He was very good and responsive...he returned all of my calls and emails promptly.

He did ask me to contact to Tempo directly. When I did, the secretary was extremely rude telling me that the warranty was voided because I had the inspection. I explained to her that this was ridiculous since I would never have known that I had the problem if I never had gotten the inspection. She finally said that she was going to charge me even though I had a warranty and it was less than one year since the house was built. When the technician arrived, he did go in the attic and fix the leak. He assured me that the water collection pan was cleaned. When I did go back into the attic, I found that the technician had not even mopped up the water in the pan and did not clean the rust as a result the water sitting in the pan for some time. I am going to have to go to Home Depot this weekend to clean things up despite having a warranty on a house that is less than one year old. Thank God for Angie's List. I would never have found this problem if I did not take advantage of the inpection special. Who knows how much worse I would have been treated and what cost I would have incurred if my warranty had run out. Tempo did come out a second time and fix the leak. However, I did incur damage to my ceiling and my wood floor. The repair was made by Tempo including a new collection pan installment free of charge. My builder did also have to come in and repair my ceiling and damage to the wood floor free of charge. However, there was extra time and labor needed to fix the repair that could have prevented.

In my opinion, the people at Tempo Mechanical are crooks and attempted to steal both from me and from the manufacturer of the air-conditioners. I contracted Tempo Mechanical with a one -year service contract on 7 rental houses. I chose them because on 4 of the houses they had installed the AC units as they were contracted by the builder. These houses were new houses when I bought them. I continuously had problems with 3 of the 4 air conditioners that they installed in the first two years. Pretty unusual. One seemed to never get the temperature correct. Tempo came out 4 or 5 times on that one house and kept telling me there was nothing wrong with it and the tenant was complaining for no reason. The tenant moved and the next tenant complained about the same thing. On the last time Tempo came out, it miraculously got fixed. That was when they recommended a service contract and said these problems would have been caught if I had one. I foolishly bit. Virtually every time they did an inspection, something was wrong with one of my air-conditioners that needed to be fixed. I kept paying to do it. Most recently on two houses they told me that the coils were bad and needed to be replaced. They said the coils were under warranty, but I would have to pay the labor which was about $2,000 each. I got suspicious. So I called another AC place. Here's what I found out. Neither coil needed to be replaced. They just needed to be cleaned. Cost - about $350 each. One house, of which Tempo installed the unit, the water drain pan was installed incorrectly and was at angle causing problems. My AC guy reinstalled it and didn't charge me, so I knew he wasn't lying. He also told me that Tempo's service people are paid on commission. They have an incentive to find things wrong because that's how they make more money. I am taking this one step farther and reporting them to Carrier, the manufacturer of the AC unit, which they were going to try to bill for two new coils. Stay away from Tempo Mechanical!!!

We received a recommendation to use Tempo Mechanical from Darling Homes, a Dallas/Houston home builder. Tempo assessed our air conditioning system after it stopped working. The technician attempted a temporary fix just to get it working again but the fix was not possible. He offered two options: fix the current system or replace it. Since the air conditioning system was more than 15 years old and had serious defects, we made the decision to replace it. Tempo initially looked at several possible ways to install a new system, and after their assessment; they decided that a more thorough evaluation was needed. Anthony Piñero did a thorough analysis of our present system: the configuration of the house and the heat load on the house. After his analysis was complete, he gave us several options for the new system. This included a summary of his heat load analysis and photographs of our old system. We picked the system that best met our needs. The installation crew removed the old system, the old duct work and installed the new duct work and air conditioning system. The installation was challenging and required working in the crawl space under the house. The crew was professional in all their work and very thorough. They kept us informed of the progress throughout the job. The new air conditioning system works well. The temperature is now evenly controlled throughout the house; it was not with the previous system. Previously, we noticed a stale air smell in the house, with the new system the smell is gone due to the new duct work. Even with 105degree outside temperature, the new system is easily capable of cooling our house. We highly recommend Tempo Mechanical. We trust their judgment and their professional approach to assessing and installing a major piece of equipment. Their staff is courteous, always helpful and completely trustworthy. They are well trained and know their work. We know that we received good value for our investment by using Tempo Mechanical.

The service has been good. I was extremely impressed with their installation scheme. Our air conditioning went out about two years ago in June and we had just hit a spike in the temperature. They worked 10-11 hour days in our attic in the heat to get it running again. They completely redid the duct work and other things. They keep a tight rein on their employees and I trust them.

We are very happy with them and we have had no problems. Their responsiveness is good.
