Description of Work: Lifted tree canopies and trimmed approximately 400 linear feet of trees that met the sidewalk/ property border. Mike Hernandez did an excellent job and many neighbors came outside and hired him on the spot (they used me as the service guinea pig and liked what they saw apparently :-) )

Description of Work: Sal Ruiz, the owner of the company, came out to my property in Arlington on March 17th and wrote up an estimate listing the work detail and cost of grinding five tree stumps, and a small tree on our property. It was a pleasant visit, and at the end he told me that they wouldn't be able to do the job until the following week due to other work orders. Ok, fine. After that week passed, I called Sal's landscaping on the March 26th and was told by a receptionist that he would call me back to schedule a time. Didn't hear anything for five days. I then called once more on the 30th, and was told the same thing, to which i said if he doesn't call back by the end of the day, I was going contact a different tree service company. I even left a message on Sal's cell phone. No response. Basically, our job wasn't lucrative or worthwhile enough to warrant a simple and courteous call back. They just left us hanging. Completely unreliable, unprofessional, and in my mind, unacceptable business behavior. I would never recommend Sal's to anyone, and will tell all of my friends and colleagues that unless your job costs at least $400.00 they won't call you back.

Description of Work: Fixed a leak in line in front yard & replaced one sprinkler head. However, dirt & debrie entered the line during repair, causing two mist sprinkler heads on the far side of the house between a berm & retainer wall (not visible unless you are by them) to run nonstop for 2 days, flooding the front yard! When we noticed the flooding, we unplugged the sprinkler system but the two heads kept spraying because of the debrie. Had to call the city to come turn off our water until we could get the line fixed. So we went without water for a day. Took the company a day to return our calls. Finally they came out & fixed it. Water bill was $350 because of the two heads running for two days.

Description of Work: The company provided an estimate to trim trees for my mother. The time and date was agreed Friday March 28, 2014. The next day my mother received a call from Sal who indicated he could do the work two days earlier due to a high chance of rain on the previously agreed upon date. This, however, was not correct. The new date showed a higher chance of rain which was not fine for my mother. She call Sal to have them come out on the original date. However, Sal indicated he had another job scheduled. When a commitment is made it should be adherred to. Not doing so due to a better offer is not good business. Angela
