Description of Work: My water pipes had frozen in a newer home! They did not have pipes covered or enough insulation. EAS came in and reviewed my home, gave me an estimate and date to install. They were wonderful. They are a little higher than some of their competition but well worth the little extra. I decided on them after speaking with friends and findout out that is who they had do their work and they were very satisfied. They came in, kept things clean as they worked, worked very effeciently and then did a wonderful job of cleaning up before they were done. They also had me do a walk thru with then and explained things and also asked if the clean up met with my approval. YES IT DID! It was cleaner than before they started. I can tell you that I have already seen benefits with my electric bills and use of my air conditioner. Winter of course was better but did not have much of winter left to judge. I am excited to know that my electric bills will be lower this summer and my pipes will remain working due to the great job this team did. I highly recommend EAS. At least get an estimate and speak with them before making a final decision. You will not be disappointed.

 + -1 moreI was upset because they charged me twice for a part of the work and we had to reschedule the appointment a couple of times. I am still disputing the $200 dollars they overcharged. I wouldn't hire them again.
Description of Work: I had them make my attic more energy efficient. They installed new turbines as well as a radiant barrier.

 + -1 moreThey did a really good job! In fact, we had two gable fans that were damaged when they installed the insulation and they replaced the fans at no cost. Some of the insulation got into the fans. They are a great company to business with and are very professional.
Description of Work: They sprayed about 12 inches of additional insulation into the attic of our 1700 square foot home. They also added a radiant barrier on the inside of the roof. It is suppose to keep the sun's rays out of the house.

 + -1 morePlease note that the price we paid was lower than the regular price because they gave us 5 inches of R11 insulation for free when we bought the radiant barrier. We paid for extra insulation in addition to the free stuff. We feel that the barrier and insulation is a good investment in our home. We are satisfied with the work, however I have to say that we had them come out a second time to spray the insulation again. The job that the first crew did on it was very poor. When we called to complain they sent someone out to look at it. He agreed that the job was not done right and a different crew came out at our convenience to add the insulation that we had paid for. The first crew was pretty crude (my husband heard some raunchy conversation They said they were tired from partying the night before ) and we could tell by the job they did. The second crew made up for it, though. We are satisfied customers. My survey answers (below) are for the 2nd crew, not the first.
Description of Work: EAS sprayed radiant barrier on the underside of our roof and sprayed cellulose insulation in our attic. Our house is 1400 sq ft.

 + -1 moreWhen we set the appointment, they came out promptly to take a look at the job, took measurements and had a price quote right there on the spot. They were on time the next week when they came out to do the work. The service ran very efficiently and it ended up costing much less than I had anticipated.
Description of Work: They insulated our attic. They used a radiant barrier which serves as a reflective shield that repels off the summer heat. Our home is 2500 square feet to give you a rough idea of the space of our attic.

 + -1 moreThe sales and estimation process went easily, but it was a little difficult getting the work done;they use different crews for each stage, and we had to reschedule a couple of times due to delays, not showing up on time, etc. One of the crews (installed the insulation) were young men, who spent a good deal of time smoking and cursing despite our having a 3-year old in the house.
