I was able to get a same-day appointment and the technician had a water heater in his truck. Although I did not select the particular unit, it was of comparable quality of the one being replaced. The old unit was removed and the new unit installed in a couple of hours. I was given a packet of information with the installation and the technician went over instructions and cautions, how to request parts or service and went over the warranty on the water heater and on the installation. There was a 30-day free call-back warranty on the installation which I had to exercise due to a small leak in the copper pipes sweated together with a coupling. The next day they came out again (different technician) and the problem was corrected free of charge. The day after that the city inspector arrived and approved the work. Overall I think the service went well andI was able to get the work completed in the time I wanted, more quickly than the time expected.

They did a real good job. I would recommend them to others. Everything they have done for me has been good. Their employees are well trained, and they are very courteous. I haven’t felt uncomfortable with them.

It turned out ok. My biggest complaint with them was the price. They were very prompt, and in their diagnosing of the issue. They came out in a timely fashion, and they completed it in a timely fashion. They answered any questions that I had.

Called them since there was a sticker on my sink cabinet from when they did work to unstop a clogged toilet drain a few years ago. This time, kitchen sink would not drain. Previously used drain cleaner, and, after that did not work, removed the PVC pipes and snaked the drain myself, which still did not fix the problem. Called ARS and was told someone would call me that day with a 30 to 40 minute window to stop by. Received the call approx. 3 mins after speaking with the first person. Plumber did not show up until approx 1.5 hours after the "30 to 40 minute" call. What he lacked in punctuality, he sure make up for in skill and professionalism. Ended up having to get on the roof to snake the drain, which worked. Have determined this is something I will need to have done prob. once every few years so I'll definitely use them again.

ARS was contracted through my warranty with AHS. I had a non contracted plumber tell me there were some issues in my older home. I filled a claim with AHS to have the issues confirmed. ARS was originally scheduled to arrive on Friday Feb 8th between 12:00-5:00pm. Their technician Terry arrived at 5:10pm. He did not introduced himself and gruffly insisted that I "take care of those dogs before any work gets done." At that point I went through what the initial plumber had told me. Terry responded that "there is no way AHS is going to pay for a repair like that." He continued to be rude and disrespectful as he looked at the remaining problems to the point where I heatedly insist he leave immediately. I have never been treated so poorly in my home by a service technician of any type as I was that day. I called ARS to complain and was told that all mangers leave at 5pm. I asked that I be called first thing Monday morning by a manager. On Monday, Feb 11th, I finally had to call ARS. I spoke with one of the managers, Bobby. He apologized and then booked my appointment with a senior technician. On Friday, Feb 18th ARS called at 2:20pm to tell me their technician was enroute. At 4:10pm, I called back to se where the tech was. I was told that the dispatch had sent Terry back to my house and when he figured it out, dispatch simply cancelled his visit. I never received a call and was told that no other plumbers were available. I asked to again speak to a manger and I was told they were all gone (at 4:20pm). But last week they all left at 5pm? Sure thing ARS. From top to bottom, this company is an embarrassment of a business. Customer service is absolutely their lowest priority and they will do nothing to remedy a concern. I cannot fathom the disaster that awaited me had I actually had them do repairs.

It was very frustrating. We had a leak so we had to take action immediately. They did good work but charged at least 500 dollars too much. I feel like they took advantage of the situation.

ARS was sent to me through AHS warranty. Part of the problem is with AHS warranty. They rarely cover any of the repairs I need to have made. However, ARS sent the technicain out. The bathroom tub was spewing up black material when I would flush my toilet. He put a snake down to clear the drain. Once he left it did the exact same thing again, I called right away and they sent him back. He was certainly nice enough but said he would have to get on the roof to clear the lines through the vent. When I asked how much he would charge, he quoted a price. He called the office to check it out and they told him he couldn't do the work. So I spent $60 to cover the warranty co-pay and didn't even get any help with my problem. What company doesn't let their technicians on the roof to clear a stoppage. Huh? Many of the older homes in this area don't have ground floor piping. Why send a person out if they aren't allowed to fix it. ARS offered no solution and left. The technician was willing to do the work but I was given no reason why he coudln't do it. Really? Oh well there are plenty of plumbers who can do this work in Dallas. I didn't give them a F becuase the technician seemed like a good guy and my home warranty isn't helpful. I"m sure they do good work fixing other things.

I have a ceramic tile shower and they told me I would have to tear the shower and closet out in order to make access and they would not get on the roof to replace the vent pipe. I ended up cutting a larger hole around the area the vent pipe fell through and had to repair the hole myself. I'm not sure why they couldn't have cut the hole themselves, or if they didn't know what they were doing. If this had happened to someone else that didn't know how to do that type of work, it could had cost them several hundreds of dollars.

Ron Cagle with ARS rescue rooter came out this morning to do our annual heating system check up. We've been working with them for about two years now. They are very responsive to our needs and questions. Ron was very professional and knowledgeable. They clean up after themselves taking dirty filters with them and always wearing the blue booties to not track anything in. He explained every step that he performed and the details of our service plan.

My waterheater sprung a leak and was pouring out water. We could not get the water to shut off. I called ARS and told them I need someone immediately and was told they had someone available and they would send them immediately. After 20 minutes we finally got the water shut off. Over an hour after I called we still did not have a plumer so I called again and was told that someone would be there in 15 minutes. Since the water was turned off we cancelled them for the evening and told them to send someone the next day. I received a call at 8:30 A.M. asking if it was a good time to come out and I told them yes. A plumber showed up an hour later. The work performed was good. I though the price was high. The service tech was professional but if you need service fast DO NOT call ARS

Called ARS about 10:30 A.M., they said they would have a tech at my house in less than 3 hours. I did not believe them so I went to eat and they called me durring that lunch ( less then an hour from when I had hung up the phone). The office help had me call back once I was finished with my lunch. I did and she sent a tech to my house with in a half hour. The tech found a bad capacitor in the outside unit. He oked the price with me and replaced the capacitor. The unit is cooling again and the tech was finished and gone in less then 45 minutes.

I think it went well. We haven't had a problem since.

They are always good. They are really, really prompt and quick at getting people out here especially in an emergency.

They came out and gave me an estimate for a 1.5 ton ductless mini-split from Mitsubishi Electric. First thing's first, the salesman was really arrogant saying his company was the best and no one else is as qualified as they are to do this type of work. His estimate was way off (too high) compared to other much better rated installers (including several mitsubishi diamond contractor rated installers). My gut said no all the way around with the sales pitch which was 30 minutes long. At one point he asked the question to me during the sales pitch "Why would home depot trust us to provide services for them". All I kept saying in my head was that ARS provided the lowest bid when home depot bidded this kind of work out. He kept saying how great his company was but after he left, the real truth on angies list showed they were far from the best (I was wondering why he didnt mention angie's list as one of the places where they are rated well). The salesman had the pitch down but didnt have any idea how much anything cost or the logistics of the installation process. He had to call a "supervisor" to get prices on the product in order to get my price estimate to me. That seemed like an old car salesman trick to me by having to go to a supervisor. I also had a question on the electric line for the unit. It was a simple question if it was a 120 or 240V line that was needed and whether I had to have an electrician furnish it or whether it was included in the price of the installation. He said he wasnt sure but a new electric line probably would not have to be run, they could tap an existing wall circuit. This was a huge red flag for me because the National Electric Code requires mini splits and other air conditioners of this size on a dedicated circuit. Maybe he didnt know but that seemed to be a standard question that he should be able to answer being a salesman. Most people dont have a unused dedicated 240 electric line in the attic waiting for installation of a ductless mini-split system. So if people are wanting a ductless mini split installed. Part of the installation would require electric line installation, so the sales man should know the answer to the question. Well he left months ago after doing the estimate but they continue to bother me with phone calls about service plans and such. I have asked them four separate occasions when they call to remove me from the list. All four times I have been given the response that they would comply and remove me from future callings. Well they called me today again and I have had it. It's amazing that I have done business with more than 30 contractors in the last year with getting estimates or actual work but these guys are the only ones that call and pester me asking for their business. These people know nothing about customer service. They are just looking for the next person to give them money and their reputation on Angie's List reflects that.

They were good job and did the job right. Their price was good. They were honest with me. The duct work and filter system were there only from the last one year so they stuck with them which was good. I liked everything about their service. They were very efficient. I like honest and would pay a little bit more for that. They finished up doing a good job. Their responsiveness was excellent. They did what they said they would do. They were very professional.

I would highly recommend them. They did a good job. The service technician gave me a lower price than the salesman. The price I got was very good. They found a coupon for me so I could get a better price. They went above and beyond.

They would not refund me and I had to pay $8000 for the furnace and air conditioner to be replaced. They are the worst. They said they would guarantee their work, but when I tried to get my money back they refused to give it back.

The crews arrived on time and went straight to work. They placed drop cloths on the floor from the front door to the attic access door. Removing old insulated ductwork is a very messy job, but they were very careful and totally cleaned up afterwards, both inside the house and outside in the yard. In addition to replacing the ductwork, they suspended the heater, which had been installed on the floor of the attic, and now we don't hear the heater when it is running. Except for having to vacuum (old insulated ductwork sheds and fine particles go everywhere) after the crews left, we had to do very little cleanup. Outside, we couldn't even tell that the yard had been covered with debris, because they bagged up and carted everything away. While they were working, they were very quiet, polite, and always answered our questions without making us feel ignorant for asking.

I called the company in the morning because the shower, tub, and toilet in our master bath were stopped up. The plumber arrived within a few hours. He was able to use the clean-out to snake the line clean. The service was guaranteed for 90 days. So far, there has been no recurrence of the blockage. The clean-out was $200. The plumber also provided a container of their preventative drain cleaner at no additional cost. The company sent another technician to view the drain with a camera to determine the cause of the backup. He pointed out build up in the line and recommended jet cleaning the entire house. He quoted a price of $600 to do the service during this call or $800 at a later date. We declined this service. The plumber also replaced the stopper in the tub that was no longer holding water. This service cost another $200. Their prices are high, but they do good work and respond quickly. Next time I need a plumber, I will search for one that can provide the service for a lower cost.

they were sent to our home by American Home Shield to inspect the water heater, which they did do. However once the plumber determined the problem was a water leak, he refused to do anything except advice me to call my insurance company. glad I only paid him my 60.00 deductable on AHS.

The heater was not working. It turned out that it needed maintenance work. I would recommend them because they are on time and they do a good job. They do a professional and quality work. I will use them again.

I will never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

I was furious at wasting my time and money for nothing at all.
