Work wa completed as expected

Travis showed up on time and diagnosed the problem with the electric gate opener. He had to order the part and came back the next week to install it. Works like a charm.

I was impressed by the young fellow that came to our home. He was professional in our intereaction. He made sure the timing on the gate opening and closing was spot on and cleaned the electronics box upon replacing the control board. Our gate using solar energy. Some businesses try to talk people into replaceing to non-solar power. This fellow did not try to sell me anything, just repaired and completed the job at hand. I would recommend this business. I asked for additional business cards to give to our neighbor's who have electronic driveway gates.

Alan was able to determine the root cause for the failure, and repair it within minutes. The failure was bad unused circuit board connected to another board. In addition to that the wire connector between two boards were chewed up by rodent(s). Alan informed us measures to keep rodents away in future, and also told us way to properly maintain the gate chain's life.

Our iron fence had a pair of swing gates at the end of our driveway which, at some time in the past, must have been run in to and then badly repaired (cabinet grade hinges replaced the ones welded on originally) causing sagging. Alan was out within a day of being called to give an estimate and described what needed to be done (even pointing out a misplaced downspout and how that affects the gates). He showed up right when he said he would (we got in early because of some cancellations) and had both gates properly rehung within just a few hours. He even added a missing stop that had never been there as it should have been. Wonderful guy to chat with too.

Fast, efficient and very affordable.

I called on Wednesday and set up an appointment for Thursday. Alan was on time (a few minutes early which make me HAPPY). He was professional, friendly, and super helpful explaining the operating system of my gate. The gate is now working GREAT! If anything goes wrong with the gate in the future I will for sure call Alan to fix it!

The experience was great. Alan showed up exactly on time and quick diagnosed the problem (our chain was dried out and needed to be replaced). Alan was able to re-fit it with a new chain and provided instruction on how to maintain it better to extend the life of the new chain. He was very quick and efficient and our gate is back to 100% functionality now.

We were very impressed with Alan. We wanted someone who would at least give our old gate a try at repairing. He didn't give us the hard sell on a new gate, but actually spent a lot of time trying to rehabilitate the old one at our request for a very low service charge. When it was apparent to both of us that a new gate would be necessary, he was prompt and professional at getting in installed. He took away the old unnecessary electrical parts of the old gate and left everything tidy. Not only do we have a great new working gate, but the whole area looks better too! We highly recommend Alan and his company and will use him in the future should the need arise.

Alan responded within one day of my call with an early morning appointment. He showed up on time, slightly early actually, and got to work right away. He diagnosed the problem on my automatic gate, replaced the battery, greased the hinges and gave me a quick tutorial on the maintenance and expected life cycle of the automatic gate mechanism. He was finished in about 15 minutes and had all necessary parts in his truck. He was polite and professional, respectful of my time.

Alan responded in one day and was easily able to pinpoint the problem. He noticed our gate needed oil and provided the supplies for that as well as showed me what needed to be done to avoid future damage. Alan is helpful and knowledgeable.

Alan was very professional, friendly, and conscientious. He repaired the control board on my gate and made appropriate adjustments to make sure the gate worked properly. He knows what's he's doing (he said he's been doing gates for over 18 years).

He was able to come look at my fence/gate & fix my problem the next day after I called. He was early to his appt and came ready with the needed parts based on our conversation the day before. In addition to replacing my wheels with better, maintenance-free wheels, he greased my chain, checked my motor/battery explained how to maintain it all, and even patched up my breaking fence where it was straining the motor. All this in under 1 hour. He was competitively priced: final bill = estimate. Seemed very knowledgable and experienced (does the work for Love Field & been in the business for 18+ yrs).

Quick response. The opener really needed to be replaced, but no hard sell from technician. Pleased with overall experience. Will call them first when ready to replace opener.

He was able to find a used receiver because the gate opener is so old that I would have had to replace it to put on a new receiver, which was a good thing. He was honest and on time. He made good recommendations that wouldn't necessarily make him money but would help to save me money.

The gate had stopped working and Alan made a simple adjustment to correct the problem.

Alan arrived on time and quickly identified the problem. Not only did he get the operating mechanism working again, he also greased the hinges and repaired a cracked weld. Both the gate and controller work better than they did when they were installed. I will undoubtedly call on him again if we ever have another problem.

Found Alan's Gate on Angie's list after reading through all reports. Called and left a message Monday morning and my phone call was returned immediately. They said they could be at my house between 10-11 the following day. On Tuesday Alan called when he was on his way and said he would be there at 10:15. He examined the gate and determined it was the drive pulley that was broken. Tried to repair the old one at first but was unable and therefore installed a new one. With the new pulley and some oil on the chain, our gate now works perfectly and quietly!! Also want to mention that during the time he was repairing the gate we had a big thunderstorm come through. He worked right through the thunderstorm which I thought was very nice but did make me a little nervous for him! I will be calling them again if I have any other gate or fence repairs.
