Description of Work: My gate was acting up and opening then closing without stopping. Alan showed up on time and took care of problem, made a few adjustments and visited with me about the overall condition of the gate. Great guy, very nice and honest!

Description of Work: Electronic gate.....wouldn't close in the rain. They built a custom cover for the sensor, gave the gate an overall tune up, and came back promptly when I was still having problems. They were wonderful! I will use them again, and recommend them to all my friends!!

Description of Work: Electric Driveway Gate would not open/close. Alan's Gates immediately returned call from message left and repairman was out the next day as promised. Checked all components, cleaned out where rodents had nested in units, checked power to units and satisfactorily fixed the problem.

Description of Work: We called them because we had just bought this house and it seemed the gate was running rough. The serviceman did a general inspection of the gate, lubricated it, programmed our cars so that we could open and close it without having the clip-on remote control we were given, installed a keypad on the outside of our garage wall, and programmed three keychain remotes we purchased from them. |All went well. We really liked the serviceman who came out as well as the person who answered the phone at Alan's gate and scheduled our appointment. |We will use them again when we need them. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: They did a checkup of my large sliding gate. They arrived on time and finished early. The technician was willing to go into detail all the things that he did and future maintanance I should do if I wanted too.

Description of Work: Alan's Gates came to my house to repair a problem I had with my alley gate. They were on time, and gave me an accurate estimate before the work was done. They had all of the tools, welding equipment, and meters needed on their truck. The work was performed quickly and professionally. They were friendly and courteous. I will definitely use them again when I need my gate serviced.

Description of Work: Alan is amazing. We have been using him for a couple of years. My only regret is that we didn't get him to install/build the gate to begin with. He fixed a couple of design flaws from the original fence company construction and has kept our maintenance since then. He is a great guy who is reliable and knows his stuff.

+ 0 moreMy drive gate had stopped working because the solar panel was not getting sufficient sunlight to keep the battery charged to operate it. Alan ran electrical to a nearby outlet, installed a smaller battery to make it easier for me, and installed a charging unit to keep the battery available for emergency use of the gate (when power goes out). The work was done quickly and professionally and a thorough cleanup job performed before he left.
Description of Work: Changed opener mechanism on iron driveway gate from solar powered to run on AC with battery backup.
