MIDNIGHT HOUR MOVING

A team of four moved me from my larger house to a new townhome in 5 hours, including moving a baby grand piano and a sizable library. They were polite, efficient and performed exactly as I hoped. I would definitely recommend Midnight Hour Moving to anyone.

The move went exactly as planned and promised.

I have used them probably more than anybody else. They just do what they say they are gonna do. I am pretty pleased with their services. They are my moving company record now. My move with them usually runs from $100 to $600. They are about 20% cheaper than people that offer a similar service. The quality of their work is good. The owner calls every 5 minutes to check whether every move is done and making sure that everything is okay. I don’t know if he does it to everybody, but I get a call every time. One of the reasons I use them is that they respond either that day or the next day. They are very prompt. I will be probably calling them next week as I have some more work to be done.

They did a good. First the price was the price quoted. Excellent price. The movers were efficient pleasant no problems with them. They came early and delivered on time.

The guys (2) worked quickly and efficiently...willing to help out with anything. They were done before the 2 hour min., which we knew going in, would be the case. The guys wanted to fulfill their obligation, but we had nothing for them to do. We will use this company for our next move.

Two guys, Steve & Stephen, arrived on time. They moved quickly to disassemble furniture to move into the living room. Moving the shelving and other furniture quickly. The same happened when the next team came out to move the master bedroom back together. Thank you!

Setting up the appointment was easy and their schedule was flexible. They came on time to move the furniture and worked with us and our changing schedule for moving the furniture back into the house from the garage. So they actually moved us twice in about a week. They worked quickly knew what they were doing.

The move is very good. I have used them at least 3 times and they have also helped with my mother's move. They are very professional, communicative, very good customer service and even though they are on an hourly rate, they get the job done very quickly.

I'd called earlier in the week to book 2 movers and a 20-foot truck for a Sunday afternoon move. The company gave me a reminder call on Saturday (and confirmed my two-hour arrival window for the movers) then called me again on Sunday to give me an even more exact time to expect the movers to arrive. I really appreciated the extra customer service. I'd never hired movers before and didn't know what to expect, especially when they were paid by the hour (not the job). I was so impressed with the two movers from Midnight Hour Moving! They literally never stopped moving the entire time they were working with us. They broke down a bed, moved it, and re-assembled it, in addition to moving various other furniture and boxes. We weren't moving far, but still I was very impressed that they got everything done in exactly two hours. Whenever we move again, I will definitely be calling them again.

My husband and I tried to save money and move ourselves when we bought a new home a few miles away. When we were moving the fridge, however, I dropped the corner of the fridge, pinning my right hand between it and the wall. Nothing broken, but painful enough that I didn't want to be responsible for the remaining heavy lifting! Two of my husband's coworkers heard our sorry tale, and recommended Midnight Hour Moving. I sent an e-mail mid-Friday morning (Dec. 23) and had a response very quickly. We were expecting to have to wait until after the holiday to get everything moved, but they had an opening for Christmas Eve, at 8 a.m. I was impressed with their willingness to work with us on such short notice. I gave them a list of the items we would need moved (and of course forgot things), and was given an estimate of 2-3 hours, along with a price quote for a 2 man crew. The guys showed up a bit before 8, I showed them what we needed them to move, and they got started right away. A little less than an hour later, everything was packed up. Moving the stuff into the new house was more difficult, as most of the furniture needed to be moved to the second floor. The guys also moved a ton of furniture, that we had already brought into the house, from the first floor to the second. They took care to protect the walls and stair railing. I was particularly impressed that they were able to move our elliptical up the stairs - I can barely lift up one end enough adjust it. 2 1/2 hours total, and everything was moved! I was very happy. They worked very quickly and efficiently, and moved more than I had originally asked them too. I would be thrilled to hire them again.

When we called to book, Marcus was very friendly and professional as always. We changed our move date the day before we were scheduled to move, and they were able to accommodate our request. Their website helped answer all of the questions we had about the company's insurance. On the day of the move, he called us to let us know that they were running a few minutes late, which we greatly appreciated. The gentlemen who moved us were very nice and careful with our things. Our one issue was that the time estimated to move our belongings was greatly underestimated. We did have quite a bit of furniture, but the estimated time was 4 hours and the actual time was more like 9 hours. This happened because all of our things didn't fit into the truck on the first load, so they had to go back for the rest of our belongings in our apartment and storage unit in the middle of Dallas rush hour. All this being said, we would still use them in the future because we were overall extremely happy with the experience.

The 332.00 was for the move, which took about 4 hours. The day before, I had hired them to pack and that price was 167.00 for about 2 hours. The next week I used them to move a heavy dining room table, 8 chairs and 2 leaves from Keller to Euless for 126.23 - worth the price not to have to find people to move it, and to be able to stay out of the hideous construction and traffic on 1709.Steven and Jeremy moved me and also did the table moving; they were friendly, professional and efficient. They communicated and kept me informed about things as they went along; when they weren't sure of something, they asked. They were great and I would recommend the company and these two guys in particular to anyone. I regret that I don't recall the names of both packers; one was Tim and both were friendly and professional, like Steven and Jeremy. Communicative and efficient, they showed up on time (6 am!) and finished in just about 2 hours. They were excellent.My son and daughter-in-law were visiting when Steven and Jeremy moved the table and were really impressed as well. I can't say enough good. From Kika, the scheduler, to Marcus who coordinated things, to the guys who did the physical work. Fabulous!

Excellent from beginning to end. The movers arrived promptly at 6:00am as promised!

They made moving so much easier. We have used them in the past, and will continue to do so. I set up the reservation a couple of days before we were supposed to move. On the day of the move, they called to inform me that the job before ours was running behind and they would be a little late. They continued to call with updates until they arrived at our house. I thought that was very courteous. When Larry and his partner arrived, they got right to work. They loaded all of our furniture and boxes into their trailer and moved everything across town and then unloaded it all in the new house. Rather, than just drop everything in the first room and leave, they helped move everything to the correct places in the house so my wife and I wouldn't have to do it all by ourselves. Total time from when they showed up at the first house until they left the second house was about 4 1/2 hours. I am very thankful for all of the work they did and would certainly recommend them.

Background: - Moving from old house to new house on Friday 4/22 - I had to be out of the old house by midnight that night, with everything gone and the place completely clean. - I could not move into new house until 5pm, to allow seller to vacate and clean - Found MHM on Angies List with excellent reviews Initial Contact: - Pricing on website is well-defined and easy to understand - Very professional and helpful over the phone - Helped me decide what size trailer and crew would be appropriate - Scheduled to be at the old house with a 24' trailer and 3 man crew at 3:00pm Day of Move: - Called me at 1:00pm and said their crew finished previous job early, asked if we were ready to go. I said that we were, but that didn't make sense to start since we couldn't move in until 5:00. Over the phone, we decided plan was to wait until 2:00 to start. - Crew arrived about 1:45. I showed the crew leader the house and items to move and he recommended not starting until 2:30 (rather than 2:00 as I had agreed to on the phone), as he expected it to go quickly enough that we wouldn't need the extra time and didn't want to start the clock too early. I thought that was great, and likely unusual for most companies. - They actually had four guys there, one that was a trainee (no add'l charge to me) - Once started, they were incredibly fast, efficient, polite. Literally running back from the truck to the house to get a new load. - They were willing and able to help with disassembly, packing, etc, as necessary (we had just about everything ready to go, minus a couple big items for disassembly). - Finished the load in about 2 hours, and agreed to "punch out" for 30 minutes until 5:00, when we'd be allowed to actually move in. Again, likely unusual for most companies. - Unloaded at the new house in less than 1.5 hours (really, really fast). Very careful not to harm furniture or the walls. - After first load done, two guys went to pick up items from storage and two guys went back to old house to help load remaining, misc items that had not been packed up. - Finished up at 8:00pm, with w/d hooked up, bed assembled and everything from old house and storage moved into the new house to locations that I had specified. Overall: - Fee was $120/hour for 5 hours = $600, plus I tipped each guy $40 (they probably deserved more - I wasn't sure what was typical). - Very satisfied, I thought their service was exceptional and would recommend them to anyone needing help with a move.

The young men who completed the work were very punctual, careful and professional with nice manners and a good sense of humor. They worked consistently but were very cautious with the furniture and items. They unloaded boxes in the rooms noted and placed furniture where requested. They wasted no time and completed the move quickly.

They are very professional. They showed up on time. The owner came by and he controlled the whole process. The owner called me about twenty minutes after the crew left in order to make sure that everything was done satisfactorily, which impressed me more. I have referred them to couple of my friends. I would use their service in the future too.

The 2 movers (Larry & Chaz) were awesome and professional! They showed up and immediately introduced themselves and shook our hands. We asked what we should do to help and they said to please sit down on the couch and relax, that they would take care of everything. They loaded everything in less than a hour. Once we arrived at our destination, they had already started moving items to the freight elevator. They were very efficient, moving in the big items first to determine appropriate placement (and Larry was very helpful suggesting couch placement). They asked where items/boxes should be put in the loft. Once they were done they asked if we needed any assistance moving stuff around before they left. No items were damaged or missing. They were very efficient and friendly the entire time. About a hour after the movers left, we received a phone call from Marcus, the owner, and wanted to see how everything went and if we satisfied with the service. The entire move took approx. 3 hours and there were no hidden fees. I will definitely use this company again!

Extremely well. The three guys (Anthony, Antonio and Derek) were right on time, got right to work and didn't stop until the job was done. They really know how to make things fit into the truck to maximize space; I was worried the truck wasn't big enough, but they figured out the logistics and it worked out. They handled a very heavy desk without damaging it and were careful with my items, including my clothes. I was extremely impressed with how hard they worked and how nice they all were. I definitely recommend this crew if you use this company. Scheduling the appointment was also easy, and there always seems to be somebody to answer the phone in case something comes up (in this case it was a problem with the u-haul truck that I went to get that morning, and I called the Midnight Hour office to let them know I would be delayed with the truck). I found the company on Angie's List, which is why I hired them, and they didn't let me down.

They were able to do the move about an hour before our previously scheduled time. They were quiet and capable. Extra care was given to a lamp. Their work was good and they took care not to damage any of the goods or the walls. I would work with Midnight Hour Moving if ever I had the need.

It went well. They were on time. They worked very hard. If we were a little prepared, we could have saved a little more.

The moving crew arrived about 90 minutes late, but the office called me to let me know (that between traffic and underestimating the duration of the move scheduled before mine) they were running late. Once the guys got there, they went right to work. They took care with my fragile items and wrapped furniture items in blankets as necessary so that they would be safe during transport. They even brought some items, that were too large for me to carry, out to the dumpster. The drive to the storage facility probably took the longest, they only drove the truck at a speed of 30-35 miles per hour. I can't really complain about that though, they were driving my belongings, that just showed an additional level of cautiousness. Once we arrived at the storage facility the crew worked diligently to get everything off of the truck and nicely fitted in to the unit. All in all, it was an awesome experience and I will definitely use them again and recommend them highly. Additionally, they have discounts for teachers, firefighters, and police. I believe it's 10%, but I'm not sure. Be sure to ask when you call.

Everything went well, as scheduled, with no mishaps.

I found Midnight Hour Moving on Angie's List. We were moving at the end of June, so it was difficult to find a mover with an opening. They were able to schedule us for a noon move on a Sunday. I thought at first that we were going to have a bad experience because shortly after they scheduled us for this time slot, they called back and said they had an employee who was "still in the hospital," so they would need to reschedule us for 4pm that same Sunday. This wouldn't work for us, and they were unwilling to give us a discount for another day or time (which we requested since they had scheduled us for a time and then wanted to change it). I then started looking around for other movers, but in the meantime, Midnight Hour called back and said they had called in an extra helper and would be able to accommodate our original appointment. As for the move itself, the movers were able to come an hour earlier than scheduled--they called first, and we agreed to an earlier move. It was about 105 degrees that day, but the movers were efficient, polite, and good at their job. We had moved almost all of the boxes ourselves and had wrapped dressers and a buffet with plastic shrink wrap before they got there, so the move wasn't as difficult as some. But they moved all of our major furniture--beds, dressers, couch, chairs, buffet, office furniture, etc.--in good time. We were quite satisfied with the experience and would definitely use the company again.
