Arrived on time. Checked everything out and told me the cost of putting a gas line in our kitchen.

They repaired the flushing mechanism on the commode in the master bathroom and then attempted to locate the cleanout in order to do the hydrostatic test. Landscaping I had added made the cleanout at the front of the house difficult to access so Deaton suggested they put an extension on the cleanout to remedy that problem. In digging the hole to accomplish this, they encountered electrical wiring for my front yard light that was located too close to the cleanout. They had to cut and splice the wiring in order to put in the extension. The hydrostatic test was eventually performed and “did not hold.” As far as finding the leak, they stated that they did not have the equipment to locate leaks and recommended I call someone who specialized in that area. (If only they had told me that to begin with I wouldn't have wasted time and money with them! It is all in the way you ask the question!) They were, however, eager to repair any leaks located and asked me to call them with the report. Eventually two other companies,did hydrostatic tests and found that I did not have a leak. Company A who does only camera and hydrostatic testing - no repair work-- stated that the reason the hydrostatic test did not "hold" initially(when performed by Deaton) was because the cleanout extension put in by Deaton was improperly installed. I called yet another plumbing company and after they installed a double cleanout, Company A performed another hydrostatic test and no leak was detected. Company A also ran a camera thru the line and no leak was found.

He was punctual and cleaned up after himself. Whenever he had to go to the store to get some parts, he never wasted time and always came back very quickly. The overall experience was great.

They are great to work with. Whatever I want they will do within reason.

Both times, the crew was excellent. They are prompt, polite, and thorough; it is obvious that they know exactly what they are doing and do it very well. The office staff is polite and helpful. One nice thing is that they will call you when they are on the way, and you can meet them, if you are close enough. Our office is 5 minutes from the house. This is really very helpful because you do not have to cool your heels waiting for someone to show up. I will definitely call Deaton again for any plumbing work!

They came out to my rental property the same day I called. Did the testing, determined problem. They called me that day to ask if I wanted to keep the lines to the fireplaces. They asked me because it would have cost a lot more. I told them to forget the fireplaces and just fix the leaks, and they did. Work was finalized the next day, and permits with city and gas back on by 3rd day. I was very pleased with the customer service from the main office and the plumbers themselves.

I found it to be a little irritating that they charged me for the lunch break that they took when the work they did was not even that complicated. The workers were very nice and polite; however, they did work at a slow pace.

We were very pleased with them. We have used them for years and find them very pleasant. They do very good work and it is guaranteed as well in which we appreciate.

This company gave me a free estimate of $700 a few days earlier. The estimate included $250 for replacing any damaged ceramic tile, which would have to be done by a different contractor. I was very glad that they didn't mind that I had already bought the items they were installing. The plumber and his assistant were able to replace the shower valve without damaging ANY tile, but when they removed the old toilet, they discovered that the mounting flange was broken (obviously not their fault). Fortunately, they had one with them and replaced it--not a trivial thing: Oakum and melted lead. They were on time and finished in less than 2 1/2 hours. I gladly paid the $700 even though no tile work was needed, because they did unexpectedly have to replace the flange--and I didn't have to deal with having a tile person come out on another day, and try to match the existing tile. These guys are real pros. I would definitely use them again.

THE PLUMBER WAS ON TIME AND VERY COURTEOUS. I WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE THERE WAS 5 MINUTES WORTH OF WORK DONE. I WAS CHARGED FOR ONE HOUR.

THIS COMPANY WAS VERY EFFICIENT. THEY UNCLOGGED THE PIPE VERY QUICKLY AND WAS PROFFESIONAL. THEY POLITELY ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS AS WELL. I WOULD USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN.

THE DEATON PLUMBING COMPANY DELIVERED QUICK SERVICE. THEY CLEANED UP ANY MESS THAT THEY HAD MADE IN MY HOUSE. THE SERVICE MEN WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

PLUMBER ARRIVED ON TIME, QUICKLY REPAIRED BOTH TOILETS,AND COMPLETED THE NECESSARY PAPERWORK AND LEFT. THE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY EFFICIENT AND PROFESSIONAL AND LEFT THE WORK AREA CLEAN WITH NO FURTHER LEAKS.
