The work and finished product was excellent. All of the workmen were very good and were the kind of people you would want to come in to your home. Most all of the work was completed quickly The last few things took longer than they should have to complete. We had 3 bids on this job, two of the companies had complete bids with very similar prices and we could have used either company. We used Crossroads because we used them 4 years ago with the same excellent results.

First off i've never seen better professionalism then I did with this company and they remodeled my entire kitchen in a timely matter on time picked up after themselves never any trash that I have to pick upvery polite respectful gentlemen.my kitchen is the kitchen of my dreams and I will be using this company further on down the road with my bathrooms, thank you crossroad concepts.

This is the third large scale project we have contracted with Crossroads Concepts. The removal and replacement of all downstairs flooring and reconstruction of the laundry area was large in scope and the results were fantastic. Working with Terry and his crew is always a pleasure and they somehow made the demolition of much of the ground level of our home a relatively painless process. Once again, Crossroads was able to take my very rough sketches and ideas of the "ideal laundry/storage/craft area" and quickly develop a design complete with material selection choices and product placement options which fit the bill perfectly. They were able to easily switch gears and reimagine parts of the project when I came up with new ideas during the project. All members of their crew and subcontractors used were extremely professional, pleasant to work with and spoke English, which is a huge plus when it comes to successful communication. Attention to detail is one of Crossroads strong suits and they make it clear the job is not complete until we are completely satisfied with all aspects of the project. Crossroads pricing is fair and competitive. It was not the least expensive bid we received, however great service and quality have a price. The adage "You get what you pay for" is very relevant with remodeling. We have done extensive remodeling in the past on our 35 year old home and Crossroads has completely changed our perception of the remodeling process in a positive way. Cost increases, which were due to design changes midstream or unforeseen structural conditions ,were clearly spelled out and there were no surprises on the final invoice. We have worked with Crossroads Concepts extensively over the past 5 years and will continue to highly recommend this company for any remodeling needs both large and small.

I hired Crossroads after having no luck in finding a remodeling company that didn't want to perform "whole house surgery". My 1970's home in Woodhaven needed updating, not rebuilding the entire house from scratch. That said, I hired Crossroads to rebuild the kitchen, paint and carpet the entire house interior, and install new tile in the bathrooms and porches. I bought new kitchen appliances and they installed them. The things you want from a remodeler are: a) stay on schedule, b) stay on budget, and c) do quality work and stand behind it. Crossroads did it all for me, Keith Alexander was very easy to work with and understood what I was trying to accomplish. I didn't test their "high end" remodeling capabilities, but for my budget, they exceeded my expectations.

I was asked by this company to send pictures of the load bearing wall I want removed. I told the lady I talked to someone needed to come out and look in the attic because another contractor told me it was an unusual set up. She ignored me and asked me to send more pictures. A month later I got a call for more pictures. I told them again someone needs to come out. They finally sent someone out. He still didn't go in the attic and its been a month with no response. Our first communication was 6/8/15. It's now 8/6/15 and I still don't have a quote. Why on earth would I want to have someone do major work on my house that can't even respond with a quote or bother with a phone call?

Keith, Shelly and the team were a real pleasure to work with. They were very prompt in responding to our communications, courteous, professional and performed outstanding work. Their bid was not the lowest, but the overall experience was well worth the little bit extra. We are very happy with the detail of the craftsmanship. We will definitely give Crossroads first shot at future house projects. Highly Recommend.

, It went very good. It took about 4 weeks. They helped me move dishes, pots, pans, etc. Shelly; the interior decorator made excellent suggestions as to color and style. She was open to my ideas; and we were able to put everything together to create a beautiful kitchen! I even got them to put new carpet and a new window in during this 4 week period.

Never got back to us. It's been 10 days since they came out to give us a quote. There was no expectation that it would be two weeks before we would hear about the estimate.

Crossroads Concepts has performed work for us in the past several times. The job previous to the deck repair was the addition of a complete room on to our house. They did an excellent job. I knew they would based upon the quality of work performed on several occasions previous to that. The company is owned by Terry Doughty and he hires nothing but people who are truly professionals. They are in the remodeling business and this is not their first rodeo. Terry's people are friendly, easy to communicate with and work together like a well oiled machine. When the task is complete, the job site is cleaned and you can hardly tell a work crew has been there. Follow-up work (to fix something that was not done correctly in the first place) has never been required because it was done correctly the first time. The most recent job (repair of the deck) required the removal of a lot of the deck floor to actually have access to the problem, but that didn't matter. The two men working on this job, (Jeff and Gary) did not hesitate to do whatever was necessary to accomplish the work in a professional manner. The work was done in a methodical manner and when the task was complete, the deck looked like it did when it was new several years ago. As I said, this was not their first rodeo. Over the past 15 years or so, we have had Crossroads Concepts perform several different jobs on our house and we would consider no one else because we have the proof right in front of us of quality work at a fair price. Try them----you will be glad you did!!!!

Did a wonderful job !!!! Kitchen looked great !!!! Great price!!!! The crews were very professional and provided quality work . My wife & I will plan to hire Crossroads Concepts for our upcoming bathroom upgrades and wood flooring work. Great company & people to work with!

My experience with Crossroad's Concept was exceptional. When the initial contact was made he was here within 1 hour in order to make sure everything that needed to be done to protect my home due to the flooding from the water heater was performed. Once that was done he contacted the claim adjuster that had been assigned and set up a time to meet. This was important because of his experience with adjusters and he was representing me the homeowner to protect my interest. I might add this was all done within a 24 hour period and it took me out of the process completely, I did this with comfort knowing that any future changes were going to be handle. Once he started, he was prompt with arrivals as scheduled and that includes the workers and the subs being used. They were top notch. Crossroad's has an exceptional crew of men that courteous, understanding and their knowledge of the work was exceptional. GREAT personal skills. When you are flooded out and cannot use your kitchen and having to stay in an hotel room temporarily until they could get the ceiling replaced and kitchen functional this was highly important to us. They were exceptional!! Total time from start to finish was less then three weeks. When there is plumbers, electricians, cabinet, flooring,and mold control functions being controlled the wife and I was put to ease because the scope of work being done was a daily routine and the time from start to finish in our view was exceptional. I and the wife work away from home, me on the road to West Texas and hers being in downtown Dallas we left in comfort the safety and privacy was never an issue. We could not have been more pleased with the work and have not had any issues since with the work that was done. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE THAT WANTS A QUALITY JOB FOR A FAIR PRICE.

This is the 2nd time we've used Crossroads Concepts and they were just as professional as the first time. Always top-notch quality in custom work. Keith kept me informed of every step and the entire project was done in 2 days.

Excellent! The design process was fun, the owner accompanied me to several places to select the perfect products for the job. Mr. Doughty was very patient and flexible the several times I changed my mine on design details. The workers were on time, and left the areas as tidy as they could at the end of the day. The quality of the work was excellent and the end result far exceeded my expectations. I will not hesitate to use Crossroads Concepts again in the future, and would happily recommend them to my friends and family.

Crossroads Concepts was very friendly and accommodating. I needed the work done before Thanksgiving and Terry made sure that the work was done before my company arrived. Crossroads had some great suggestions for future updates for my home. I would definitely recommend Crossroads Concepts.

I previously wrote a very favorable Angie's List review of this company dated 12-10-12. All my ratings for this company at the time were an "A". My experience of the company's responsiveness and follow-up since that time has been poor. Part of the work Crossroads Concepts did was to tile the master shower. The indention in the shower wall for the soap tray has always been at too steep an angle, and the soap, or whatever else you put there falls off. We contactedTerry Doughty twice (once by e-mail, and then by telephone when he did not respond to the e-mail) about this repair. He never followed up or showed up. This was during the 1-year warranty period. Also, we have had 3 other problems with Crossroads' workmanship: (1) a new commode was improperly sealed at floor, resulting in a large stain on the ceiling in the bathroom below. This plumbing repair by another plumber cost $100.00. The entire ceiling of the bathroom below will have to be painted. (2) The electrical wall switch in an upstairs bathroom "buzzed" every time you turned it on. Lately the switch routinely turned off after you turned it on. Another electrician recently replaced this switch at a cost of $112; (3) the handles of the new sink fixtures in all 3 bathrooms (the handles are separate, not in a single handle/spout unit) all, after 9 to 18 months, moved to point to the wall when in the "off" position, rather than stop parallel to the wall when turned off. This repair by another plumber, on all 3 sinks, cost $100. Admittedly, these last 3 itemized repairs occurred after the 1-year warranty period, but it shows the sloppy quality of the subcontractors used by Crossroads. We did not call Crossroads on the last 3 itemized repairs because Crossroads never responded to our complaint regarding the shower soap dish. I would not use this company again nor recommend it.

Eric Doughty was the Project Manager of a complete master bathroom remodel we did. My home was built in 1970 and has lead paint throughout. At the beginning, when Eric and I met to discuss the project and negotiate the terms, I brought up that my home was older with lead paint. I asked how he would handle it and protect my family and expressed my concerns. He basically blew me off and said he has been remodeling older homes for years and never done anything differently and not to worry. He made me feel silly for asking the question and even told me not to go read about lead becuase it would just scare me! Well shame on me for not researching the dangers of remodeling with lead paint, especially since I had an infant and another young child in the house. The recent Angie's List magazine alerted me to the dangers of lead paint and remodeling and it is what spurred my post here. I was HORRIFIED to read about what should have been done to protect my young children from neurological damage and what didn't happen. Eric comes across as very trustworthy but I should not have trusted him and done my own research and questioned him more. He has no idea how to remodel and safely handle a home with lead. His workers were not protected themselves and they did nothing to try to protect my family from the dust and debris containing lead that was circulated throughout my home. He even made fun of me when I tried to put up some cheap plastic painter's drop sheets over some doorways. He said it wouldn't keep the dust out and he was right. The dust went everytwhere in the house. Now I am facting having my children's blood tested for lead level and assessing any problems. If you have an older home please read about how a remodel should be handled by professionals and hire someone who is lead certified. Eric is certainly not and should not be remodeling older homes until he and his workers are. As a follow up, we replaced our HVAC system and all the duct work to ensure all the lead dust was out of our home ($12,000 in total).

We found several highly recommended names of remodelers from Angie's list. We interviewed and got estimates from 3. All 3 were very close in price. We chose Crossroads Concept because Eric was very personable, professional, and a Christian. Throughout the process that began on February 1st, 2014, Eric had many great ideas about our extensive project. In fact, we soon found that we trusted his professional advice for construction as well as his decorating ideas. He sent us to many top of the line suppliers such as for fixtures, rock, tile, hardwood, hardware, doors, etc. All were very helpful. We would narrow the choices down, and then go to Eric for his advice. We took his advice every time. By July when we made our final payment, our house far exceeded our expectations. We contemplated buying a new home but decided we still loved our 20 year old home and beautiful treed lot. We just wanted to change some things and update it. We also didn't want to triple our current mortgage buy buying new. When this remodel was finished, we KNEW we made the right decision. We had done a small remodel 12 years ago and had several disagreements with the contractor. With Eric, there was not one disagreement. When we saw something wrong or that wasn't what we wanted, Eric changed or fixed it. He continually said, "I want this to be exactly what you want. We'll keep working on it until that happens." This remodel went from Feb to July. There may have been 5 days in all those months that the house wasn't being worked on. It was usually because of weather issues. The reason it took so long is we kept adding more things that we wanted, and Eric wanted everything to be perfect. We wanted our house to look new, and it does inside and out, and it cost us 1/3 of what a new house would have cost. We HIGHLY recommend Eric and Crossroads Concept.

Keith was our point of contact and he was EXTREMELY attentive the entire time. He initially came to our house to walk through what we wanted done (we wanted more than we actually ended up doing) and priced everything out. Because of the amount of things we wanted done it initially came in over our budget. Keith came back a second time to offer both ways to cut back a bit as well as alter some things in order to accomplish our goals. Fantastic experience. Once we settled on what we wanted done and signed the contract we met up with Shelly who helped us pick out our flooring so it would all tie together. Once the workers started it was amazing at how quickly they finished all on time. I would not only use them again but I would recommend them to friends and family.

After I had written my first review of the company not being responsive, I received a call from Keith apologizing and assured me they would take care of my needs. They came out and completed the job in a day and a half total. They even came back to check on the work done and made sure I was completely satisfied. I would definitely use them again. Keith, Jeff and Mike were completely professional and very easy to work with as well as concerned that my needs were met and that I was satisfied with their work.

The workmanship is incredible! I followed a review by a homeowner on Angie's List and am so glad. The men are punctual, professional, polite, and knowledgeable. Our home is a Tudor style built in 1928. We did not want any modifications to the style and age noticeable. Crossroads Concepts immediately figured out how to achieve this. They actually designed two "dummy" glass doorknobs that exactly match the original one on the door to the room. Preparation and cleanup were exceptional. They completely covered everything in the computer room where the closet is located with plastic wrap. We had no dust as a result. My husband and I cannot recommend this company more highly. Contacted company to get estimates for various remodeling projects on my house. Keith came out and made notes on the various projects and took measurements. While here he was very professional and listened to our needs and made a few suggestions. He stated he would get back with us in approximately two weeks with his proposals. We have heard nothing from him and messages have gone unanswered.

Crossroads was terrific. Within a few days of calling, Terry (the owner) came out and took pictures and talked to me about what I wanted to remodel. Initially I thought I needed new cabinets, but he suggested a way to save a bit was to refinish what a I had since it was structurally sound. I appreciated his honesty on that. When I got the actual bid, it was a bit higher than I expected, and higher than what another contractor had estimated. However, the other estimate wasn't written and was very vague; Terry gave me a four page printout of everything that would be done, from covering floors to final cleanup, and included allocated amounts for every sink, faucet, light, fan, and appliance. I was more confident in his detailed budget and in his personal approach, so I went with the slightly higher bid, and am glad I did. Shelly (office manager and jack of all trades) arranged visits to pick out granite, tile, and appliances and walked me through the process, helping me make selections that kept us within budget. EVERY person who came to the house--cabinet refinishing, painting, wall texturing, carpentry, tile work--was super professional and friendly. If a problem came up (and small ones always do in large projects) it was taken care of quickly and with a positive attitude. For example, after new sink installation a few of the sinks had some weeping at a connection; I mentioned it and it was taken care of well and quickly. Change orders were executed accurately and quickly; the only overages were small items I asked to be added in after the contract was signed, and these were done at a really fair price, in my opinion. I'm really happy with the overall outcome, and when I finish remodeling the master bath in a year or so, I won't call anyone BUT Crossroads for that project. Everyone at Crossroads was friendly, communicated in a timely manner, and conducted themselves very professionally. Great company.
