Description of Work: Gary replaced some badly corroded pipe and replaced the existing drum trap with a p-trap. I was very pleased with the whole experience. His work all looked very clean and professional; he is quite obviously a skilled tradesman who takes pride in his work. He also charged me exactly what he said he would in the estimate. I have no complaints and nothing but good things to say.

Description of Work: Estimate. When my husband question what he was telling us he started talking in circles. His attitude was very cold and snobbish. Really bad vibe. Would never call on them again. The company we went with had an estimate of 1000.00 less for the same work. Family own business. Great attitudes and very personable we used them.

We have tried several times to contact you in regards to your experience with Wedgeworth Plumbing. We have gotten no reply at all. We came out and did a FREE estimate for you that day. You did not express any concern about the price at all. You happily signed the bid and even scheduled our guy to come back and perform the job. You suddenly cancelled and then left this review. This review has the wrong amount listed on it. The amount is off by about half. We are not sure if you are thinking about a different bid you received, but this number is not from our invoice at all. Our technician was honest and upfront with you about all charges and spent over 2 hours there giving the estimate. We have seen another review you left for another provider from Angies List. It was negative as well. Before leaving bad reviews, it is a good idea to call the company and talk to them. Sometimes concerns can be resolved just by communicating. We always put our customers first and we certainly value their opinions. We know that we are constantly improving and always do our best to make a wonderful experience for our customers.

We have attempted to contact you, however have not received a response. At Wedgeworth, we strive to be the best. We offer FREE estimates and give awesome discounts to Angie’s List members. We use the same quality products that we use in our own homes, which are American made whenever possible. Our customer service is Out of this World and we stand behind all our work. We understand that when people have plumbing issues in their homes, it can be very upsetting and inconvenient. Often, as a consumer, one is ready to just go with the lowest price. But that can often be costly in the long run. At your home, our licensed plumber completed a pipe repair in the yard. He gave a very generous 20% discount as well, making the total price $419. We are very proud of the work we do and of the quality we offer. Our plumbers are polite, clean, knowledgeable and above all…very professional. Please read our reviews and notice that we are honest and we truly care about our customers.

Description of Work: I got estimates from two plumbing companies to change my kitchen sink plumbing from a double sink to the new single sink I was installing, and install the new disposal. To do exactly the same job, Wedgeworth Plumbling's estimate was over $800, twice the price that A+ Castle Plumbing gave us.

Wedgeworth Plumbing provides estimates FREE of charge to all Angie's List customers. We will spend time with the customer, listening to all concerns, investigating the plumbing issue and then giving a proper estimate. When getting quotes for pricing on remodeling, it is very important to get more than one estimate, in fact, the best thing is to get three estimates, so you can truthfully get a good comparison. Prices differ when there is a difference in quality. Be careful of companies that charge too little for their services. In choosing their bid, you may not be getting quality products, services and warranties. This may be a costly decision in the end. The plumbers we send into people's homes are all licensed, they each have 10 + years experience in their field. Description of Work: I wanted to have my water heater flushed. Wedgeworth arrived and said flushing my water heater would be futile, it could damage it...becasuse of the age of the appliance. They gave me a good bid on replacing it. They said they would not charge me anything because they didn't do anything. They were very nice and I intend to use them in the future. Please credit my account the $69. Thanks.

Description of Work: The work I'm reviewing is installation of a new kitchen faucet, garbage disposer, and completely replumbing underneath the sink. It was performed in early January and I am happy to report that after almost two months I'm still 100% satisfied with the excellent service, quality and price that this family-owned company provided. The owner, Sean, performed the work, and he not only provided recommendations about what kind of faucet to get, he even researched the faucet model, called the plumbing supply to make sure it was in stock, and went down to pick it up. I will be using this company in the future, and I would endorse them to anyone.

Description of Work: I would truly recommend Wedgeworth Plumbing to all my clients as a Realtor. They did a super job in my home. They had to remove a 75 gallon water heater from the 3rd floor attic and replace, as well. They were neat, clean, and even wore pink booties for breast cancer, since it is October. They even noticed that my vent jack was loose and another problem, not related to plumbing. Professional and reliable. Brandon and Gary at #1 in my book. Don't hesitate to use them.
