Description of Work: They didn't show up for an appointment to service our hot water heater. I called the next day and they didn't return my call. I'm not sure what happened, but this is hardly professional behavior. So, I called Abacus.

Description of Work: They were responsive to my call, came out when promised to provide me with a quote and were very professional in every way. I really "wanted" to use them. Unfortunately, their quote was $200 more than my quote from another highly rated (Angie's List) plumber for the identical service. I would not hesitate to contact them again and use them if they were competitive.

Description of Work: Noticed a spot in our kitchen ceiling and when poked made a hole. The toilet upstairs had apparently been running for a while. Got Wedgewood to come out to see what the issue was. Told me could be a leaky pipe or an issue with the way the toilet is seated and so could just unseat it and take look or cut a hole in the ceiling to check for leak. It turned out that it was not a leaky pipe and toilet was not seated properly. When the toilet was removed, he found that there was too much gap between the tiled floor and bottom of where the toilet would sit. As such probably since we've had the house, we've had a bit of water leaking down. The only way to fix it would be to get some special part to make the toilet sit a bit higher. This was Monday and they would have to come out once the part was got. They came back Friday and got it sorted. | |Each time something changed, the plumber told me exactly what was going on and what the cost would be. I wasn't charged for multiple things and he had a price book for everything - so it wasn't just some random set of charges. So I'd definitely use again if needed and recommend.

Description of Work: I would highly recommend Wedgeworth Plumbing. They go the extra mile in service. Our plumber found our problem and advised us of the action we needed to do the correct the leaking tub drain. We were very happy with the service and price.

Description of Work: The plumber was able to come earlier than scheduled. Very courteous and neat --he wore booties on my new hardwoods. He inspected gas water heater for leaks, found the leaky valve and repaired it. Checked all other valves and found none of them had tape or sealant for the threads, and they were not tightened. He and fixed them all. |I will use again

Description of Work: Drained and flushed 2 water heaters. Removed circulating pump. Cleaned inside the fittings for any debris and reinstalled. Everything went very well. After I showed the plumber what I wanted done, he gave me a written cost up front. No surprises and I appreciated that. I am one of those people who follows behind the service techs. He had no problems with that and was happy to answer my questions and concerns. He wore booties over his shoes and left no debris behind. He rolled up his garden hose and made sure that the hose did not drip water on the floors. (The one thing I always do is to have a folded bath towel nearby to put under the attic stairs to protect the wood floors. I never expect that everyone will bring in a drop cloth.) I was pleased with the job he did and would use this company again.

Description of Work: They arrived on time (actually, eralier). I explained what I needed, they gave me an estimate. I agreed. The job was completed in a few hours, to my satisfaction. It is possible that problems may show up later, of course, but the technicians were competent and efficient. Since I did not seek alternative estimates, it is possible that the may not have been the cheapest provider. However, I am satisfied.

Description of Work: I was way overdue for a new hot water heater. They recommended a Branford White model which is the one I had for over 20 years so I purchased one from them. They sent 2 plumbers and they were at the house for about 2 and half hours. They were very professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely use them for other plumbing jobs in the future.

Description of Work: We were quoted $750 for 2 sets of sink faucets! I told them to only do one as he had already started. That took almost 3 hrs to install. So had to shell out another $150 to complete the job... I did the other one myself in 1 1/2 hrs (never done one before) including fixing the one that was done by the plumber, who left a 1/8th inch hole at the back of the spout by not centering it properly. I will never use Angie's List coupons again all they are a blank checks, very disappointed.

Description of Work: Initially they were to add a gas line to dryer, and a water line to the frig. During the gas pressure check, they found a gas leak between the meter and the house. They replaced the gas line. When they had the trench dug for the gas line we discovered that the adjacent sewage line (original to the fifty year old house) was weeping. I had them replace the sewer lines. | |The work they performed was excellent, and done with great care and attention to detail. I would definitely hire Sean's team again, in fact I have contracted with them again for my master bath remodel!
