They were very professional and helpful. They cleaned out our clogged 2nd-floor sink due to algae growth from AC water condensation. They suggested we treat the pipes maybe once a year with enzyme cleaner to avoid future growth and blockage. They answered all our questions and gave some good advice for other service we need but suggested ways to save money like doing simple things like replacing a toilet flapper. Also suggested we might need to replace the water heater which is original to the house (19 yrs old). They were really good and would definitely call them for future service.

Refused to give price over the phone. So they came and quoted $300 for one hour labor to replace a garbage disposal. I thought that was ridiculous so I declined. I then called Sam the Plumber. They quoted $165 over the phone. Needless to say, I'm using Sam and not Wedgeworth. By refusing to even discuss a possible range of prices on the phone, they not only wasted my time but their own, and the repairs were delayed by several days due to the need to schedule another plumber. So I recommend not taking the risk if a company like Wedgeworth refuses to even give a rough idea of prices on the phone. There are many other plumbers who are happy to do that, save your time, and potentially save money (as I did).

He was very prompt because I could only be home during 9-12 he came in and found a small sliver in the disposal and was able to get it out and fix the disposal promptly. I am very happy with his service.

Went great - my mom was at home to meet them and she was impressed by their professionalism and getting to work quickly and honoring the deal. We will use them again! Thanks Wedgeworth - its good to know you can call someone, they're responsive and get the job done without a lot of hassle and upselling. Trustworthy and we appreciate that.

The plumber came out to check for a leak but after he checked, he indicated that I needed caulking in the upstairs bathroom in order to prevent the leaking from the upstairs down to the kitchen ceiling. I feel he was honest and straightforward. I did call a repair person who fixed the caulking. He probably saved me a lot of money.

Rental house, they were having a problem with brown water so I had a whole house filter installed and they did a great job.

It went well but the provider didn't turn on the cold water to the kitchen faucet. Fortunately my husband was able to easily do it but it was an oversight.

We loved the absolute professionalism the representative showed. He was on time, extremely competent and very personable. He gave us feedback on the issues this caused, and how to try to prevent in the future. I am getting ready to call them a second time for something else. They we a pleasure to work with.

He completed both jobs efficiently and well. Indoors he used the shoe booties and out of doors he swept up the shavings from some sawing. Very tidy. Then we talked about other plumbing products ( tankless water heaters) and he gave me the scoop on those items- the pros and cons that are specific to Houston.

He fixed a new toilet leak on one toilet, he said he could fix the other for $300, I declined. He also unclogged a drain that was a slow drain in the bathtub. I ended up fixing the other toilet my self. I had to pay an addtional $200+ on top of the deal. The lady that answers the phone is super nice! The work that was done was great!

When he came, he was trying to sell me a whole new water heater. He said my water heater was old and if we tried to flush it, it would probably clog up again. He quoted me about $1500 for a new water heater. I told him never mind on the flush. I would just request a refund.

Gary arrived on time and was very professional. He identified the problem and, after going to get a part, fixed it perfectly. I will use this company's services again.

He was quick, very professional and loaded with ideas and made them work! 4 months later and no leaks and it looks great. When we redo the kitchen he will be our plumber hands down.

Showed up promptly and performed the service. They included a warranty if the drain plugs up again! Will surely use again.

I thought will save some money buying the coupon of $200 for $127 ....and expected the max will be around $250. My Garbage disposal was installed only a year back and was sure, something was stuck in it and did not need to be replaced. First the service indicated they generally do the job within a few days ...however it took 5-6 days to set an appoinment which was a week later. He did arrive at the said time ..no greeting, smile, small talk ...just serious, as if he was doing me a huge favor. Anyway my bathroom faucet came off the threads ...he right away fixed it which took less than 5 mins. When he gave me the quote to replace garbage disposal for $450 and Kitchen Faucet for $299 and then he quoted $279 to replace a simple Flap valve in the commode(which I did not agree)...did not believe it......Since I paid $200 for coupon and did not want to be bothered with it...I gave the go ahead ....Now I regret it. Incidentally a few weeks back I stopped by at a construction site on my street and asked the plumber to give a quote on the job...he said $200 which I thought was more at that time. I never leave bad reviews...but this was not right...

Sean was very knowledgeable and professional. His work was top notch. When he left the faucets, which had been improperly installed by an unqualified "plumber" more than one year ago, worked perfectly.$

When they tried to unplug the line, they discovered the pluggage may be city's responsibility. Thus, they called the city to come to unplug the line. They did not even charge me for unplugging the line and only charged me the service fee of $49. They are really honest, more than fair, and professional people, and I really appreciate. Before their service, someone else tried to unplug the line and could not locate the clean out drain and asked me to locate it. They were going to charge me additional if I asked them to locate. After about 10 minutes try, they did not unplug the line and said my line is broken. They wanted me to fix the line for enormous amount. I told them no, and they left but want to charge me $225 for coming, and I refused. This is an example of night and day difference. I will refer and reuse Wedgeworth plumbing company.

The service was good. He was very helpful and my husband was very pleased.

The plumber arrived timely however, due to the age of the water heater they refused to service as requested.

This bathroom sink drain is also the primary condensate drain line from the A/C system and this causes significant algae buildup during the summer months when the A/C runs a lot. We called the plumber because the drain had become so blocked it was unusable. The plumber cleared the line by running down a sewer cable (auger) and then flushing it out with water. Plumber also recommended that the homeowner periodically treat the A/C condensate lines to slow build-up of algae in the future.

Fast response and quick service

When he arrived we went over the list of items to be done. He gave me prices for each and we discussed parts needed. He cleared the clogged drain and tightened the loose fixtures and installed the lavatory stoppers (last 2 items were at no cost since they did not take long and I paid for other work). He could not complete the other tasks at that time because parts were needed. I did not spend my entire $200 credit (had purchased a deal) on this visit, so he said he would hold credit for the next visit. I was able to get some of the parts directly from Delta for free under warranty and 1 part he found locally and would take care of that on his next trip, after I received the parts from Delta. I called to schedule the next trip after I received the parts, and all went well. I would use this company again.

The plumber was on time, and let us know in advance his approximate arrival time. He first diagnosed a leak from the second floor bathroom, which turned out to be a problem with cracks in the tile. He explained how to fix it ourselves by regrouting. He then took out a kitchen faucet which was rusted into the sink. and then installed our new faucet which we had bought ourselves. He recommended a new disposal, as ours was "almost to the end of its life". Since it was nearly 20 years old, we were sure he was right. He replaced it with a new one, also having to rework the connections. He also replaced a crumbling P trap under the sink. We were very pleased with everything. He was quick, on time and very professional. We did have a little sticker shock, but getting this done would have been expensive no matter who did the work. I don't think they were out of line with current competitive pricing in the area. I would call them again!
