He was very professional throughout the entire experience. Even though he had to take the tv into his shop, he kept me aware of the progress being made and the approximate price that the repairs would cost. I would definitely use him again.

Tom arranged an appointment within a week of me contacting him. He was flexible when I needed him to push the appointment back about 1 hour. He used my existing HDMI cables and an additional optical cable to move signal from the home theater receiver to the TV and then to the home theater receiver. This solved the problem I was having regarding sound through the tv. He also set up the remote so that most actions could be accomplished with a single remote. Overall, I felt it should not have been a two hour job and should have been closer to the minimum, but then again, I couldn't figure it out myself and you need someone with expertise.

It was a big problem to me and he made it pretty simple and I am very pleased. It was beyond my expectations.

Tom arrived on time and was very professional and helpful.

He was good. He helped me over the phone; it was all internet based. He was able to access my computer remotely and fix it. He really cared about the end result and was responsive and stuck with it until he got it fixed. It was a good value. He knew his business. It was quick, low cost and efficient.

They were okay. I spoke to them and they couldn't help me. They were just fine. They were nice but they just couldn't help me.

My sound on the TV and Receiver would periodically go off and on. Also when I turned on the treadmill the sound would go off. I have had numerous TV Repairmen and Electricians look at the problem to no avail. This man is a genius. He immediately diagnosed the problem fixed in an hour. We have been trying to get fixed for the last 5 years. It turned out the company that set up my system had cross connected everything, causing a overload at times. If I ever have any other electronic work done I will only call Tom Miller.

I have used Tom Miller Service Company twice now so this is actually a review for two experiences. We had been looking for quite a while to find someone to fix two sets of studio monitors (recording studio quality speakers). We were referred to Tom and both experiences were exceptional. Tom is very professional but more importantly he keeps in contact with you. He would follow up with us consistently to make sure we were aware of what the issue was, the cost to fix it, and the amount of time it would take. Both times Tom was very quick to order the parts we needed and get the monitors back to us. He also is VERY reasonably priced. I would recommend Tom to anyone needing assistance with professional audio or video equipment. We have additional equipment needing repair and we will be back to Tom Miller Service Company!

Tom's a gem. He battled thru a very confusing setup with a TV that was overly complicated and was able to get me exactly the setup I wanted. One remote operates everything, cable box and receiver in closed cabinet and remotes still work, etc. He was a pleasure to work with and I recommend him without reservation. You won't be sorry if you ask Tom to help you out. . . he knows his stuff.

He was very rude, he snapped at my husband when my husband asked a clarifying question. I thought it was very unprofessional. He took over two hours to set up two brand new Tv's, right where the other ones were. I had one in the kitchen to move, he set it right on top of a granite countertop. It was the lighter one, but he kept informing me that he couldn't lift the TV's because of his back. He should have brought help, and his attitude wasn't good. I love Angie's List but this service provider was not good. He really banged up my very nice cabinet and now I'm going to have to have it fixed.

The service was excellent. He arrived on time and gave us his assessment of the repair. He made the repair in record time and returned the TV. He was very knowledgeable and I will definitely use him again for all of my TV repairs. It was a real pleasure to deal with this company.

When we bought our house, it had a home theater with a ceiling-mounted projector that was nearing the end of its life. We strung together a makeshift audio system and did fine for a year -- but we wanted to upgrade the projector, bury the wires, and make it all simpler. Tom took a look at what we had, made sure he understood what we wanted, and advised me how to proceed. Even though he's not big on projectors for home theaters, once he understood that's what we wanted, he committed 100% to making it work. I needed to order a few parts, and once they came in, Tom and his assistant Charlie came and installed everything in a couple of hours. It was tricky work because the old projector ceiling mount and the new one did not interface well, so Tom had to do some quick thinking. But he got it done, and by the time he was finished, we were up and running.

Mr. Miller diagnosed the problem quickly. Since it would take time for me to go buy a new receiver and have him come back to install it, he tried very hard to rewire the television to get sound from the tv speakers since I couldn't use the surround sound. Unfortunately we found out the tv did not have speakers. I really appreciated that he put so much effort into trying to leave us with a television we could use in the meantime. I must state that a Loewe television weighs around 350 lbs. It was quite an effort since it sits in a built in cabinet. Kudos to him! I bought the receiver and he came back to install it very promptly. He cleaned up old wiring and since I am not knowledgeable about electronics gave me some very useful advice. I feel he was more than fair in his charges and was really happy with his work. I am glad I used Angie's list to find him. I would like to make some changes in the future to install a new flat screen television in a different location and will absolutely call him to do the work!

Overall, my experience with Tom Miller Service Co. was outstanding. He is the first service provider that I have reviewed since joining Angie's List. I look forward to finding other service providers who are as courteous, honest, and helpful as he has been.

I like that they did a really good job.

It went perfectly smooth and he showed up on time as scheduled. Everything worked just as it should. He had a good knowledge of the brand of receiver we purchased. He also set it up in a way that was easy to use and understand. Knowing he has worked on larger sound systems, repaired TVs and installed many home entertainment systems set me at ease. I plan on calling him back to repair my other LCD TV and a Sony TV too. I'm looking at having him install and setup my patio speakers as well.
