Sammy Peralta has an incredible company! Remodel was beautiful and done on ahead of schedule. They did a great job protecting/covering current furniture and floors and cleaning up after.

Things went well overall. Sammy, the company's owner, was very professional during the start of the project. He went over my needs and expectations and we agreed I would choose most of the fixtures, tub, toilet and vanity. This was important because it allowed me to control some of the cost. The down side of the experience was the supervision of his employees during the job. Many of his employees did not speak English very well and seemed unsure as to what my expectations were even though these things were made clear to Sammy. His tile man was there for 5 full days and they only stopped by once during that time to check on him or the job. I feel they could have saved at least a day by helping and guiding his employees. Sammy's a good guy but he seems a little overwhelmed and possibly shorthanded with supervision. The finished product is about 3.5 out of 5 stars but could be better. The job took 10.5 days but could have been completed 2 days earlier if managed better. I spoke to Sammy about my concerns and he assured me he is addressing these very issues. The deal on Angie's list was for a specific amount and Sammy reimbursed me $118. when the job was complete. I thought this was fair, which is somewhat rare these days. I would definitely use these guys again. Members should be aware that I did purchase the vanity and light fixture on my own and had Peraltas install them.

Better than expected. Took about 20 business days, which was longer than quoted, BUT we were not aware that the bathroom had to be built up essentially from the beams. Craftsmen worked 8+ hours every day. Site was kept neat and total cleanup at end.

Did not show up for our meeting. I called him and got the excuse that he forgot to put our appointment in his planner. Really? I gave him a second chance. He came, saw the job and said he would send me a quote by email in no more than two days. Never received a quote. Not even the courtesy of a phone call.

Start date was April 3 and all the work was done by April 26. I must also state our house is 46 years old. We have not worked with such a wonderful group of people at our house and consider ourselves very lucky. Our floors were protected prior to the start of the project. We have a rather small house and storage of the equipment, supplies, and materials got really creative at times. The owner is Samuel Peralta and he was very hands on initially and came periodically to check on the progress, but let his employees do their work and handle each phase of the project (which was done in such an organized fashion and showed their experience and skills in what and how each task was done.) Sammy had wonderful suggestions on the project. He listened on all the things we wanted done which is so important. Sammy's employees were respectful, considerate, professional, and meticulous in everything they did. Everyone was always on time and let us know if they needed to stay late or come on a Saturday. Frank was our primary person to do most of the demolition, electric, plumbing, framework, sheetrock, and painting. With the volume of work he was responsible for on this project he was always in a good mood and worked hard. On one of our trips to select materials Frank offered his suggestions on color, coordinating items, and additional ideas to complete each project. He came across many additional projects we needed to look into (which we will in the future). Manuel did the tilework on the shower and kitchen backsplash; both came out beautiful. The type of tile we selected for the shower did not have finishing tiles for the edging and he had to manually do the beveling on all the edge tiles. This was not only time consuming, but tedious. He was always in a good mood and we enjoyed working with him. All in all we think the upgrades and repair work were done on time and for a reasonable cost. we will be calling Peraltas Remodeling and Services for any other jobs in the future.

The remodel turned out even better than I expected. Peraltas did great quality work and totally transformed my bathroom. Would suggest them for any remodel! They did a great job on my tiling and making suggestions.

The job went well. It was especially helpful to have Sammy help me pick out and purchase the tile needed for the job. He also provided great communication throughout the job.

The overall process went very well. The quality of the end result is very good and I'm very pleased with their service. Sammy did a good job of communicating any problems or needs and scheduling of the remodel. He was able to incorporate several changes I wished to make throughout the process. The mechanical work and tile work was done by Manuel and he did a fantastic job. He didn't cut any corners and went out of his way to make sure the job was done right. The sheetrock and paint was done by another crew. It took several tries to get the quality result I wanted from the paint but the end result was very good. The price was very fair and I would gladly recommend The Peraltas to anyone looking for any type of home remodel. I plan on using them again for future projects.

The Peraltas did a great job for us. The custom exterior and interior trim work they did was outstanding. They took their time building the trim needed and it matches perfectly. The priming and painting was done very well as well - thorough coats with sharp lines. We had one issue come up with the French door installation after the fact, but it was fixed to our satisfaction with one call to the owner. We enjoyed working we The Peraltas and found the company to be very responsive and professional. Even when the owner wasn't on-site, we felt the workers who were, were capable and professional too.

Sammy is a great person, but he is very busy. I waited for 1 week to get an appointment with him and been waiting for 4 days now to receive an estimate. If you are in a rush, he probably is not your best person to go with.

After talking with a few firms I chose The Peraltas Remodeling & Services. We had good discussions about possibilities and cost effective solutions, such as rebuilding my pantry and routing exhaust ducts. The $ were reasonable. Also, Sammy came over multiple times to discuss details before starting, and he came over to check on things multiple times during the work. During the project the crew managed through issues typical of older homes such as mine. The result was a very nice transformation & upgrade of my old kitchen, dining room area, and washer / dryer room including new counters and backsplash and improving the wall and ceiling finishes Sammy and his crew were responsive to my many questions. They were friendly, considerate & polite and achieved fine quality They used plastic sheeting to reduce dust impacts, they cleaned up at the end of each day, and they hauled away the construction debris including old built-in appliances It took some time to get the ball rolling, but that was due to them being busy. I would definitely use The Peraltas again. Carpentry; painting; mechanical; electrical; granite counters; tile backsplash; etc

Fantastic! I moved into my parent's townhome which needed quite a bit of work. I was not knowledgeable about remodeling but had an idea about what I wanted and Samuel Peralta and his team made it happen. Not only are they excellent craftsmen but they are extremely professional, conscientious, dependable, patient and kind. They even helped me keep my cat from freaking out! You can set your watch by the time they will arrive at your home each morning. I was always notified and consulted about any issues that arose, which based on my sister's experience with her contractor in Austin Is not always the case. I truly cannot say enough nice things about this company, and highly recommend them. They transformed my home into a place of beauty where I know I will spend many happy years.

This was my first experience with remodeling, and Mr. Peralta was very helpful with all of the planning, design, and purchases that go along with a construction project. The finished product is beautiful! The guys who did the work were all as nice and professional as you could hope for. I would definitely hire them again for future remodel projects.

Sammy came right out and provided me with some great ideas and a price quote. However, we decided against doing the project because the new tenant requested the current layout.

A short delay in start date but: Went shopping with Sammy Peralta and picked out most of the materials. Workmen came on time and knew what they were doing. Project took a couple of days longer than estimated but it was a total remodel and I loved the finished product. Everything was done. Even things I forgot (like new baseboards),

Very well...Sammy and his team are courteous, show up on time, clean up after themselves. If any special additional features need to be added to job, Sammy + team will work with customer to accommodate their needs. I compared 3 contractors, Peraltas Remodeling was straight-forward, and the reasonable priced. Contractor also assisted with picking up supplies if necessary to complete work. I would hire Peraltas Remodeling again.

Work on the remodeling began in February of 2016 and proceeded until early late April 2016. Sammy's crew were polite, knowledgeable and professional in their duties. The work was staged while we were still living in the home so there were always building supplies throughout the home during the extent of the process. This, of course, led to some difficulties of adjusting to the 'mess' of re-modeling but the end effect was that the home looked better than ever when completed. The list of repairs included: a) re-tiling the kitchen, breakfast nook, common hallway and laundry room; b) re-tiling the master bathroom; c) replacing the counter-tops in the kitchen and butler pantry area with granite; d) re-tiling the back-splash of the kitchen and butler pantry area; e) changing out three ceiling fans in the master bedroom, family room and upstairs game-room; f) changing out three chandeliers in the breakfast nook, entry hallway and dining room; g) changing out two pendant lights above the kitchen stove island counter-top area; h) changing out flush-mount lights in each of four closets; i) changing out flush-mount lighting in the laundry room and master bathroom; j) changing out wall-mount lighting fixtures in three bathrooms; k) changing out sink faucet fixtures in four bathrooms (total of six faucets); l) changing out shower fixtures in four bathrooms; m) changing out bathtub fixtures with drains in three bathrooms; n) re-painting two upstairs bedrooms, upstairs game-room, upstairs hallway, two upstairs bathrooms, master bedroom and master bathroom; o) changing out all towel hanging and toilet paper fixtures throughout the four bathrooms; p) changing out all doorknob fixtures throughout interior (bedrooms, bathrooms, closets, pantry and laundry); q) changing out all exterior doorknob/lock fixtures (laundry room, master bedroom, kitchen, garage and entry); r) re-carpet all rooms that were not tiled (~350 sq yd); s) replace door-frame trim and floor molding where damaged; t) clean and re-paint all door-frame trim, floor molding and window sills; u) touch-up paint throughout interior where re-painting was not u) replace exterior rotten wood; v) replace gutter and downspouts throughout exterior; w) paint exterior of home and garage; x) replace garage-door opener; y) replace two front entry external wall lanterns and one kitchen external wall lantern; z) replace dishwasher, wall oven and refrigerator/freezer; and aa) sand, stain and refinish the two front wood doors. The Contractor's cost was 25,000 USD. Additionally, the separate material expenses were 18,000 USD.

Work began in April and was completed by late June. The work was exceptional. We had minor problems with initial electrical issues but were resolved quickly. Additionally, I incorrectly ordered the wrong-hand opening for the garage access door but they were able to work around this with some minor modifications to the threshold and door opening. Overall, we were well-pleased with the results.

Even though Sammy was the low bid for the project, his work was professionally done and the finished remodeling is beautiful. Sammie was very responsive to all my requests, he took the time to explain thoroughly what could and needed to be done for the results I wanted. Even when we encountered some kitchen tile problems, he recommended very astute alternatives. I felt confident that he could deliver what I wanted, and boy, he did. I really liked the crew that did the work, especially Nelson and Luis. They kept me aware of what they were going to do to make sure that the work met my approval. What was especially noteworthy was in the two weeks that it took to complete the project, there was always someone on hand working, even though we were having a lot of rainy weather at the time. I will use this company again in the future without hesitation and strongly recommend them based on my wonderful experience. Description of work: Cleaned and power washed entire exterior. Replaced rotted wood bordering with hardy plank around the home and garage exterior and chimney, cpainted all external wooden surfaces, gutters, and steel garage doors. Removed wall-paper, textured and painted walls and laid stone tile in small bath. Removed wallpaper, textured and painted walls and cabinets in kitchen, Installed granite countertops w/stainless steel sinks and hardware In kitchen. Painted vaulted entrance way, stairwell and large upstairs game room.

The work began around 15 April with a skeleton team as we delayed build-up until we had interest in our home for sale. By mid-May the work proceeded in earnest. However, prior to starting the demolition, the house was treated by our pest-control service for 'bed bugs' that were left by our renters. Afterwards, the walls were primed for protection from odor left by accidents encountered during the rental period. The kitchen and both bathrooms were gutted, an interior wall removed between kitchen and family room, and original flooring removed. The cabinetry, new back-splash and granite counter-tops were installed. The entire floor had to be leveled prior to application of the wood-tile flooring. New A/C ducts were installed, new PEX water lines (hot and cold) were run through the walls (the old galvanized pipe were disconnected but not removed from walls) and additional vent installed in roof for the new cooking appliance. All the electrical switches and outlets were replaced with the 'decor' style. Multiple GFCI outlets were installed throughout kitchen, baths, laundry room and garage. All A/C registers were replaced throughout the house. On the exterior, the three entry doors were replaced with 'pre-hung' units (garage egress, front entry and rear entry). Additionally, the soffit, siding and gutters were removed. These were replaced with HardiePlank and 3" x 4" gutters/downspouts. All were caulked and painted. Also, three bay windows and a small (34" x 34") kitchen window above the sink were replaced with newer, more efficient models. Once all the prep work was accomplished, the interior was painted (including ceiling), fans and lighting fixtures installed and finally the kitchen appliances installed (refrigerator, microwave, garbage disposal, dish washer and stove/oven range in the counter/island (where prior wall had been removed). All interior doors were removed, sanded, repainted and re-hung. All door fixtures throughout (interior and exterior) were replaced. The baseboards were either repaired or replaced, re-painted and quarter-round attached throughout. The contract was written such that all labor and 'most' construction materials were included in the invoice. However, a large portion of the individual (user-selected) items were purchased separately by owner and then installed by contractor. These additional items included: a) three exterior doors; b) all externally-mounted decorative lighting fixtures (wall and ceiling mount, interior and exterior -- only bathroom fans and recess lighting included in contract); c) all ceiling fans with lighting and remote access switching; d) all plumbing fixtures (bathroom and kitchen faucets); e) all door fixtures (levers and double cylinders); f) both toilets; g) bathtub; h) bath and shower plumbing fixtures; i) bath and shower tile; j) kitchen back-splash; k) tile; l) grout; m) interior paint (not same brand as contractor's choice); n) microwave; o) refrigerator; p) stove/oven range; q) range vent hood; and r) dish washer. The contract for labor and the larger construction material (cabinetry, drywall, HardiePlank, ducts, recess lighting, PEX piping, gutters, bathroom sinks [4] and kitchen sink, wall texturing, gutters, exterior paint, caulking, electrical cabling, trim, baseboard and quarter rounds) amounted to ~ 59,300 USD. Additionally, the separate material purchases for the renovation as listed in items a) through r) above amounted to another ~15,800 USD for a total expenditure of ~75,100 USD.
