Description of Work: We had our bathroom remodeled. Service was excellent. Personnel very professional. Work exceptional. Prices very reasonable. Our bathroom turned out beautifully and exceeded our expectations. The contractor was also very accomidating working around our hectic schedules and he followed up on the smallest of details. I highly recommend their services and would use them again.

Description of Work: I purchased the special offer to paint the exterior of my house on Angie's list based on the previous review from the website. Being picky we ask Sammy to come to our house to explain how he will proceed. He explained us that he will apply 2 coats of paints on trims and hardy planks and that they will protect plants and area that needed to be covered to avoid the overspray. We were pleased with his explanations but the day his team showed up was a different story. The crew was very polite and this was not the problem. At the end of the day after they left we realized they cut the corners and even if the person responsible told us they applied 2 coats of paint everywhere it was obvious it wasn't and there was some overspray a little everywhere because nothing has been protected. Sammy apologized and a crew was scheduled to come and fixed/touched up certain area. Even if now the house looks nice it is the trust link that stinks to us. What was said and done was 2 different things.

Description of Work: No communication. I sent them an email, asking to set up an appointment to come out and review my bathroom remodeling project. I asked them to please give me a phone call, and I gave them my cell phone number. Their email response to me asking them to give me a call was "I will". They never again called nor emailed me, so I got my money back from Angies List.

Description of Work: Peraltas remodeled two bathrooms, the kitchen, the dining room and refinished the hardwood floors. We are very happy with the result and Sammy was a pleasure to work with. The job took a little longer to finish than we hoped but overall we would definitely use Peraltas again for a job like this

Description of Work: I purchased an exterior house painting deal from The Peraltas group via Angie's list. They removed all the gutters, replaced any bad boards, and repainted all exterior wood. They did an excellent job, were timely and on schedule. This was the second job that the Peraltas Group did for me, and I would use them again.

Description of Work: In downsizing we sold our home and decided to remodel our three bedroom condo where we would retire. We had three bathrooms tiled and two bathtubs removed, installing three new showers and vanities. We also had our kitchen remodeled with granite counter tops and a beautiful tiled backsplash, installing a new range and dishwasher, which we purchased. + -1 moreSammy Peralta and his staff come on time, are very courteous and clean up the work site each night before leaving. If you select fixtures or doors from a retailer, they will pick them up for you. When they replaced my back fence last year they carefully placed and move temporary fencing each day while the fence was down so that my dog would have an area of the yard to use. Since they do both construction and yard service, they will level the yard while repairing or replacing fencing. They will also be able to clean gutters while repairing siding. When replacing an outdated light fixture Sammy was able to patch the kitchen ceiling and replicated the "stomped" texture that was in my 37 year-old house. I owed a favor to a neighbor and aked Sammy to visit her and give me a bid to do the same ceiling repair in her house. On his way home, he went to her house, took the measurements he needed and had her job done within two days. I have always been happy with the pricing I have received and Sammy does not continue to charge you for "extras". He is very experienced at giving estimates that include all of the necessary costs so you are never surprised during the middle of a job by additional expenses.
Description of Work: Removed outdated built in flourescent ceiling fixture, patched and texturized ceiling, installed recessed lighting, replaced two exterior doors, painted garage door, hung pendant light. Peraltas has also replaced and painted Handie Plank, replaced bathroom taps, cleaned gutters, leveled yard and built fence for me.

His pricing was lower than all of the other quotes I got. He did a great job and I could not have been more pleased with the work. I am planning on using him again in the future.

+ 3 moreSammy is very good at listening to your ideas and implementing them. My experience has been that he is very thorough and careful to do a good job regardless of the task. Some of the highlights: The work he did on painting the cabinets was excellent. And two years later, they look as good as they did when they were first refinished. He did an especially good job on the tile work. We used a large, dark rectangle tile on the floor and wanted a 1/16" grout line. Working around an island and the surrounding cabinetry did not pose a problem. The lines were straight and consistent. Overall the work Sammy did for us was excellent. And important ingredient in that is that he is a friendly and positive personality to work with in what can often be a stressful situation. He was always willing to listen to suggestions and offer his in return. The people he used to assist him were also good at their jobs and very accommodating. And most importantly, I felt comfortable allowing them to do their work without us constantly having to be on site. I would highly recommend talking to Sammy about your next project.
Description of Work: They did the majority of the work in a complete kitchen remodel. Raised a drop down ceiling to standard height including sheetrock work, texturing and painting. Completely refinished the existing and new cabinets included preparation, priming and final painting of the cabinets and replacement doors. Installed porcelain tile in the kitchen area along with glass tiles for the backsplash. Note: The cost of service was for labor only, no materials.
