Description of Work: Power died in an old computer. They replace power source, cleaned up files and made run much faster.

Description of Work: My one year old desktop was slowing down, experiencing pop-ups and several other similar maladies. Computer Hospital gave me a price, did the work and on time. I have been using this service for over 5 years. I spent 40 years in Customer Service before I retired in 2011. They have always done what they promised,professionally and on time. They advised me when I bought a new desktop a year ago and when I bought a router 2 years ago.

Description of Work: Worst example of bait and switch advertisement I have ever experienced. Lie about the $39 job. I paid Angie's list $39 for one hour of computer work. Do I get this money back? Computer Repair & Service denied the $39 service agreement with Angie's list.

Description of Work: My computer had been attacked by a virus and I called and they immediately told me to change my passwords through my Apple products and bring my PC down to have it repaired. I took it in on Sat. afternoon and was met promptly with a repairman who took down all of my information and informed me that I could use a Angie's List coupon also. The repairs were made and I was called Monday afternoon. Very professional help in all areas - in the intake, repair of and return of my PC. We discussed any and all precautions that I could take in the future. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: The company's personnel told me that the services I was requesting could not be done on-site and that I would need to bring the machine in to their facility. So, I brought it in and then they told me that the services which were advertised in the "Big Deal" did not include the services I requested. (My need / request was that the contents of a hard-drive from an old desktop computer be transferred to a USB drive that could be used in my current and future computers). They eventually did the service for me, but they were rude, dispassionate and not fun to work with. :(

Description of Work: No service was performed because he told me over the phone that I had a virus and I took my laptop to another repair shop and they told me that I did not have a virus and they fixed my laptop

Description of Work: I found the Computer Hospital because I bought a coupon off of Angies List. The quality of service and the knowledge of the staff was outstanding. I also thought there prices were reasonable. However, administratively they're a bit of a mess. I called them about the coupon which was for in home repair and after talking to a couple of folks, they said it would be best for me to bring your computer in so that I could get more value for money. It would still be an $80 coupon, I would just get $80 of service vs. $40. Sounds good, brought the computer in. I was in and out a couple of times over the next week and like I said, service was great. But every time I needed to pay, or discuss the coupon, I was met with blank stares and confusion. I finally settled up today and showed them my coupon. The guy just said 'oh boy, I'm not sure what I do with this". Then I told him it was an $80 coupon. He said there was only $50 of labor so I basically just lost $30 of the coupon. I guess I could have pushed it, but was happy to avoid more confusion. So would I use them again? Yes. Would I invest in a coupon with them? No.

Description of Work: I brought my computer in for an estimate. The person who helped me was very professional and helpful. I decided my computer was not worth paying to have it repaired.

Description of Work: my internet provider told me there was a problem with my computer because the problem supposedly wasn't on their end. i took it to the Computer Hospital. The technician went over the computer with me for about 30 minutes, checking all my settings. He also tried a different power cord and showed me whether there was a problem with it. He didn't try to sell me anything and said the problem wasn't with my laptop. I would use them again.

Description of Work: We have 3 computers networked in the office and 2 stopped connecting to the Internet or to a remote printer. The main computer still functioned fully, so we assumed it was a hardware problem. However, try as we might, we couldn't find the problem. After calling several other computer repair people, including tech support at Dell and the people who originally installed the computers, and others, we called Computer Hospital. No one else wanted to bother with a small office, or had the "time" to service our problem. He had us fixed and up and running in about 10 minutes. On the phone! Great guy and much appreciated. He's our computer man from now on.
