Texas Fence

The specifications for the job were excellent - very detailed yet easy to read. The salesman and the team installing the fence were courteous and professional. There was some problem with communication about scheduling near the end when the final piece hit a snag, but the work was excellent when completed. I have already recommended the company to friends. The neighbors who share the part we did plan to use Texas fence to complete their own fence replacements.

To be clear, the finished product is lovely and the entire process was low stress for me. I will hire this company again for additional work that I know will need to be done on my property. I only wish, however, that communication with the company had been better for this project. It sometimes felt as if the team responsible for installation had not been fully briefed on the particulars of the plan. My schedule did permit me to stop in a couple of times over the course of the 3-day installation in order to provide information to the guys doing the work, so nothing had to be redone. But, I know that I had provided that same information to the sales person who came out for the initial consultation. Getting a hold of the correct people within the company was somewhat challenging at times. The best service providers I've dealt with always answer email within 24 hours. This was not the case for me during this project. It would seem that they prefer to communicate via telephone, but the nature of my profession does not permit me to take phone calls while working. The inability to quickly and unambiguously communicate was sometimes a frustration and probably slowed the project a little bit. To their credit, they didn't rush me and didn't charge me anything until we had the plan just right. When time came to pay, they wanted half the money to start the project and then invoiced me for the balance once the project was completed to my satisfaction. Payment was handled online via credit card. Very convenient.

They gave me a good quote. I was happy with them coming out quickly, responding to the call and coming out to give me a quote. I am still in the deciding phase of weather to do the work myself or to have them do it. The quote worked out well in my need, to give me the right information of what I needed to make a decision, but I am not making that decision now.

It went well. The contact person was awesome, being very patient as we worked through issues. The quality of the work was excellent and it was performed in a timely manner.

Terrific! Texas Fence is incredibly professional. They sent out Brian to measure and make a plan of the fence to be replaced. He also worked with my three neighbors who share a property and fence-line with me, and submitted proposals to all of us that showed the breakdown of shared costs. Texas Fence made sure to start the project on my preferred project date. The crew was efficient and hard-working. And the fence is beautiful. I was pleased with the entire process.

Everything went great! On the 1st day they put in the new posts and the top rung and on the second day they completed the job and did the cleanup. No problems and no issues! Curtis Hinson with Texas Fence was the salesman and he stayed on top of the process.

We had special requests on our project and the staff at Texas Fence was very attentive to every detail of our project. Mr. Schmidt, our sales rep, and Ms. Barnett in the sales office were extremely professional and responsive to our needs. The crew arrived on time and finished the project in a timely manner. We have received several compliments on the fence and have referred some of our neighbors to Texas Fence.

Went very well. Fence crew was very nice & got the job done in 2 days. Used sched 40 steel pipe instead of wood 4x4's. Fence crew fulfilled all special requests that I wanted done to the fence.

Due to a misunderstanding, they got off to a late start. Nevertheless, when the crew arrived they not only did an excellent job but they got it completed in one day like they said they would.

They were prompt, fast, very professional and the work was so good our neighbors plan to hire them to do their fence.

Texas Fence came out and gave me a very detailed estimate.This estimate gave me a detailed description down to the type of nails they use.David Connery was great to work with he answered my questions in detail and honestly. The installers were friendly and addressed my concerns.They worked hard and finished the fence in two days and cleaned up after completion.The fence came out beautiful and the price i paid was more than fair for a better quality fence.I would also like to give a shout out to Daniel Benson i had a lot of the left over dirt from the project that i did not need and he had it removed. Great job.

Texas fence is a very good company. From the sales department down to the customer service department. I am a very hard person to please and they did a great job. After my fence was installed I had some issues with the wood gate and the wrought iron fence. They were Johnny on the spot. I want to give special thanks to Daniel and Philip in customer service great job guys.

I contacted this company through Angie's List and they gave me an estimate. I signed the estimate and paid half ($732.50). We scheduled for the work to be done on March 1st 10 am. When I messaged then to confirm the time the day before they said that I was not on the schedule. I received some responses from Roman that he was going to look into it. I let him know that I was going to call Angie's List for further assistance. I had saved all the messages about the work that need to be done including the signed estimate and confirmation of the date and time scheduled. Trey Burgess told the representative at Angie's List that I was difficult and refused to give phone numbers. However the whole time Roman had been texting me on my personal phone. I told the representative that if the work was performed on the day that was agreed upon that I wanted a refund for the money that they had already collected. Trey Burgess stated that my refund would be issued first thing the next morning.

The fence looks really great. We had a few punch list items. All were resolve to our satisfaction. Great job!

It went well. It was a very good deal. The only issue I had with the company was that they it was an additional fee due to a tree stump which I thought was included in the deal. The work was great and the fence is still in great shape.

Provided an electronic contract, which had a legal promise of money and only three-day cancellation. REFUSED in the most bizarre, passive aggressive way to answer when could we schedule services. Almost like a game with them. After six messages asking when can schedule, I gave up. Soooo, if you have a life and don't have all day to message about when available to do service, then DO NOT use this vendor. Unfortunately, for the sales and project guy who came out to the house, who was nice, they lose out when the person responding on Angie's List has ZERO customer service sense.

They brought 4 guys and kicked a**. I left and came back and it was done. I like they way they did the bottom, modified the bottom and leveled it. It dips down in a couple spots and they held that line of sight. They were a little late. Sales guy was good, work guy was good.

There were 2 people to build the fence and it took one day. It was acceptable service. They cleaned the area up when they were finished. What they did well that stood out was that they built a fence.

It was excellent. They did an outstanding job. I would tell someone that is interested in working with them that it was perfect. My wife said that that the workers were outstanding. They performed the service within one afternoon.

It went super-well. We didn't clarify before they started that we needed to have fence panels facing alternate directions. When we finally noticed it, they changed the framing up to support alternate facings without complaint or extra charge! The only downside is that they showed up to do the work with almost no notice.
