Unbelievably responsive, professional, and reasonably priced. Between the moment I called him and the time he was done with replacing my water heater in the attic, the total time was probably less than 2.5 hours. Joe has some standard pricing for water heaters and it didn't cost me a dime more.

The installers were on time, quoted me a price and came back the very next day to complete the installation. They finished quickly and they even took the time to lay out towers so as to not dirty my carpet.

For price, they were competitive. I had several quotes and they came down to beat the best quote. They did a very good job. I didn't have an emergency or anything, but they were here in less than 24 hours. They got here when they said and finished very promptly. From what I can tell, the overall quality of their work was good. I paid for some long-warranty ones, so hopefully they last longer than me. It took them about three hours to complete the work. It was three people that came. What most impressed me was the speed in which they got it done and they knew exactly what they were doing. These two water heaters in the attic of a second story home so it's not an easy job. They have to spray up there, they have to bring it down several flights of stairs, and put the new one up. You could tell they've done it all before.

I am insanely impressed. Yesterday was when I noticed water pouring out of a spout on the side of the house. Not being familiar with plumbing, I panicked. Called a plumbing company that we've used in the past and they came out, looked at it, and informed me we needed new water heaters. They quoted me a price of $2,600 for both. I called around and came across a different company that quoted me $2,160. But....they said there could be other fees involved if something came up. Uncertainty is not a comfortable feeling. It just so happened that while I was doing research my husband was doing his. He checked with Home Advisors and came across Texans Water Heater and noticed they had a high rating of 4.9. I hesitated but then I checked on Angie's List and noticed all of the positive reviews. They were not exaggerating! The owner and his 2 employees were punctual, professional, and polite. Way beyond satisfactory, they were excellent. They have completely restored my faith in contractors. There was no hidden costs and they even threw in a metal turn off valve to replace the original plastic one. They replaced all of the hoses; something I don't think the other companies would have done without an extra charge. The whole process was smooth and headache free. It was an amazing experience! Also, they said it would take a couple hours to do the work but they were done in an 1.5 hours. There wasn't a single negative experience in the whole process.

Joe and his team were excellent! They came in, explained the job, the price and went right to it. The day before I had been to H D to price a w/h and was told they could have w/h installed that day-in afternoon, OK. The service van of a well known firm arrived with a young plumber, his estimate was $1900.00 for installation+the cost of the w/h, everything was out of code and had to be replaced according to him. Joe arrived and didn't see the need to do the other work. Joe completed the take out/installation in 90 mns. Great job!

Joe was quick to return my call and very professional. Called at 8:00 in the morning to discuss the deal and they arrived at 2:30 to install a new unit. By 5:00 the new unit was installed without any issues. Great job!

The old water heater broke after 11.5 years of service. Scheduling an appointment with Texans Water Heaters took a few minutes. I got quick review of the heaters options, time available and the cost estimate. The team headed by Joe showed up promptly on time. We had busy day on that day and could not pay too much attention on the installation process. After it was finished in about an hour and a half, Joe reviewed the work done will all relevant details on the heater answering a few questions I had. We had a brand new carpet installed a few weeks earlier and worried a little about the possible mess. It was all good. I liked professional attitude and quality of the job. Will give them a call in 8-10 years to get a new heater.

Joe and his employee are very professional on what they do. They came early in the morning to do the work and finished within 2 hrs. like he said. No problem was encountered during the service. They replaced our water heater with a reasonable prize with a good quality water heater. He explained everything about it and clean up after the work. They are highly recommended.

Good EXCEPT water has been leaking from the feeder pipe after the installation. Joe explained that the pipe was too fragile because it's galvanized. He said he would fix the leak for $300 but we should find other contractors to do it as he didn't want to touch plumbing. His statement didn't sound right as the pipe had been in good condition with absolutely no leaks/ cracks prior to his installation. With years of experience, he should have been very cautious with the type of pipe he was working on. He offered two-year labor warranty to compensate.

It went perfect!! They were very punctual and extremely professional. They explained everything that they would be doing and took great care to do a really neat job. They cleaned up after themselves, you would never know that they had been there, except that now we have hot water again!! Very friendly as well and very respectful. They knew ahead of time just how long it would take and they were pretty much exact on that! We would definitely use them again and refer them to any of our friends! Requested a quote, online, on a Sunday. Received a call within 10 minutes with cost numbers and availability. Joe was able to provide a one hour time (w/ 30 min arrival notice). Requested a slightly upgraded water heater which he quoted at a very reasonable price adder. Had availability for the very next day so I booked him. Joe and his crew gave me a 45 min arrival notice and showed up right on time. From start to finish, including removing the old gas water heater, his crew only took 1 hour and 30 minutes! They were very careful moving the water heaters up/down two flights of stairs. Completed the work and showed me exactly what was accomplished as well as cleaned up any debris from the attic. Included a new pan and all fittings and connections. No nickel and dime adders. Very professional. Family owned. Will use again (if necessary).

Texans Water Heaters gave me a quote to replace two forty gallon water heaters in the attic of our two story home on 6-1-16 and we scheduled them to provide the work the next day. They called in advance to let us know they were on their way and arrived as scheduled. Joe and his helper put down covering on the carpets leading up to the access stairs for the attic. They removed the old heaters and installed the new units including drain pans, gas lines, water connections, insulation for water lines, and alarm systems. We were surprised how fast all of this went. The only reason we gave a B rating for quality instead of a A rating is they left the old water line insulation and the pieces of exhaust pipe laying in the attic.

I am a demanding customer, and seek value for $$$. So when my two 11 year old water heaters finally failed, I was out shopping for a replacement. Joe, the owner, arrived with his helper within the two hour time window we had agreed upon for him to diagnose the situation., just 24 hours after I had bought my deal for "Water Heater inspection" from Angie's list. Problem: hot water flow had reduced in volume and temperature. One heater was 12 years old and was due for replacement. The other was about 6 years old, but the pilot had gone out, and would almost assuredly require replacement of the gas regulator to get it back going. Personal experience told me this was an expensive proposition just to get a six year old heater started again, so I agreed to replace that heater as well. New Rheem units were installed two days after the inspection. Joe also spotted that my tanks had been plumbed in series, so that all water had to pass through both of them, and explained that this alone would shorten my tank life. Instead, he offered to replumb the new ones in parallel, so that water would pass through one tank or the other, and not both. If one failed, I could shut shut the water flow off to it and fix it, while the other unit continued to work. The units are near one another so the plumbing reroutes were minimal. The new configuration should lead to longer heater life, as well. I agreed. He used reliable ball valves in the new plumbing to isolate flow where necessary, and overall did an excellent job. I was impressed by Joe's ability to spot the plumbing problem, and explain it to me. It wasn't just fixing a leak, but a rethinking of where the water should flow for best results. So I end up with not just a pair of new heaters, but a better designed system. The more I think about it, the more I love it! Texans Water Heaters did a great job! They use quality components, and are priced accordingly. They are prompt and pretty quick, too.

They were prompt, professional, cheaper than other companies, and installed a water heater by manufacturer that we couldn't find with other companies.
